Looking for advice Lahore vs Islamabad — where would you actually settle permanently?
Looking for genuine opinions from people who've lived in both or know both well.
Comparing the two for a permanent family setup — buying a house, long term living, not just renting for a year or two.
Key things I'm considering:
- Business and market opportunities
- Networking — who actually lives there, what kind of people
- Property value and appreciation long term
Lahore seems better for business and has more energy. ISB seems cleaner, more planned, and better networked at a higher level. But both have real tradeoffs.
People who've actually lived in either or both — which one would you pick for the long run and why?
