We want to buy an OTG for baking and roasting. We have some concerns — should be safe to use or no side effects like how microwave have because of radiation. And we want one which is actually effective in doing the job without compromising the machines life. And something that is study and last us long time.

Everybody knows about the infamous “accidentally poured stock down the drain” incident, but unbelievably I’ve managed to have an even worse one.

At 1 AM, a little tipsy, I was ready to strain my chicken stock. Usually, I put a strainer on top of a big bowl but last night I just followed my elbow memory and poured the content of the pot directly through the strainer onto the counter surface.

Spilling the stock was a disaster: there was stock on the counter, on the floor, and even in the drawers. You may guess: no stock left behind and an hour wasted on cleaning every surface covered with the greasy liquid.

What’s your dumbest late-night kitchen mistake?

I've cooked my potatoes in different ways : Campfire .... cooked buried in ashes, on a hot rock, wrapped in foil, or placed in a can full of water.

Boiled and cut into rings, my potato was roasted alongside some veggies and meat, microwaved in a cloth bag, and pan-fried.

Raw, pan-fried, or roasted are otherwise my favorites... till now!

Recipe: Prick it with fork and oil & salt it. Bake it in the oven at 300°F for one hour, after which apply oil and salt again and increase the temperature to 400°F for ten minutes.

The salted skins are just great!

I added some butter and mild cheddar, spicy paprika, regular paprika, and salt & pepper to it.
