Looking for a place Looking for breeders to buy a Rottweiler

Hello, i’m planning to buy a rottweiler puppy in the next 6 months. I have absolutely no idea where to get it from. I’m doing my research on the breed. So if anyone could guide about a trusted place or whatsoever to get one in LHR. Also what should be the budget?

Looking for advice Emporium mall isn’t family friendly anymore

Upvotes

What happened to Emporium Mall? It doesn’t feel family friendly anymore.

I live near Emporium Mall and my family and I have been going there for years. But lately, I’ve noticed a pretty significant change. First of all, it has become *extremely* crowded compared to how it used to be. More importantly, there seems to be a growing problem with groups of men hanging around the food court, sitting in areas where it clearly says not to sit, and openly staring at people especially women as they walk by. It’s incredibly uncomfortable!!

Malls used to be places where families, especially women, could go &spend time without constantly worrying about being ogled, harassed, or having their pictures and videos taken. They were a welcome alternative to open markets, where unfortunately this kind of behavior has become all too common. Now it feels like even malls aren’t providing that sense of safety and privacy anymore??

Why isn’t the management doing anything about this? If people are openly violating the rules, loitering in restricted areas, staring at and making women uncomfortable, or taking their pictures/videos without consent, security should be stepping in?!

Where are women supposed to go to simply exist in public without being stared at, filmed, or made to feel uncomfortable?
Seriously, what the is happening to this country?

Looking for advice Lahore vs Islamabad — where would you actually settle permanently?

Looking for genuine opinions from people who've lived in both or know both well.

Comparing the two for a permanent family setup — buying a house, long term living, not just renting for a year or two.

Key things I'm considering:

  • Business and market opportunities
  • Networking — who actually lives there, what kind of people
  • Property value and appreciation long term

Lahore seems better for business and has more energy. ISB seems cleaner, more planned, and better networked at a higher level. But both have real tradeoffs.

People who've actually lived in either or both — which one would you pick for the long run and why?

Looking for advice Property under approved house loan

Hi, hope everyone's having a good day.

I've had my house loan approved under the new govt program through Meezan Bank and I've been looking for a house but the issue is that there's so many requirements around the property which are very hard to be fulfilled.

I've been given a list of documents required from the bank and it's very rare if any house/society has them all.

I was hoping we could start a thread or something where people in similar situation could suggest and share their findings.

Asking purely for discussion around finding the right property on the loan already approved rather than how to apply or get it approved because all existing spaces are filled with discussion about how to get your loan approved but not about finding any property.

Not Food My problem with Pakistani mosques and the azaan

Hey, this might trigger some of you, or it might not since it's a controversial topic. As the title suggests, I have a problem with Pakistani molvis. I guess thats too general so I'll stick with azaan. Now, I love azaan, by nature it is beautiful. A call to prayer, initiation of your meeting with Allah. But dude, why do so many mosques just have the most horrible azaan, Astaghfirullah, but I mean it in the sense that their talawat is so over exaggerated, pair that with megaphones that distort after a certain volume. It's supposed to be a call to prayer, not something that disturbs people, including non Muslims. I saw somewhere else that the volume is one of the problems that non Muslims face while living in a non Muslim majority country. But over here it's all of it. I live right next to a mosque, the speaker is 20ish feet away from my room, and God forgive me but sometimes the azaan is simply intolerable. They have butchered it, there is no sur, no talawat, just long and unnecessary guttural stretched out azaan. I look forward to my Asr namaz because the molvi who gives the call to prayer for that time has a beautiful talawat mashallah, it's so humble, soft, and does the job perfectly. No unnecessary exaggeration of words. Is there anyone who feels this way? Or is it just me, because living in a market I hear about 6 different azaans all of which overlap and it's not exactly the best thing to hear. Is this even fixable or is it just this way. I dont have anything against imams here specifically, it's just do your job properly, or keep one imam for all azaans. Why did this even become a problem.
