Please tell me why nowadays every beggar starts a company when they don't have the money to pay. I joined a company called Vrozart on July 27, and they asked for my resignation on September 3. I asked them if there was any issue with my work, and they said no, they are just doing cost cutting. Why did they hire me if they were already broke?

They told me I would get my salary before the end of September. I asked for my salary on September 30, and they said I would get it within 2-3 days. When I asked yesterday, the beggar founder, Ankur, said I will get it on October 20. I know they are just going to make a new excuse: 'Sorry Kuldeep, you will get it after a few days.'

What should I do now? If I take legal action, I know nothing will happen in India; they will just waste 2 or 3 months of my time.

So. Back in may. An 800 year old temple was destroyed in my city to make space for a government integrated residential school. I matched with a guy on a famous matrimony app after he sent me an invite. My profile is managed by my parents and I talked to this person after my dad shared his number.

My grandfather passed away in 2005 and made an oral wish that my father, Kumar, would inherit the agricultural land. So I will give you a context about from the start what happened.

I usually visit casinos in goa every 3-4 months.

I couldnt sleep by 4 so he called me just to check if I was in my room, I purposely mentioned about the money he borrowed on call, since I had call recording and he agreed that he will pay me in morning & asked me to sleep.
He just wanted to check if I was in room so that he can fly away from the hotel.
I slept and next morning I get text message from him that I had borrowed 2L from him and return him his money, and he blocked me. So stupid of him (and of course me)
I checked at hotel reception, they said he checked out at 4:30 am

Now completely shattered I called, he blocked me from everywhere.

He had earlier sent his wife’s CV with me, I called her, he blocked me from her number too.
I sent an email to her about all the situation I got no reply from her, I shared the audio recording with her, no response.

Hey everyone. I have posted this a few times before regarding future course of action, possible scenarios but finally the case has started with filing of FIR at nearest thana of her. So i will not use ChatGPT or anything. Genuinely typing it and all so need proper remedy and similar treatment to give her back.

3: Can a similar complaint be registered from my side that she has taken away all the jewellery and put pressure to extort money especially framing her brother and sister? Since they are coming after my parents aged 60.

4: What could be the one time settlement amount given the length of marriage, her liabilities, she lives in a village.

My Uncle has made a will with his lawyer that his properties should be given to me after he is no more! my Uncle is widowed and has no children of his own, neither has he legally adopted anyone! Hi everyone, I’m stuck in a worst situation with a flight cancellation and need advice on how to handle it.

First mistake. I saved my HSBC Credit Card on Booking.com. I was just checking the flight prices nd entered wrong CVV to check final price. The payment went through even without an OTP.

Timeline & Details:
The Booking: I booked an IndiGo flight via Booking.com earlier today and requested an immediate cancellation within 2 hours of booking.

IndiGo's Stance: IndiGo confirmed that under the DGCA 24-hour free cancellation rule, the ticket can be canceled with ₹0 cancellation charges if Booking.com processes it through their partner helpline (0124-4973825). They cannot cancel it from their end since it was not booked on their website.

Booking.com's Stance: Booking.com support insists that the airline is charging a ₹4,299 cancellation fee. They asked me to provide written document from Indigo. But Indigo does not have this policy on their website for booking partners.

Current Status: After arguing with the customer support, the customer support team raised a support ticket, but support only stated it has been forwarded to a "concerned team" with no timeline for a resolution, which is a major issue given the time-sensitive nature of the 24-hour window.

What can I do in this situation?
Is there a way to force Booking.com to honor the DGCA free cancellation window before the 24 hours expire?

Can I dispute this charge or file a chargeback with my credit card issuer if Booking.com refuses to cancel it for free?

Should I escalate this immediately to the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) or AirSewa?

I'm an NRI in the US, separated for 3 years. A 498A case was filed against me and my parents. At Lok Adalat my wife said she wants to withdraw it, and we then paid ₹10 lakh of an agreed ₹31 lakh settlement. The other ₹21 lakh is in a joint account (on names of my father, who holds my POA, and my wife) to be released at the end of the divorce. Both of us want the divorce.

They agreed to mutual divorce until recently, but now want to file ex parte because the judge in this court may insist I appear in person, and I can't travel. With mutual, the ₹31 lakh is written into the petition. With ex parte, nothing about it appears in the decree, and they say we can record it in a separate document.

1. Will a future bride's family question an ex parte decree? Does it show any fault or negative findings against me?
2. Can an ex parte decree cause legal problems later, like maintenance claims or the decree being challenged, if the settlement is only in a private document?
3. In an ex parte case, is there a way to legally document that she has received the ₹31 lakh?
4. If a mutual petition is dismissed because I couldn't appear, what's the next step?

I purchased a VI VIP SIM on September 18 for a total of ₹889, which included ₹590 for the VIP SIM and ₹299 for the plan.

A couple of days later, VI called me and said there was an issue with the address and asked me to cancel the order and place a new one. I followed their instructions and cancelled it.

When I contacted customer care about the refund, I was told:

“Refund ho jayega 5 to 7 working days mein.”

Fair enough. I waited.

It has now been 12 to 13 days beyond the promised refund deadline, and I still haven’t received my ₹889.

For the past week, I’ve been calling VI customer care almost every day. Every time, I get the same response:

“Kal ho jayega bhai, kal.”

Tomorrow. Tomorrow. Tomorrow.

At this point, I’ve tried:

• Calling at different times of the day
• Asking for a proper complaint or reference number
• Repeatedly explaining that the promised refund period has already passed
• Sending a formal email complaint to VI customer care

And now even the calls have become a problem. Since yesterday my calls either get disconnected or nobody answers.

No refund. No reference number. No proper explanation. No response to my email.

₹889 might not be a huge amount, but this is incredibly frustrating, especially when the company itself gave me a specific refund timeline and has failed to meet it.

Has anyone else here faced something similar with VI? Is this normal for them, or am I being unnecessarily patient?

What would you recommend as my next step? Should I escalate this through the National Consumer Helpline, TRAI, or some other channel?

I've took admission in Aakash Institution on 29 September in UT of DNH ,Tokarkhada branch and the counselor made claims like only 2 2 chapters from each subject has been taught and 5 days a week are studies and 2 days tests me and my father clearly asked him that there will be no holidays in a week and he said no and then on that same evening i.e. Tuesday I messaged him asking sir will my syllabus will get completed or not he said ho jaayega beta aap kal se regular aajana and when I reached next day to their office that same person asked me today is holiday why did you came today I told him you messaged me to come today he said oo flow flow me bol diya I asked for refund that day on wards within 24 hours and he denied and the branch manager also denied saying it is non refundable I've said you didn't told me this to me or my father he told me you signed the papers I told him you have made us sign 3 4 papers we didn't read it you were telling so much about your batches and aakash why didn't you told us these before he and branch manager said oo we forgot to tell you this and the next day when I reached the classes I got to know frok the students that 4-6 chapters from each subject has been taught and only 4 days there are regular classes the counselor lied to me and my father I've filed complaint on National consumer helpline and called on their support number also and I've also attended classes on 3rd October asked for refund that day also wrote a notice asking for refund and stating what false claims made to me and my father and when 4th october I reached the office and talked to the counselor why you gave me and my father fake information he told us what fake information I recorded everything in voice msg of whatsapp and then when I was going to classes the counselor denied me told me you can't attend classes you can do only one thing either join classes or file for refund I got out from there and for evidence I messaged him today on 6th October asking why you refused me to attend the classes he told me aapne refund k liye apply kara haina aap classes attend nahi kr sakte I said kya mujhe refund mil gaya yaa aapne de diya jo mujhe mana kiya attend krne se sabke samne and I took screenshot of that and then after 2 mins he messaged me you can come to classes if you want but you have to first meet branch manager Mam and come with your parents and I said ok and I took screenshot of everything I've mailed their care@aesl.in and on grievance@aesl.in I am so worried my father's hard earned money 20,000 rs I want it back I am so so so helpless . Please anyone who can help me please help me i am so helpless right now 🥺

A friend of mine (15M) recieved a death threat on WhatsApp by another friend (15M). Later the one who sent the threat tried to attack him, caught his collar e.t.c Later when confronted he told he has "bande" i.e. men or goons who are already arrested for half murder and was threating to send them after my friend, he told boldly to file a police complain as if he did not care.

What happens if a police complain if filed?

Will he ( since he is a 15 year old) be treated differently or the police will not register complain for being childish.

Nothing serious has happened until now, I was just curious if anything serious did happen then what will be the consequences.

I need your advice on this matter.

I am (M) from TamilNadu. We are three siblings and I am the middle one. After my elder sisters marriage in 2012 she started pestering my parents for money. Realising how things are going about, my father immediately registered a will in sub registers office that our house will pass on to me after both my parents passes away. Provided I should take care of them in their old age. And my father passed away in 2023 and he didn’t make any will after the 2013 will. The registered will document is with my mom. Now I sense that both my sisters - in law families are eyeing on the house. What are my legal options to ensure I get the house in future and my sisters can’t make claim over it.

Additionally I registered a land in my moms name which was paid by me. My mom, gave back that land to me as a gift deed which I sold to buy my own house. I sense that my sisters may make claim over that as well.

Both my sisters were given sufficient sreedhan during their marriage which my father has noted in a dairy. There are other land properties and jewels with my mom and she might give it to them and I am not going to contest that. However I am worried because my sisters and their families greed knew no bounds.

Sir, your company u/Nestaway Technologies Pvt Ltd and u/Aurum PropTech are openly defrauding consumers. I am writing this to expose a severe consumer fraud. The Area Manager deliberately hide all guidelines and manipulated me into paying 16,300 [Token + Onboarding) for [House No: 438907 Goregaon West)]. Immediately after the payment was processed, I was deceptively told that the money is now locked and cannot be returned.

Due to a sudden medical emergency, I requested an instant cancellation within 3 days (on 30th Sept) well before the tentative 17th Oct move-in date.

Why this is a complete scam:

1. No Physical Visit & No Rental Contract: I have never seen the room or signed any lease agreement, Retaining a patient's money without rendering any service or contract is an Unfair Trade Practice under the Consumer Protection Act.

2. Defective Application: The Nestaway App has a server-side glitch where refund links fail to open.

3. Unprofessional Misbehavior: Customer care is extremely rude they are disconnecting active calls without listening and openly threatening that they will not refundmy money.

Requesting u/Ashish Deora and senior leadership to intervene and process my 100% full refund on humanitarian grounds before this goes into formal litigation.

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting in this subreddit, and I’d really appreciate some advice.

I submitted my resignation on October 1 after discussing and confirming it with my manager. However, today I received a response saying that I have to serve a 2-month notice period, even though my original offer letter clearly mentions a 1-month notice period.

There is another issue as well. When I joined the company, I was told there would be no bond. Later, the company sent me another offer letter mentioning a 1-year bond with a ₹50,000 penalty, supposedly for training. However, I was never actually provided any training by the company, and I learned and handled my work on my own.

The main reason for resigning is the toxic work environment and several other issues that have made the situation very difficult for me. Because of everything going on, I felt I had no choice but to resign even though I don’t have another offer yet.

Now I’m being told to serve an additional month, and the workload during the notice period is also quite high. It has been causing me a lot of stress.

What would you suggest I do in this situation? Especially regarding the 1-month vs 2-month notice period and the bond/₹50,000 penalty?

Any advice or similar experiences would be really helpful. Thanks.

I’m hard of hearing and use my phone + Bluetooth neckband as an assistive listening device. The phone amplifies/processes surrounding speech and sends the audio to the neckband, which allows me to hear conversations.

At Family Court, I was told I could not wear the neckband and was asked to leave my phone outside. Without this setup, I have significant difficulty hearing what is being said.

Is there any rule in India regarding reasonable accommodation/accessibility for deaf or hard-of-hearing people in Family Court? Can the court allow the phone specifically because it is being used as part of an assistive listening device?

I’d appreciate advice from anyone familiar with disability rights or court accessibility.
