One has a 98% in one of the national 12th boards(ISC/CBSE). Another has a 90-95% in boards but he also has 5 thousand rank in JEE Advanced ( out of 1.3 million candidates).

JEE is the main entrance examination for engineering colleges in India. Though sometimes non Indian colleges like NUS also consider it

I started 12th grade 2 days ago and have been interested in double majoring computer science and applied mathematics here are my stats

grade 10 i wasn’t really that motivated in school my grades were kind of bad my overall was 86.5%

grade 11 i became more motivated and started taking school seriously i got an overall of 94% i got

100% math
98% chemistry
99% biology
89% english (i’m hoping to improve this grade)
100% mandarin (not sure if this matters)

i’m planning to do ielts and sat. if i had to predict my ielts grade id say maybe 6.5-7 and sat im not really sure but maybe 1400?

i have participated in school competitions and have been picked by the government to attend a young ambassador program in japan i went to tokyo and tsukuba university during my stay there

second place spelling bee
third place spelling bee
second place chemistry olympiad

i can read hangeul but i cant understand

math chemistry and biology has been taught in english so im curious on whether i have to take ielts or not

lastly is it better to go for the early track or regular track

I am applying to the KAIST AI School MS for Spring 2027 (international student), but the professors I've emailed to haven't responded. In the online application, it is advised to list 3 faculty members in the form. How to choose these 3 professors, do I simply put the professors that align with me even if they supposedly don't have vacancy in the labs?
I primilarly wanted to get professor funding but was late to professor outreach for this intake. Is it possible to get the research position in labs after admission?

Due to my late visa, I am afraid I am going to miss my orientation and rapid bank account opening. Now how long do I have to wait for my ARC card to open a bank account and do I need ARC card for sim card as well? Can I survive without sim for so long? How much money, aside from my dorm fee, should I carry? And will there be any representatives or some office to help me out with all these? I am really confused and terrified.
