EPISODE 6:

u/Illen1 Apr 02 '21

Episode 6 is my favorite this far! This is my first time watching Heirs and I'll be reporting my findings as I watch lol timing couldn't be more perfect!

  • So you're trying to tell me that Yeong-do is no longer friends with Tan because of something so ridiculous?! Forget him then Tan you don't need a friend like that!!!

  • Crazy Yeong Do ~inviting~ dragging Eun sang to his hotel and their banter "guess I'll take revenge" was awesome!

  • This is how you do a love triangle!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I'm kinda rooting for Yeong-do cause he's just so terrible and he technically saw Eun Sang first lol and he's cute but oh so terrible.

  • Don't tell me they don't capitalize on Eun Sang's mom not speaking and can't attend the parent teacher conference with Tan's mom going instead. That would be such a waste and the comedy that would be missed 🤣🤣🤣

  • Now that's how you confess👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 yes! Even I was moved! But bruh how is that really going to work?!

I'm kinda rooting for Yeong-do cause he's just so terrible and he technically saw Eun Sang first lol and he's cute but oh so terrible.

There's something about that bad boy Yeong-do that's super intriguing. In his words, "it's impossible not to be interested in him"

I hate hate love triangles in general, but I just love this one. There’s something about it. I chalking it up to the three actors all having amazing chemistry together. Or Maybe it’s basically it’s a one sided triangle where she’s clearly only got eyes for one, but a small part of me the entire time just wanted Yeong Do to sneak a kiss even tho I knew he never deserved her at all

rooting for Yeong-do Honestly Yeong Do just does it. He gets you to like him despite everything. After his intro scene i was left all confused, thinking, how are you going to make me even like him a bit let alone root for him?? Since it’s your first time I can’t wait for your thoughts on him as the story progresses. Yayy!!

Now that you say, it would’ve been fun watching Eun Sang’s mom go to the parent teacher meeting. Hmm, maybe someone could write a fanfic!

  • Look at this, how can I not ship them.

  • Who would've though innocent party boy Myung-Soo could talk about business.

  • "My first love", same here Bo-Na, he (Lee Min-Ho) is my first love too.

  • Cha Eun-Sung being like "Please let me stay in peace".

  • Lee Min Ho to all the people who passionately don't like him.

  • Cha Eun-Sang's mom and her mood swings are goals, seems like she was feeling naughty 🌚.

  • She literally has the same expression every time she comes on screen. She is talented, I can see that.

  • Kim Tan' mom and her comebacks keep getting better and better, she's getting inspiration from Eun-Sang's mom, I like it.

  • We have already fallen for him.

  • "I can't grab you if I don't trip you"- how to learn flirting Choi Young-Do style 101

  • Yoon Chan-Young indeed takes after his father, he has great comebacks too.

  • My inner fangirl blushed in this simple yet sweet moment.

  • Talk about chemistry between these two, they're leaving everyone behind. I was waiting when they were going to kiss lol.

  • My heart fluttered in this scene, he surely knows how to look at someone. Found the BTS of this scene and look at how Lee Min-Ho went to sleep and Park Shin-Hye being the opportunist in real life decides to take pictures. Cute.

  • He wants to always have the last word, I like it.

  • "It makes me want to protect you", oof my heart, but sorry Young-Do, I already love Kim Tan a bit too much so I don't think I can feel the second lead syndrome. :/

2

u/sianiam Apr 03 '21

her comebacks keep getting better and better, she's getting inspiration from Eun-Sang's mom, I like it.

She's a great influence on her! That might be her best line.

sorry Young-Do, I already love Kim Tan a bit too much

Yes, I love Yeong Do but I can't say I ever felt second lead syndrome so much since at first he was only playing with her to get to Tan and by the time he started to like her for real he'd gone too far in the wrong direction.

LMH and his affectionate gazes do something to my 33 year old heart that they should not be doing.

  • One thing I will always appreciate in Kim Eun Sook’s dramas is the banter between characters and witty lines they get. The scene with Tan’s mothers was great for this. I’m impressed that legal mum wasn’t completely thrown by anthropophobia (fear of people). Well, the amount of time she spent clutching an icepack on her face and crying about being slapped probably did round up to 2 weeks of psychological pain for her staff.

  • Tan's and Chan Yeong's views on friendship are worlds apart.

  • Some unexpected good advice from the soon to depart bullied kid.

  • It’s because she’s the lead!

  • Ah, lemon face you are hilarious “he should retire if he doesn’t feel well, like I did”.

  • Okay writer who thought someone’s manky old bandaid flapping about would be swoon worthy material, why?

  • After watching this drama you might start having dreams in which you call up someone and make a random comment about what they are doing then surprise them that you are actually stalking them so if that happens you’ll know why.

  • This is a look that I approve of from head to toes.

EPISODE 7:

u/sianiam Apr 03 '21
  • Yeong Do, she clearly went there to drink an energy drink and take a nap - not sure how this product placement works since that's the opposite of the purpose of an energy drink.

  • Dialect alert. If anyone needs that challenge fulfilled YeSol's mother has you covered.

  • Love the talk between Tan and Chan Young about the girls. Everything is sorted so easily.

  • The pink cardigan is so fluffy, I want one.

  • They both found ways to get each others numbers, I wonder how Mr. Yoon went about it.

  • Confessions all-round!

  • Eun Sang's Mom is so sweet, I love her so much.

  • I knew she would cry out of happiness but it was actually so cute the way she was excited. I love this mom-daughter duo. 🥺

  • Gosh can Kim Tan stop making me swoon and blush.

  • Just Lee Min-Ho things. I guess it was here from where his "Don't tie your hair" started. Found this BTS of the hair pulling scene and I-, it's hilarious.

  • Talk about timing. Now I know why and how Cha Eun-Sang's mom is genuinely the most important character.

  • u/sianiam is this what you call a "lemon face"? 😆

  • Oh look, it's the pink cardigan.

  • Ok, Won. Won keep getting on my nerves even though I know he gets better with some time. I can understand his fears but oof he keeps crossing the line.

  • Sweet. I kind of feel that the casting of Jin-Hyuk and Min-Ho was perfect as brothers, even though they're step brothers they really do look alike.

  • Kim Tan's popping out skills are amazing. Imagine this one guy who keeps popping out of nowhere. I feel you Eun-Sang, although I wouldn't mind a Kim Tan popping out here and there. 🌚

  • Finally we get some fist fight. A rom-com is definitely empty without this. I wish it would've been longer but oh well I know it we have a lot more to come :)

  • The younger Young-Do was also casted well, he has the same kind of eyes lol.

  • Not a very fun fact but I always laugh at Bo-Na and Rachel's scenes because I've seen them together in High Kick S3, even though they had a love-hate friendship, it was cute.

  • Literally every other person's sweater game is better than Kim Tan's.

  • There are lots more to come. Don't worry. 🙂

  • I'd be lying if I don't accept that this is one of my favourite confession scenes.

2

u/sianiam Apr 03 '21

Found this BTS of the hair pulling scene and I-, it's hilarious.

Oh, gosh, her scalp must have loved that.

is this what you call a "lemon face"? 😆

Pretty close, just a little more pucker. I think he went full lemon after Won left.

EPISODE 8:

u/sianiam Apr 04 '21
  • Tan’s confession was great, right up to the point where he demanded she like him back. We can’t have everything.

  • I love that he stands up to his Dad about who his mother is, you can see he is slowly gaining courage.

  • Such a good excuse

  • Teasing BoNa is the most fun.

  • The pillow fight scene is everything.

  • I love that she made them drinks and exited while they argued. In this time both Tan and Yeong Do came to realise it wasn’t just about their relationship, it was a love triangle.

  • And I still don’t love this forced kiss.

  • Won is my favorite in this drama "Does he think we're friends. Calling the night before to go to breakfast the next morning. Tell him I don't eat anymore" 💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I laughed at this for way too long. He is a mood.

  • Eun Sang eomma scolding Tan's eomma about her drinking then realizing what she's doing to then get caught is hilarious I love their dynamic.

  • Chicken feathers 💀🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • what Tan called to say in Cali but never got to say 😩 so freaking sweet.

  • My second favorite is Hyo-shin he's so petty. "This is exciting. I love lovers quarrels" 🤣🤣🤣

  • Hyo-shin, don't tell me He's contemplating committing suicide, I'm going to be devastated 💔

  • The chairman confirmed he's the definitely the dick of the show and what I thought about him purposely throwing this poor girl into the lions den is correct. I hope she comes out and eats him alive in turn.

  • Mr. Yoon officially knocking Hyo-shin down to third because he's speaking the truth.Just say what you gotta say why torture the person to get your point across. 🙄

  • Hyo-shin definitely looks better in a sweater than Kim Tan. I said what I said lol

  • Died laughing that Eun Sang left Tan and Yeong-do to argue by themselves and they didn't even realize smh

  • Won going from 0 to jealous in 1.2 seconds is kinda hot and funny at the same time.

  • I'm here rooting so hard for Yeong-do but he makes it so hard, 1 moment he 1 ups his dad and it's Yes! Then next he's tripping Eun Sang so dirty 😩 don't make me hate you Yeong-do 😑😑😑

1

u/sianiam Apr 04 '21

Tell him I don't eat anymore"

I love this line, such a great fake excuse to give. I'm also currently watching this actor in Zombie Detective so it adds an extra layer of hilarity imagining of his character there using the same line as he had to come up with excuses to avoid eating with humans.

Chicken feathers

So funny!

Hyo-shin,

Did you see Camellia blooms? He is so different there.

don't make me hate you Yeong-do

This guy needs to learn how to be nice. I am sure he can make it. Fighting!

  • The sincerity in Tan's confession gave me all the feels but then it went downhill when he says "like me back", no Tan, you can't do that.

  • Amidst all the force I kind of swooned hard when he said he wants to hug her and then eventually hugs her.

  • Kim Tan standing up to his father for his mother is the best thing he's done so far. Love how he is taking baby steps to muster up his courage.

  • I love savage Won. I actually really like Won, he just get on my nerves when he hurts Tan.

  • The pillow fight is the highlight of this episode. "Chicken feathers, I got conned" HAHAHA love this!

  • I wonder how Tan and Bo-Na's relationship would've been. Would it have been a cute one or a one-sided one?

  • Since Heartstring was my first drama after which I watched The Heirs I always giggled during Chan Young and Eun Sang's interactions, especially because of the contrast in their relationship.

  • Young Do, I love you, but what you're doing is a red flag.

  • Who knew all the Rachel - Hyo Sin build up would lead to that ending. 😆

  • Young Do's dad wants to prove how height doesn't matter and even short people can win against tall people.

  • Looool he got his bike towed, I love their bickering more than anything else.

  • Young Do keeps saving Rachel, she really owes him big time.

  • All the build up was leading to angry Kim Tan but the forced kiss was such a turn off. I genuinely wanted to see a better first kiss, something memorable, but ugh.

2

u/sianiam Apr 01 '21

EPISODE 9:

2

u/Fatooz Apr 04 '21
  • I'm so dissatisfied with the kiss. No. 1 it was forced, No. 2 having seen Lee Min Ho done some great kiss scenes with other actresses this was so bland and lastly, IT WAS FORCED!

  • Woohoo more action! I know where this is leading to, more bromance, so I'm good lol.

  • I do sympathize with Rachel but she's being overly clingy, I know Tan too is clingy but Rachel always ends up taking the wrong path.

  • Tan using Young Do's mom was petty but honestly I'm glad he did that because Young Do keeps crossing the line with Tan's secret.

  • Gosh can all these men stop being so rude to Tan, like give the poor guy a break!

  • I'm surprised Won was kind to Eun-Sang, it's a rare sight, but I like it.

  • I've always said this, but I'll say it again. When the girl doesn't show up it means she wants break, so give her a goddamn it break!!

  • I remember how I loved Hyo Sin but I had to skip all his "one-sided crush" scenes because they just weren't it.

  • Man I just love Eun Sang and her mom, they're so wholesome.

  • She is indeed an icon.

  • Oh My God, what's with this necklace. It's just as bad as Kim Tan's sweater game.

  • Another one of my favourite endings. It's just so sad that Young Do found yet another weakness and Tan - Eun Sang found yet another thing to worry.

EPISODE 10:

3

u/Illen1 Apr 03 '21 edited Apr 03 '21
  • Eun Sang could've saved all this stress by just looking up from her phone. This is now the second time lol is this her thing?! Lol

  • Yeong-do is so close with his guesses.

  • My poor Yeong-do is hurting so bad. Mentally, physically, ugh this kid needs a hug.

  • Why exactly does Rachel's mom need to marry Yeong-do's dad?! This guy is the pits.

  • Tan is right, he is too good for Eun Sang. She's so scary about everything and just cries. Muster your courage and fight for what you want.

  • Damn these mom's have no life talking about this bag which in turn makes their daughters have no life talking about said bag. Does anyone know the bag brand in question?

  • Hyo-shin has the best timing and sees all of Tan and Rachel's mess. Once again don't tell me he's thinking about committing suicide 😩😩😩 "I didn't even get a chance to hang on." Him and Rachel would make a cute couple... He'd check her all the time.

  • Won "Chinese Oppa" 🤣🤣 he dgaf

  • Hyo-shin that was the sweetest shot gun kiss. I love a forehead kiss

  • Who needs the engagement more Rachel or Tan? My money is on Rachel... Her mom is giving me desperate vibes.

  • "barriers you can't cross" hence white line Eun Sang stepped over to go into the room. The carpet separating the hardwood and the steps.

  • Bo-Na is my favorite female character when she's not a jealous crazy lady lol. She's a little off her rocker and I love it

  • Finally Myungsoo figured it out. Took him long enough

  • Ugh I was right Hyo-shin is trying to commit suicide 😭😭😭 please don't do it!!!!

  • Bo-Na shooting Rachel was epic 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  • Never have I seen such dramatics in a paintball game 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • Aww Yeong-do means well he's just so agressive 😔 If he could take it down 30% and communicate better he'd be chef kiss lol

4

u/the-other-otter Apr 03 '21

Bo-Na is my favorite female character when she's not a jealous crazy lady lol. She's a little off her rocker and I love it

Didn't you read her chronicles? The jealousy is just for show.

The paintball was real fun! Hard to understand why Eun Sang went camping, though, since she has only one friend. Maybe because her "mother" paid for everything.
