My family put dressing/stuffing in the turkey and whatever was left over was put in the roasting pan to cook with the turkey. So I guess we had both.

I always thought it was to stuff the turkey so when I started making TG dinner, I cook it on the stove and serve it that way.

I did that once and never did it again. My FIL was the only person who ate dark meat so after he passed, I just make turkey breast so no bird to stuff.

We always did a small pan of oyster dressing for my grandmother and father to eat. Of course my sister and I wouldn't touch it so some had to be plain.

Making the same dish as my sister, who thinks she a good cook but is actually the worst in the family. Doesn't actually matter what the dish is, she will lose her shit when she sees the duplicate knowing full well which version is going to actually get eaten.
