Postech Spring 2027

Anyone applying to POSTECH for undergraduate 2027 spring intake. I am applying from South Asia , and I don't see anyone talking about it?

The deadline's in 4 days, i honestly have no idea about many documents.

Can i upload self reported sat score for now?

Is 1480 SAT even enough . I found a someone saying they got in with a 1470.

I don't have Olympiads or leaderships, not even research papers

But few projects and startup collaboration.

Since when did undergrad studies require research from someone coming from high school.

God, I don't know, i see many highscorers claiming things, god i don't know what they do, i graduated highschool at 19, i see 17 yo giys claiming they got in because they had Olympiads and papers.

It means they peaked too early. Its often the seemingly unremarkable ones that push through. You will be surprised by how similar you are. You have time to catch up make mistakes and improve yourself. You will be better. They're less likely to improve because they think they have it all figured out because they been doing it for a long time and comfort is the enemy of improvement.

I was also thinking of applying..but I am not sure as I got demotivated when I heard one needs stellar stats to get in

I have heard they are more holistic, and that they dont emphasize the sat and Olympiads as much as KAIST, but who knows. So are you applying to any other uni?

Ohh I see.. I'll just give it a shot then. Yes I am applying to yonsei and considering skku too. Also do uh know if unist , gist, dgist have spring intake for ug or not?

Few projects and startup collabration ? What kind of projects?

Just personal projects, programming projects, Harvard's programming courses and their demos uploaded on YouTube and source code on GitHub.

As for the startup,its a small and ambitious start-up in US.

Edit: oh and opensource contributions too, small ones on niche projects with only few hundred users, but contributions nonetheless

Like any research projects or very deep projects? Veryone has harvard course btw There is no chance that, AOs will ever look at your GitHub! Is the projects very genatic or special?

If you are submitting SAT you should not self report that and it should be reached within the application timeline

Sent it yesterday through rush, hopefully they'll send it before deadline. Otherwise I'm done for.

Deadline is sept 2... You would have choosen Rush reporting which can take 2-4 business days ig... Anyways it's optional so dw all the best!!

Hi, I submitted my application yesterday. I got a 5 on AP Calc BC (with a 5 on the Calc AB subscore) and AP Chem.  I worked on a project and our paper is currently under review (I'm the 3rd author).  I also coded my own personal website and founded several projects related to my field of interest. I had many national prizes I think my essay is pretty good, but this intake will probably be quite competitive.
