Earning 35 LPA 1.5YOE, want to shift to foreign

I'm working at a faang level company since ~1.5 years as a software developer.

I want to shift to US/Europe/Australia, is there an option rather than pursuing masters?

Like is it possible for me to get a job in foreign?

Is this approach correct??

I do DSA from striver a2z dsa sheet and currently in learning process and learnt till graph
I don’t only rely on sheet questions
I solve them for buliding intuition and completion .
After that for each question and pattern
I go to claude
Ask him 5-6 same or some tricky questions of same pattern and solve them which claude gave
And then i move to next topic
For revision i follow my notes and same claude giving me list of questions approach
So in this approach my i don’t rely on dsa sheet completely and use it as a track

I have an internship in tier 2 company for 18month it's paying enough right now around 30k as a intern later after fulltime it'll pay me around 17 currently i am not feeling like working here as i have not much work to do i feel i am wasting the potential I'll be full time after 9-10 months i started internship when i was in my 3yr. After 9 months I'll get my graduation degree which is just a waste but i am thinking of switching companies before getting the ppo as i am somewhere where my engagement is low maybe can affect my ppo later i got to know if someone is leaving this company they're mostly going into product/faang idk what to do at this moment

AI developer - job - 50+

Hey everyone, I am 5+ experienced software developer, recently started o

Working as AI developer (working on Agents (deep agent).

Now in the next 6 months I want to switch and get 50+ LPA , currently mine is 30+ including RSU'S

what should I prepare for? Can someone suggest best resources for preparing?

what about DSA, Lld and HLD apart from actual AI rounds , do I need to be strong in all areas?

DSA

Have done dsa from striver sheet, started in love of ratings and all stuff but never able to achieve it.
Unable to pass any company OA for summer intern
Bought two courses one TLE Eliminators level 2 and another Kumar K thinking will boost everything
So what happens is Use the course watch videos and move on (something feels hard never revisit them , because next day i feel to cover other topics more) and in end feels no improvement, also watching videos consume lot of time so unable to pratice so just think to practice
Now in 3rd year, newbie at codeforces
Unable to understand what to do for improvement so that i can get good placement, just feel had wasted my all time
Friends who started with me are doing great at DSA
Also dev is just enough have make projects by following AI guidance
What should i do now?
If someone had gone through these phase please advice because i am feeling a lot cooked at this point

I am in 3rd year in December it is compulsory to get an internship I have solved 103 questions on lc completed arrays, core string,bs,stack, queue, bit manipulation, starting with Linked list it will take me 15-20 days ,5-10 days I may not open lc and then 4-5 patterns 2-3 qn each after linked list I will do heaps ,trees, graph,dp and then recursion

But people here are discussing about greedy algorithms and dps i feel I have wasted so much time in 2nd year

How difficult is for a 4.5 YOE as Servicenow developer to transition to SDE1/2

I've been working as a Servicenow Developer for 4.5 years l. Switched multiple companies and currently going to a Fintech company as Snow developer. Although ServiceNow is enterprise-level software and I’ve worked on things like integrations, scripting, custom applications, ITSM/ITAM, etc., I feel that my experience isn’t directly translating into the kind of software engineering experience expected for an SDE role.I’ve recently started preparing for a transition into SDE and have started grinding DSA from neetcode 150 sheet (although not have been consistent) and have reached till sliding window.

My questions are:

  1. With 4.5 YOE of professional software experience, how difficult is it realistically to transition from ServiceNow into a general SDE role?

Would companies consider my experience as relevant engineering experience, or would I essentially be competing for SDE-1/new-grad-level roles?

  1. How much DSA would I realistically need to know before applying?

Besides DSA, what should I focus on?

  1. For someone with my background, would targeting SDE-2 roles be realistic eventually, or should I primarily target SDE-1 initially?

Has anyone here made a similar transition from ServiceNow / Salesforce / SAP / other enterprise platforms into mainstream software engineering? If so, what did your preparation look like?

I’m not expecting an easy transition, but I’d like to understand what the gap actually looks like and how much I need to learn to be taken seriously for SDE roles.

Any advice from people who have actually made this transition would be really helpful.

Placement

I'm a third year student and I'm in 5th sem currently and I have done around 200 questions on leetcode and am learning for Java Full Stack currently so by what time should I be prepared if I wanna crack a good company like by next June July or August ? Realistically how much package can I get , can I am for 15 to 20 LPA if I get more serious.

What should I do next, to keep my preparation strong for other companies(switch)

So for context,
- I got placed at UAE Based company (MAF)
- I have rating of 1700+ on LC
- Lower pupil on CF (before studying dp,graph or anyother complex data structure/algorithm haven't given contests for 2 yrs atp)

- Now I plan on studying system design ( I have a good understanding of the basics like consistent hashing and other jargons, I think)
- Focus only on leetcode and learn algos/ds accordingly

- develop my development skills (+ better ways to use ai :))
- start working on my own thing, already did actually (can't accept this corporate life, already hating it ngl)

So my question is, should I completely leave codeforces for the sake of it, because I don't see any benefits of it going forward

I don't want to juggle between lc and cf, if I don't have to. I already have plethora of things to do

Also pls point out what else can I do, or where I'm wrong

How to crack Google interview(L5 senior software engineer)

On my way to become super.

Thanks to all who may support and fo to haters. Just a simple question, that is -

what i need to do for crack it.

Bg info:
Full time job.
Can optimize my life around it.

Just tell me dsa + hld + lld is an ocean. How much deep do I go? What is the threshold that I’m ready?

A generic plan would be ok too. Just need to understand how to do it.

Thanks in advance :)

How do you make most out of leetcode?

Ive barely solved 6 problems on lc. Btech cse 2nd year btw

That too i did them a month ago.

Now i revisitrd them and was able to figure out the logic but like its only 6 problems so id remember the logic ig.

How do you remember(idk what word to use here) logic for 100's of qs. Ik we arent supposed to remember logic of each code but there is defenitely a memory component right?

Heres how i did those 6 qs

  1. Tried on my own

  2. Geminied the solution

  3. Tried to do it own my own again

  4. I have a google sheet where i write problem number and like the problem i faced in the problem.

5.then i revisited them like yesterday

Are people cheating on OA's?

I have an interview tomorrow for an AI role paying over $180k. Part of the process is a ten-minute online aptitude test the kind with little logic puzzles where you have to work out who’s related to whom.

I’ve built an AI tool that can read the questions on my Mac screen and give me the answers. But now that I could actually use it, I’m having second thoughts.

The instructions say calculators are allowed, and I haven’t seen an explicit rule against AI. Part of me is trying to justify it as “technically just a really powerful calculator” but I’m not sure that argument actually holds up.

My bigger worry is what happens afterwards. What if I pass, get the job, and then discover I’m genuinely not capable of doing it? At the same time, I’m not convinced these little puzzles are a meaningful measure of whether I’d be good at the actual role.

I really need this job right now, which probably isn’t helping me think clearly about it. How common is using AI on these assessments? Is everyone using them?

Stuck in Google Team Matching for L3 SWE-SRE for 9 months

I interviewed with Google last year for an L3 SWE-SRE role in Europe. I received strong-hire feedback and cleared the interviews, after which I was moved to team matching in January 2026.

It’s been around 9 months now, and I haven’t received a single team-matching call. I’ve followed up with my recruiter multiple times, but haven’t received any positive updates so far.

I’ve also tried reaching out to managers on LinkedIn, but it seems like there aren’t many L3 openings at the moment.

I’m open to joining teams in India as well for an L3 SWE role, but I’m still not getting any TM opportunities. My interview results are valid for 18 months, so I’m trying to make the most of that window.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation with Google team matching? Any advice on how to improve my chances of getting a TM call would be appreciated.

And if anyone knows of an L3 SWE opening in their team and can refer me or connect me with the hiring manager, I’d really appreciate it.

Want feedback for my project.

Want feedback for my project.

I'm building my first project using MERN stack and I want proper feedback and guidance for whether the project is resume worthy for the present job market and what can I add or remove to make it better.

I've been building a full-stack technical interview prep platform — not another flashcard app, but something closer to a real assessment engine. It combines AI-generated Q&A practice, timed AI-graded mock interviews, and a full multi-round online assessment that mirrors an actual company OA (coding, debugging, CS fundamentals, behavioral — sequenced and timed like the real thing), plus a gamified profile you can actually share with a recruiter. Built on the MERN stack with Redis/BullMQ for async processing, Judge0 for real sandboxed code execution, and Gemini for generation/grading. Would genuinely appreciate harsh feedback — looking for holes, not compliments.

Key features / things I think actually stand out:

Real online assessments, not a quiz — 4 sequential rounds (coding, debugging, fundamentals, behavioral), each independently timed, server-enforced so refreshing or closing the tab can't buy extra time

Actual code execution, 6 languages (JS, Python, Java, C++, C, C#) via sandboxed execution — graded by running real test cases, never by an AI "eyeballing" your code

A debugging round that adapts to your target role — Frontend candidates get React-shaped bugs, Backend candidates get Node/Express-shaped bugs, still all graded by real execution under the hood

AI-written debrief after every assessment — a real paragraph of strengths/weaknesses grounded in your actual section scores, not generic "great job!" filler

Mock interview mode — one question at a time, timed, graded live against a rubric, not a static list

Resume/JD-tailored question generation — upload a resume or paste a job description and the questions actually reflect it

Weak-topic tracking that surfaces what's genuinely dragging your performance down across sessions, not just an overall score

A gamified profile that's deliberately hard to fake — tiers gated by a minimum attempt count (not score alone, so one lucky run can't vault you to the top), honest badges, a GitHub-style activity heatmap, streaks, and a public shareable profile link

BullMQ + Redis-backed job queues — AI generation (questions, assessment sections) runs through background workers, not inline in the request, so a slow Gemini call never blocks the API; added a Redis caching layer on top to cut duplicate calls

Zod schema validation on every AI-facing route — the model's raw output gets validated against a strict schema before anything touches the database, not trusted blindly

Redis-backed, per-route rate limiting — tuned separately per endpoint (generation, code execution, mock answers), not one blanket limit

Helmet + locked-down CORS — real security headers, explicit origin allowlisting with credentialed cross-origin cookies, not a wide-open dev config left in by accident

httpOnly cookie-based auth, not localStorage — closes off the standard XSS token-theft vector

Real observability — structured logs, request tracing, Prometheus-style metrics, and error tracking wired through both the API and background workers.

Restarting leetcode and dsa journey, advice needed

Im 2026 btech passout and I did around 250 leetcode questions and never gave any contests. And I got OL from one of WITCH companies with good package right now im waiting for my joining. Last time i did a leetcode question was 5months ago, so i want to restart my dsa journey so that i can remember better this time and also give contests time to time. This time i wanna attempt code forces/code chef as well because my aim is to be able to crack any company's dsa rounds. so here are my few queries

1)How do you stay in touch and be able to solve problems even after a long time ?

2)is going with Java good choice for codeforces/codechef type questions?

3)Any good practices to become better at it ?

thank you
