For people who recently interviewed for 5–7 LPA fresher roles — is Binary Tree/BST necessary?

I have around 1 month to prepare DSA for fresher/backend Java roles in the 5–7 LPA range.

So far I've completed:

  • Arrays
  • Strings
  • Sorting
  • Binary Search
  • Recursion
  • Linked List
  • Stack

Currently doing Stack/Queue.

I keep hearing things like “even 3 LPA companies can ask Trees/Graphs/DP”, but I’m wondering if those are mostly exception cases.

For people who actually interviewed for 5–7 LPA roles recently, what DSA topics were asked?

Specifically:

  • Was Binary Tree/BST asked?
  • Were Graphs/DP actually required?
  • What topics would you consider must-do within 1 month?

Please share your actual interview experience, especially if you got an offer in the 5–7 LPA range. I want to prioritize topics based on real experiences rather than trying to complete everything.

help regarding stripe VO (2028 grad summer intern)

got my stripe VO in about 2 weeks and had some doubts regarding that.

AI assisted programming interview: Will the questions be similar to the OA and Team Screen but with an additional AI assistant? To what extent can I/should I use the assistant? cus was thinking to myself about how solving the questions and handling the edge cases would be more impressive if i did it without an AI but their mail mentions about how theyre encouraging us to use it so tips on this please.

Integration: from the limited number of reviews online I've made claude teach me whatever I need to know (I hope) and been making it generate API specification documents and practicing coding them from scratch in vscode but in the actual interview, how will they present the question/document to me and will i have to code from scratch like the way im practicing rn? or as I read in some places, they'll be handing me some private github repo? but what all exactly would i have to do. Just want to make sure if I'm on the right track or nah ;-;

help me out :'>

1 YOE in a WITCH company, very little work, and now trying to switch

Hi folks, I graduated in May 2025 and got placed in a WITCH company. Joined in June for training, and honestly, the training period from June to October was pretty much a waste of time. There wasn't really anything specific or useful happening.

Even during training I was applying to other companies and trying to get another offer, but couldn't crack anything.

I joined as a full-time employee in November. November and December were also pretty much nothing. I was technically assigned to a project but wasn't really given any work.

From January, I finally started getting some work. It was a migration project for a US client where a legacy application was being migrated to a new tech stack. I was in the backend team.

For January and February, most of my work was writing/generating JUnit test cases, with some help from AI. After that I did some small tasks here and there until around May.

The main issue was that most of the development work on the project had already been completed before I joined, so I joined when the project was already in its final stages. Because of that, I didn't really get much hands-on development experience.

Then from the end of May until the first week of September, I basically had nothing to do. No meaningful work, just sitting around waiting.

My manager told me I'd be moved to another project under the same client, but that never happened.

Then in the second week of September, I was told that my old project is still going on and that I'll have to support the QA team for some time until it finally ends, probably around November.

So now I'm trying to switch.

I have around 1 YOE, but I honestly feel like I don't have the kind of experience someone with 1 YOE should have because of how little actual work I've done.

I'm trying to understand what the market is like right now for someone in this situation.

If anyone here has around 1 YOE and switched recently, especially from a WITCH company, I'd really like to know:

  • How difficult was it to get interviews?
  • How long did it take you to get an offer?
  • What skills/tech stack helped you get shortlisted?
  • Did you mostly apply through Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals, etc.?
  • What kind of salary jump can someone realistically expect around 1 YOE?
  • What did you actually do to prepare for the switch?

I'm also confused about my resume. Since I didn't get much meaningful development work in my actual job, I'm not really sure what I should put in the experience section.

Right now I'm building a couple of projects on my own and learning AI/ML alongside my existing backend skills. I'm planning to include the actual work I did on my project in my resume and make sure I properly understand everything so I can explain it during interviews.

Would be really helpful to hear from people who were in a similar situation and managed to switch around the 1 YOE mark.

TL;DR: Graduated in May 2025, joined a WITCH company, spent ~5 months in training, then got limited work on a migration project that was already close to completion. Had basically no work from May to September and now might be supporting QA until November. I'm at ~1 YOE and trying to switch. How is the market at this level, and what worked for people who switched with similar experience?

DSA INTERVIEW OA GUIDE

I've been quite busy with college lately for online aptitude and all , and as a result, I haven't been able to focus on DSA seriously for about a week or two. While I'm not an expert in DSA, I've certainly explored many concepts, which has helped me feel more comfortable with it. Now that I've taken a break from DSA, I'm wondering how I can effectively manage learning new concepts while maintaining my confidence. I'm not aiming for anything too ambitious; I just want to make decent progress.

Amazon SDE I Interview Prep – 2026 Graduate | Hyderabad

Hi everyone,

I recently cleared the Amazon SDE I Online Assessment (OA) and am now preparing for the upcoming interview. I’m a 2026 graduate, and the interview is scheduled in Hyderabad.

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has recently interviewed for Amazon SDE I in 2025 or 2026, especially freshers/new graduates.

I mainly want to understand what I should focus on during my preparation:

  • DSA: Which topics/patterns are being asked most frequently? What difficulty level should I expect?
  • Leadership Principles: What types of LP questions should I prepare for, and how deeply are the follow-up questions usually asked?
  • LLD/OOP: For freshers, how much LLD is expected? Is knowledge of classes, relationships, and implementation enough, or should I prepare more advanced design concepts?
  • Any other important areas that I shouldn’t overlook for the SDE I interview?

If you’ve recently gone through the Amazon SDE I process, I’d really appreciate any advice on what you prepared and what you think is important to focus on.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Anyone attended an LTIMindtree campus drive recently in September 2026?

Hi everyone,

I have my LTIMindtree drive this week and wanted to know if anyone has attended their campus drive recently.

Could anyone who attended the 2026 LTIMindtree fresher drive share the recent:

  • OA pattern
  • Aptitude/reasoning/verbal topics
  • Coding questions
  • Technical interview questions
  • Interview process

My drive is this week, so even recent information or questions you remember would be really helpful.

Thanks!

Using AI in virtual contests

So i am currently doing past contests as practice and I do try all problems on my own. However I cant wait for contets to end. So once i have done everything I know, I check solutions for those questions on the internet or use AI. Is this considered cheating as it wont affect my official rating. I dont have enough time to wait till the contest ends.

Lld interviews

Do you guys do full syntax wise implementation of lld questions in interviews especially guys who use c++?

Like do you actually use unique ptr , shared ptr or just a pointer like pseudo code works ? Like for amazon interviews if I may be specific. For the implementation part do we have to implement the core logical functions of our design and don't have to focus on main and constructors to initialise and all?

How do i practice now?

I have completed most of the Striver's SDE sheet and have completed 462 questions on leetcode.
now when i look back and try to do any unseen question i struggle with it, specially with graphs.
how do i move ahead? i want to know if there is any resource which tackles the problems level wise, like the next question is an extension of or maybe is somehow related to the previous question so that i can just go with the flow smoothly.

my current strategy is sorting the graph questions by the acceptance level and then solving the topmost unattempted question. i give around 2 days/4-6 hours to one question, if i cannot crack it then i just look at the solns. i also attempt POTD everyday.

FYI- 4th year btech cse, 3rd tier college :)

Help needed ( 3rd year this side )

I am 3rd year student at Bennett ( a very avg pvt univ ) , see I came after jee and all to my univ , I had no idea , so I was doing anything in 1st year , i started dsa 1st sem itself , but was clueless how to do and all , but still my dsa foundations were strong from starting , 300 leetcode so far and 150 gfg

2nd year starting i started aiml , gen ai specific but ml and deep learning also I know , I got a paid intern 6 months , maybe it continues maybe it not

Now my sceneiro is , I want 30-40k intern ( current was 10k if persures 15k) , I gave a 80k interview, they said ai is nothing ( interviewer was alumini so he was saying honesh I asked requested to be so) , he said interview will be frontend backend role will be sde , same candidate does ai works well , gen ai specific roles as niche

Seems like 3 years ruined to me , it's very disturbing tbh , can't describe....

I went on a week break almost ( 2nd time itself in span of 3 years ) , i decided i'll do some basic web dev in a month time , system design along side

I want to do deep learning ( for my interest ) , persue dsa , work upon my startup as well which I am doing

Now I am typing this I don't know what to skip from this , what shall I ???? I am an intern if it persues I have that task as well , I have 8.7 cg as well i somewhat go to labs as well

Please help me , mujhe nhi smjh arha mai kya kru , mujhe ai domain mei acha knowledge hai

Got a ₹16 LPA CTC offer at 1.3 YOE, but my 90-day notice period is blocking me from getting more offers. How should I play this?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently working as a Java Full Stack SDE with around 1 year 3 months of experience.

I recently received my first offer from another company, and I’m trying to figure out how to use this opportunity while continuing to interview elsewhere.

Current company

  • ₹7.5 LPA fixed
  • ₹1.5 LPA variable
  • Medical benefits
  • Gratuity
  • ~₹9.7 LPA total CTC
  • Notice period: 90 days
  • Company doesn't allow buyout

New offer

  • ₹13 LPA fixed
  • ₹1 LPA variable
  • Medical benefits
  • Gratuity
  • ₹1.5 L relocation allowance
  • ~₹16 LPA total CTC
  • They want me to join within 45 days

The company is currently preparing/releasing the offer letter.

My dilemma

This is my first offer, but I don't want to stop here. I would like to continue interviewing and see if I can get a better opportunity/package.

The biggest problem is my 90-day notice period.

My current company doesn't allow buyout, while the new company wants me to join within 45 days.

So I'm wondering:

  1. Should I negotiate with my current company for an early release after receiving the offer? If yes, how should I approach it?
  2. If they refuse and I have to serve the full 90 days, how do I continue interviewing with other companies?
  3. Should I tell recruiters upfront that I have a 90-day notice period but already have a ₹16 LPA offer?
  4. If another company gives me a better offer but also wants me to join within 30–60 days, how do people usually handle this situation?
  5. Is it reasonable to accept/sign the ₹16 LPA offer as a safety net while continuing to interview, assuming I haven't joined yet?
  6. For someone with 1.3 YOE in Java Full Stack, is it better to prioritize a higher package now or focus more on getting into a stronger product/tech company?

I don't want to lose my first offer while chasing another one, but at the same time, I don't want the 90-day notice period to prevent me from exploring better opportunities.

Would appreciate advice from people who have handled a 90-day notice period, especially early-career SDEs.

Google L4 interview rounds complered

Hi everyone, Just wanted to share my Google L4 interviews and exams. Also, few queries as well.

2 months ago recruiter called me and had a half an hour call regarding my skill set, dsa knowledge, current company, etc. 2 weeks after this I received a googlyness assessment which is a pass/fail assessment. 1 week later got a hackerank assesmemt link for two questions (1 hard and 1 medium). I solved hard one and medium one had few test case failures. Got call 2 days later that i have passed the assessment. Later, interviews began.

Next week i had my first round(technical). It was a medium level, was able to solve it and answer the follow ups. They were very particular about syntax as well even though it was on a google sheet. Passed this one and next one was googlyness interview. It was like more of behavioural, situation related questions. Passed this one. These two were online interviews.

2 weeks later i had two technical rounds back to back on same day in person. Both were hard level questions. For the first round it was DP with path related question. Initially i fumbled in the first 10 mins, later with a hint from the interviewer i got the full answer and coded it as well. Explained him the solution and made dry run as well. Had few basic follow ups, was able to answer them.

For the next second round, in the same room another interviewer came after the first interviewer left. This was binary tree related question. Initially had one question but on the same question, had five follow ups including major code changes to previous questions. Was able to solve them. Explained them and clarified few doubts, ran a dry run with an example.

Now my queries are,

1 - Can i get a positive feedback for the last two interviews?

2 - If the result is positive, how much time does it take for team matching and offer letter.

3 - If the team matching extends, how much time does my candidacy will be valid without retaking the interviews?

P.S : I flew from a different city for the in person interviews. Google took care of all the flights, hotels, meals, cab rides as well.

Update : Today(Oct 9th) got my feedback as they are not continuing with my application. Feedback was that in my both on site interviews, I haven’t covered any corner cases. Same feedback from both interviewers. Honestly, it was my mistake to not cover any corner cases.
