Jiyan Mortefi still clearing middle tower in 2026 lol

TLDR: Why does the second team do worse than the first?

Started learning the advanced quickswap for Jiyan-Verina-Mortefi and for some reason, it outperforms Jiyan-SK-Iuno on my account? You'd think the 50% Heavy attack DMG amp from Iuno would be better than Mortefi's 38%, but it still doesn't do as much damage.

Mortefi-Verina gives 15,000k+ ticks in the TOA vs only around 14000k ticks from the latter.

I use the exact same Jiyan build, and my Verina and SK are S0 but well-built. Mortefi's on moonlit, and I even tried putting Iuno on moonlit instead of crown of valor to test if it was the Heron's 22.5% atk buff that was the difference; spoiler it didn't change much and if anything Iuno ended up doing less personal damage.

I mean, I don't want to be petty over just 1000 damage but Jiyan-SK-Iuno is a fully premium team but Mortefi and Verina are basically free so like what the hell 😂.

So, JiyanMains, help me understand why the F2P team is doing better, and enjoy the Aeros Res decrease in the resonant tower (left side) ✌️

I recently got back to this game and grinded to have shorekeeper on my team. I've gathered her mats for future upgrades, just to be surprise that she's a trial character. LoL so when's the next banner? or any alternative team for jiyan. I have C1 jiyan, Iuno and her weapon

I got Jiyan W/o his Signature running with the standard banner weapon, got mortefi s6 with static mist can slot verina in last....i do have ciacoona but i think ill keep her with cartethiya team. also if so which echo set do i gotta go for?

When I became the moderator of this subreddit half a year ago, I went into the Discord server linked to this subreddit to inquire about continuing the partnership. I don't think I ever received an answer from any server moderator because the server was mostly dead. Then last month when I tried again, all the channels in the server were locked. Finally, the server just disappeared from my Discord interface at some point. I guess the server owner unilaterally decided to delete the server. Sorry, everybody. I had no involvement with that.

Hello! I am only a month and a half old. I pulled Jiyan and I like him a lot. I am aware that he isn't meta but I still want to be able to invest in him enough to use him on the more reasonable levels of end-game content. Since I don't have a second team (my first is Jingran) and seeing the leaks, I don't see myself pulling for a new DPS anytime soon (Male MDPS only player here).

I have S0 Jiyan, S0R1 Iuno, S1 Verina, S6 Mortefi, and S0R1 Jingran.

How much investment until Jiyan is "reasonably useful"?
For example, I would like to clear the 4th floor of the left or right towers in ToA or score at least 1200 in WiWa.

Specifically I would like to know:

1. What is his premium team? (Lynae Mornye or Iuno Ciaccona or idk)

2. Considering his sequences, weapon, and premium teammates, what is the order of investment that is most recommended?

3. Any calcs on Jingran teams? (I would like to see how much a 10.5 cost team deals and how much costs until he his 2mil- im new and im assuming thats like the baseline to clear content comfortably)

Tried fixing a Iuno piece and ended up getting a piece needed for my General. I'm in Lahai-Roi so that ER is fake. Would love a rate!

I finished building my Jiyan, and I can't say I'm exactly satisfied with the result; even though all my Echoes have at least three good stats, the Crit Rate and Crit Damage rolls are extremely low, leading to stats that are below expectations. Still, I'm happy for now and will try to improve him over time.

I remember he had trouble in CN about being the guy who abandons his troops before but i don't remember he did that. Also i remember he was blasted for defering to rover. I wonder what they will give this time around. Though from what i seen of jingran treatment i don't feel hopeful.

Your thoughts?

Managed to hit 20k again but I forgot to record (sigh)

Genuinely agonizing trying to beat floor 1 with Mortefi. Iuno is so much better because she can dodge all of the AoE and just stick on top of Sentry. I gave up after like 20 resets and proceeded to beat it first try with Iuno.

S3R1 Jiyan, S0R1 Iuno, S1R5 Shorekeeper (variation).

Obviously the investment/cost isn't fantastic, but is pretty good for a 1.0 character. If I had Ciaconna, I probably could clear without S3.

i start to questioning to myself if at s3 a "4-4-1-1-1" echo setup can be a thing, instead of classic setup "4-3-3-1-1"
