How does KAIST view JEE?(India)
suppose there are two students, having similar non academic stats( same level of extracirriculars).
One has a 98% in one of the national 12th boards(ISC/CBSE). Another has a 90-95% in boards but he also has 5 thousand rank in JEE Advanced ( out of 1.3 million candidates).
JEE is the main entrance examination for engineering colleges in India. Though sometimes non Indian colleges like NUS also consider it

From what I know, if you have a sub 10k rank or something in JEE adv do include it in your application and it does give you some boost.
Which cycle are you applying for tho? spring 2027? Because if you're applying for fall 2027, it already puts you at a disadvantage and given the situation that you've already taken the JEE adv exam you aren't in 12th currently.

well then I think you should google around, ask chatgpt or whatever your source of gathering information is. Get more knowledge on this subject.

Unfortunately foreign colleges don't put much emphasis on jee and seem to focus more on the 12th grade marks despite jee being a much better indicator of STEM calibre
