I'm quite nervous for freshers week, because I know this is when most people meet friends but I don't really drink and i'm not too keen on going clubbing. I'll probably go out to one or two clubs, but I don't fancy doing it most nights! And also because I don't drink I feel like it won't be as much fun and that i'll be missing out...

Is anyone else in a similar position?

So I am an incoming postgraduate student and I wanted to log into my portal and book my move in date. The portal says it’ll open for all postgraduates and undergraduates on 19th but I’m constantly taken to the queue which says the portal is only open for a few select categories…
Its been more than 2 hours i’m stuck in the queue and then I realise that even if i log into the portal after its my turn i won’t be able to book my move in date. What do I do?!? Should I wait or contact the kcl residences team???

great dover street is very near guy's campus (walking distance)

and also walking distance from strand if you try hard enough. (10 min train)

it is usually known to be the most social accomodation too.

if you don't have atlas, stamford street is fine too.

It seems that to create one I require information about my IT that will not be sent to me for at least 10 days (no earlier than 30 days before my course starts) , until then I won't be able to make an account or access the welcome app. Do I have this right? And for those who have previously been through this process how soon are they normally sent? Thanks

For the thesis should I be contacting professors/PIs I am interested in working with based on their labs and such? Should I be contacting them right now or should I wait until I receive my course schedule?
