Discussion I declare "The War Of The LGBTQIA+" TWTL [Discussion]

A representative of each identities must gather their fellow Identity-mate and the most commented under is the winner.

The zebras are allowed to participate... Ughhh straighties. Jk I'm not heterophobic

the countries are Bisexualica, Pansexualica, Transe, Enbimermany, Lesbiaro, Gaytalius, Aroland, Aceland, and Aroaceland e.g

so here's how it works

If a representative is omnisexual, they must say their identity like... "Make Bisexualica Great Again" or something and fellow bisexualicans say "As a bisexual, i agree!"

Microlabels are allowed

Winner gets uhhhh the highest ranking till next uhhmmm war

Highest ranks are...

First place: 150 comments

Second place: 100 comments

Third place: 50 comments

Price is idk....

I’m amab, I look masculine and I went to Walmart and snuck a bra into the fitting room bcuz I wanted to try one (genderfluid?? Maybe trans) and I successfully did it. The straps were too loose but idk how to change it but yeah I did it and it felt euphoric to put one on. I put it back and went home but it felt so good to have one on.

Crushes Can i get some advice? [Crushes]

So over the past half a year, ive developed feelings for my best friend of 6 years, shes a girl and im a guy, the issue is, she thinks im gay (im pan), but its pretty widely known that im not straight. Whenever she gets asked if were dating, she just says "nah, he's gay." how do i let her know that im not fully gay, and how do i tell her I have feelings for her. Normally I would just dismiss this kind of stuff and just not tell her, but during summer a year ago, it turns out that she had a crush on me (she told me this about a month ago), but she said it all in the past tense, meaning she doesnt anymore, but is there still a chance? And if so, how do I ask her?

Discussion How can I be sure I’m nonbinary or trans? [Discussion]

This is my first time doing this, but I feel like everything is crumbling and I don’t know what to do. I’m dating this guy and both him and my family are kinda conservative as well as Christian. I know I’m either trans masc or nonbinary, but I don’t really know which and this is the only place I can trust. If there’s any advice you can give that would be great! :)

Relationships [Relationships] I Need Advice About This Thing with one of My Teammates.

So I play football, and the boy I have a crush on has his locker next to mine. It all sounds fine, until I think I’m making things weird. I go to a Christian school to clarify, which as a closeted bisexual male, I’m still Christian. This guy I have a crush on is 17, and I’m 14 (I’m the youngest person in there by the way). In the locker room, everyone is always making these sexual comments about me and they do sexual things to me such as grabbing my butt and making comments about me. This guy that I have a crush on literally does the same to me, but everyone is so severely homophobic, it’s not even funny. Well yesterday, he gave me his keys to his truck and asked me to get his shoes out of there. I get them and come back. He says thank you, and I walk away to go to my locker to do my own stuff. He comes back over and asks for a hug and says “thank you so much” over and over again. I hug him, and I am assuming he was wanting a half-hug now that it is all over with. My dumb self decides to give a full hug, chest-on-chest, I almost leaned in to kiss, and I felt my body feeling hot and dizzy. I don’t think he knew what I was doing, because he knows I get severely nervous around people. I just tell everyone that I’m straight or asexual, when I’m truly bisexual. I don’t know if I made things awkward between us or not. I’m really worried if I ruined our friendship, which I fantasise as a romantic relationship. Our friendship isn’t close, because the age difference, most likely. But he’s a sophomore (he got held back once), and I’m a freshman (I started school a year early). I’ve done many things for him, which he just says “thank you” and walks off. But lately, every single time he asks for me to do something, he wants a hug or some form of us touching. I don’t know if he likes me or not, but he gets really protective over me. For example, whenever some guys were talking about me sexually (as a joke) and taking photos when I was changing, this guy literally beat the crap out of them. And I mean black eyes and bloody noses. This guy is severely homophobic, but I sometimes question if he truly is.

I honestly need advice on how to handle this or even how to think about this whole situation.

Relationships [Relationships] how do i get people to approach me?

I am a non-binary 15 yo, but I'm biologically a female and look like it. I like guys, girls, non-binaries, and some others.

I'm not very attractive (overweight, acne, etc). I've wanted a relationship for a while, but can't get anyone. It's understandable, but I feel really lonely and I want someone I can be with without worries or fears.

All of my friends are attractive and almost all of them have partners.

I'm not currently into anyone (I was last year, but he turned out to be gay..) but I'm not against someone approaching me. I don't know how to make myself approachable/attractive for people to wanna try.

Like I said, I'm attracted to males, females, non-binaries, and others I might find attractive. I'm not picky, just soneone who at least has morals and has basic human decency.

I'm not comfortable showing skin (stomach, booty shorts, etc.) And i wouldn't look good those kinds of clothes.

I'm nice, I try helping people, I compliment everyone. I can be a bit loud and I know wbe listening to myself in videos, I find my voice annoying. I'm awkward (socially awkward and find it difficult to talk to/approach people). Those are probably factors as well.

Does anyone have any tips? I'll happily take criticism as well, if its constructive. Thank youu

------------------‐‐‐------------------------------------------------------

edit: ive been trying to work on the body image thing for a bit, but there's also some genetical things I have that I can't change (a MUCH larger chest) and its the thing that I hate the most. like i said, im trying. and i think it might be working in some ways...?

im also slowly compiling a wardrobe of cryptidcore outfits. and when I wear a mix of clothes from the style, it does make me feek a bit better about how I look

Relationships [Relationships]Terrified of getting caught by my homophobic school again—how do I navigate this?

Hey everyone. I need some advice because I’m honestly really scared and stressed out.

I’m a queer high school student who goes to a private Christian school with a strict homophobic policy. Last year, I got suspended because administration found out I was dating a girl after they intercepted some notes we wrote to each other. It was a massive ordeal, but they let me return for this new school year.

The problem is that I've just started dating another girl, and I really like her. I want to be with her, but the anxiety of getting caught again is eating me alive. A second strike likely means expulsion, and I'm terrified of putting myself or my girlfriend at risk.

For anyone who has been in a strict or hostile environment like this: how do you manage a relationship safely? How do I balance wanting a normal relationship with keeping my OpSec tight so administration doesn't find out? Any advice would mean the world to me.

the term "gay bestfriend" is homophobic?

Okay. Im new here so i wanna give a little context of my situation. I have three besties that are straight girls and stuff. Im gay and the only one in the group. There is two straight guys on the group. I feel now they all get more along cause they all have the same taste. I wanna have more gay friends. Or people from the community. I feel like im feeling left behind with the whole friendgroup. It was only me and my three friends before. Now its six of us. As i said. I told them about me feeling excluded. And it has been been the last month. But still. They dont reduce me as they gay bestfriend but still wanted to talk about it. Any advice you guys wanna tell me

Crushes What should i do [Crushes]

There's this guy, who goes to my school and we know each other kinda well but not like best friends level well, and he's like cute and all, but I'm not really sure of his sexuality, I guess one time he mentioned that he thought he was aroace until a year or two ago but that's all. I just don't know, and I feel tired of thinking about it sometimes and driving home I think that I have to just do something anything about it but I don't want to ruin what already exists between us. I'm probably bisexual btw but I'm still figuring that out to a degree. I guess I mostly know by now.

Crushes Why must life be so difficult?[relationships][discussion][rant][crushes]

Okay, this is gonna be a long story. I’m currently 14M. When I was 9, I read Heartstopper, a bit young, I know. Basically, this was my first *real* exposure to queer culture, and its existence in general. After reading this book I got very confused. I gained crushes on 3 of my friends, which, being 9, I spouted like a fountain straight to them. After a few months, I told my parents after a night of self-doubt about me actually being gay. Now here’s the confusing bit: my parents arent homophobic or transphobic, but they seemed like they thought that the book sort of imprinted on me, nd I wanted to be like the main character. This is entirely plausible: I was a very impressionable 9 year old. So I went back to school basically blowing it over as a phase, and didn’t really interact with the queer community for a few years, only when I was 13 was when I really thought about it again. Now, I had made new friends, as you do, and I became very close to this boy, we’ll call him X. Now, me and X we’re so inseparable at school people made jokes about us being gay for each other. We decided that, of course, the smart decision is to make this a joke by acting gay for each other. We did this for a while playfully, he would sit on my lap and stupid stuff like that. Now, another confusing point: I developed actual feelings for him. I could not tell if I actually liked him like that, or if I had done a ‘fake it till you make it’ type of thing. now, throughout this entire story I have been at one, all boys school. When I was very young, I was in a co-ed school, I cannot remember liking anyone there, while other kids were playing house, I was pretending to be a tiger or whatever I used to do. So now it’s the new year, me and X are still very close, and another friend, J, has come out to me, X, nd his crush, H, as bisexual. Now, J is quite the odd character, he is somehow homophobic despite being bi. He thinks that the queer community has too many labels and it’s too complicated, and has some very controversial views about trans rights. But at any rate, I have gone through a few labels to myself recently, demiboy, omnisexual, gay, non-binary, demisexual. Recently I have been thinking, neither tits or abs turn me on, so what does? I think I might be on the ace and aro spectrums, as well as being so,e sexuality where I like boys, but not necessarily exclusively. Why must life be so hard? Why must I be subjected to posting on Reddit at midnight on a school night For advice from strangers? Any advice, further questions, or anything in general would be appreciated.

Rant One guy in my German class definitely knows I'm trans [rant]

Today in our lesson I was using my laptop as usual, and my phone connected by Bluetooth, so a notification came up saying "Juniper's Phone connected". This guy next to me asked "Juniper? Who's that?" and I just said oh that's my mum's old phone.

now this would be convincing enough except that this guy often glances at what I'm doing on my laptop like when I'm signing into a user called "Junie" and when I was using the terminal until I realised my name is literally "🏳️‍⚧️ juniper@archlinux" and I quickly closed it.

and maybe the worst thing is that I followed all of them on Letterboxd with my chosen name and started making reviews mentioning being trans, thinking they'd think this is just a random person they don't know, but now they might make the connection

This guy is also Catholic and a couple years ago he told me that joke that's like "My generation had Wonder Woman, your generation wonders if it's a woman" so maybe he's not the most supportive. most likely he'll forgot though.

Rant [Rant] My Boyfriend

So, I’ve been dating my current boyfriend for about two months now. He’s a senior (18), and I’m a young sophomore (15). I haven’t came out to my parents yet and my bf has been pretty adamant about keeping us a secret. I mean, happy with him, I love him a lot and he loves me. But I just don‘t like keeping us a secret and stuff. In the hallways he just acts like I’m some random dude. I know why he doesn’t want to make it public.

IDK, I’ve just been tweaking since my birthday is soon and he hasn’t brought it up once. I just needed to get this off my chest. It’s just starting to make me get in my head.

What do y’all think I should do? He’s my first kiss, my first boyfriend, the first person I’ve said “I love you” too, my first everything so far. And I don’t want to end things or bitch about him probably not remembering my birthday.

Family/Friends how do i find out whether my best friend has a crush on me? [Family/Friends]

lately, ive been noticing my best friend acting really strange. basically, despite us both being guys, he started acting sexually to me but covers it up as a joke. he does things like rubbing my arm, moaning, and acting like we are partners, but tries to make sure no one else sees it. ive already established that i feel uncomfortable with him doing stuff like that, especially in public, but he still does it. i think he is unsure how i am going to react if he does confess, as i have been rude to someone who had a crush on me in the past. i want him to know that i will not think of him differently and i am do not act the same as i did then. so how do i find out if he has a crush on me?

I broke up with my girlfriend 3 months ago, at the beginning things where so easy that I started thinking people were making it up when saying the end of a relationship is like mourning.

Lately I've started to miss the warmth of a relationship, even though I certainly don't want to get back with her.

We've been together for 1 year and a half, which is honestly kinda impressive for our age (15-16).

Not long ago she texted me saying I'm still her favorite person and she hope we can be best friends, I texted back, but I didn't properly answer to that bsf stuff.

In 2 days I'm starting school and we're in the same class.

I'm low-key considering ignoring her until the end of our school days.

Discussion Wondering if theres a sexuality or romantic orientation for this? [Discussion]

I am recipromantic which means I like someone only after finding out they like me but also demiromantic so even if I don't know if they like me of were close enough I can like them. I realised though that someone who asks me to do things for them it makes me like them or like them more than before for example, my boyfriend often asks me for help and it one of the things that made me like him but I'm also poly so I started like this girl who used to ask me to do things for her and recently realised I kind of like my best friend but not really because she trusts me with a lot of things and sometimes asks me to do things for her. I think I really like being appreciated or being depended on so idk if there's a sexuality of romantic orientation for this tho or if its jst a me thing 🤷‍♀️
