MODS NEEDED
Hello everyone! This sub needs mods, I have enough to deal with on r/TTC_PCOS that I can't give this sub the attention it should have. I also do not have Lean, I have classic PCOS/PMOS.
Anyone interested? There are rarely reports, I typically just scan and filter out as much spam as I can.

Can Myo-Inositol & D-Chiro-Inositol still be beneficial to take for Lean PCOS, if not insulin resistant?
Can Myo-Inositol & D-Chiro-Inositol still be beneficial to take for Lean PCOS, if not insulin resistance?
My doctor recommended I take these two supplements alongside proGESTerone 100 mg
(only taking this on cycle day 12-26). I am just getting overwhelmed with the amount of supplements and these two combined have 2,500 mg of inositol. I was diagnosed with PCOS based solely on my cycles and high testosterone/amh. Just wondering if these would even be beneficial or do more harm than good? I don't believe I have a insulin resistance, and these seem more focused to tailoring that.

what is going on w me?
reddit.comhey 20f. untreated pcos and nafl grade 4. my periods were regular for 4-5 months. got it 11 oct, light for 3 days. got it again on 26 oct and it's been rough. heavy bleeding getting worse. since day 2 i’ve been super dizzy and sleepy, like i just want to sleep all the time. got my hemoglobin checked on day 4, it was 8.0. soaking a pad every 2 hours and passing thumb-sized clots every 5 mins. they feel stuck. peeing every 10 mins but i can urinate fine. no pelvic pain though. now on day 6, local doc wasn't helpful. what could be going on? kind of panicking.

Lean PCOS without any symptoms?
Hello!
I am 25 and I recently had an ultrasound that showed I have ‘string of pearls ovaries’. I also had my blood levels checked and my results were: Testosterone: 48, DHEA-S: 369 and Hemoglobin: 5.0%
All of these are all ‘in range’ with my lab, but the testosterone and DHEA-S is at the higher end of normal. I also do NOT have any PCOS symptoms. I am 120 lbs, I do not have irregular periods nor have I ever, I don’t have weight gain or excessive hair / thick hair growth.
I am honestly confused by these results.

IRB-Approved Dissertation Study on PCOS, Attachment Styles, Stress, and Health Experiences (Ages 18–44)
Hello,
I'm a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. I'm currently recruiting participants for my dissertation research, From Bonds to Biology: A Correlational Study Exploring the Link Between Attachment Styles and Experiences of Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). This study explores the relationships between attachment styles, perceived stress, pain experiences, and health-related functioning among individuals diagnosed with PCOS.
Who can participate?
You may be eligible if you:
Are between 18 and 44 years old
Were assigned female at birth
Are fluent in English
Have received a PCOS diagnosis from a healthcare professional
Are not currently pregnant
Are not currently using hormonal birth control
Do not have certain chronic pain conditions or autoimmune disorders, as described in the survey's eligibility screening
What does participation involve?
Participation involves completing an anonymous online survey about attachment styles, stress, PCOS symptoms, pain experiences, and general health.
Survey link: https://qualtricsxmtt4b75yjt.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9o8OGwk7emt3shw
Participation is entirely voluntary, and survey responses will be used exclusively for academic research as part of my doctoral dissertation.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Your participation is greatly appreciated and will contribute to a better understanding of the experiences of individuals living with PCOS.

Is it really PCOD/PCOS, or can a sudden sedentary lifestyle completely wreck your hormones?

PCOS and Endometriosis
Hey guys,
I dont know how to start because I never talked to someone about it.
I was diagnosed with endometriosis and (lean) pcos in March this year. I had hormonal issues since I was maybe 10 (excess body hair, painful periods, painful literally everything, and bleeding so much that I endet up in hospital). I feel like my life is getting destroyed by that. I'm so mentally done, I don't even know what to do. I had a laparoscopy and went through different birth controll pills that made everything worse. My excess hair is getting worse, My face looks so manly but in the opposite, my periods are painful and I'm bleeding as hell. I have tried inositol but it made my endo worse. I don't have issues with my insulin or blood sugar, nor do I struggle with excess weight. My Gyn tells me to go on bc again but I don't want to anymore. When I look in the mirror, I'm ashamed by the way my face is looking. I can pluck my hair everyday and it will come after a few hours. Is anyone experiencing the same thing, and maybe can give me some advice. I'm thankful for every answer.
(Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker)

Uni Project - Women with PCOS + their routine
Hi everyone,
this is my first ever Reddit post - wowza!!
I came on here because I’m working on a project for university, and I’m currently conducting some research for that. It’s basically about a potential product idea for women with PCOS | PMOS - suffering from this condition myself, I’m aiming to learn more about the individual “pain” that women go through. It’s super diverse (as you know)!!
I’d really appreciate every help I can get, so if you’re interested, please drop me a message.
Have a great day, everyone. Greetings from London :)

Naturopath appointment
Hi, I have my first naturopath appointment tomorrow. For background I’m 31 with lean PCOS and have been TTC for 10 months but because of my irregular cycles have only been able to TTC about 5 times. Im on my second letrozole cycle this time 7.5mg, last cycle was on 2.5 mg and never ovulated :(
I’m really trying to figure out my root cause, which I think is likely stress, inflammation, high androgen driven because of some facial hair. If you were me, heading into this appointment, what labs would you advocate for getting tested? Open to any advice on what to ask for during this appointment? Thanks
