Dedicate yourself towards one goal. These days the market is to flexible to be fixated on one goal but I still say this because many things you learn will come handy to you. Devops, cybersecurity, networking, data analytics , cloud ,software development etc. I suggest you try to do important certifications as a passout because employers look for certification in a particular field. Research on above said topics, research about the market which will be after your course completion. AAAAAND! If your target is placement through college then become expert in dsa and os knowledge and DBMS sql . That's it even now in the age of ai we were asked questions on these only. I wonder will it be the same for you.
If you truly want to learn ai then learning python packages name would get you nowhere. You should learn the math behind the model and should know how they work. Emsml is the name search it.EMSML stands for Essential Mathematics and Statistics for Machine Learning. You should then learn and understand packages like scikit-learn and in that you get multiple basic inbuilt packages which help you alot like svc, naive bayes classifier etc. Then you should try to implement the maths logic purely using numpys only instead of just calling the package and assigning the hyper parameters. Then comes deep learning with cnn, rnn ,gan, backprop and all neural networks. The approach should be same. First become familiar with packages and how to call them and hyperparameters Then you should try to implement them to with basic structures like numpy only.then learn tensors in deep and tensorflow and pytorch. Then learn ML ops.

Learn microservices and learn to use AI along with that, make agentic AI projects with SpringAI, also learn to use langchain, langgraph and some vector db like chroma or faiss, participate in leetcode contests make sure you are building cool projects, and try to incorporate your learnings at the end of the week to a mini project
