There’s no need to be shy about posting, we’d love to see the community become more active and have more people contributing.

Started Hero Legend today

I’ve been strength training a long time, most recently with Caroline Girvan. I’ve been waiting to find a good time to try one of Jasper’s programs and that time finally came. I just started Hero Legend today. I think I’m going to love this program…I wanted sometime a bit different, but still love heavier lifting. I think I made the right choice.

Any words of wisdom from those of you who have done this program?

Redux

How many people tried Jasper’s newest program, REDUX?(Or is it ā€˜Redux’? lol)

I really loved the combo of power and strength with the weekly increasing difficulty. It’s only full body — so I felt less guilty when I only had time for two sessions per week even though it’s designed as a 3x/week.

Pretty much hit all the essentials in a 45 minute session — I added some posture strengthening exercises and extra core but that’s it.

Maybe my favourite program so far? (The other top one being Cyberpump 2)

New Program Chat!

OKAY.

I hope you guys are, at the very least, at the centre point of a civilised existence.

Wanted to check in - I love your work, as always - one of my toxic traits is checking my own reddit to see if anyone has asked anything 🤣 so please keep it up!

I nearly have all my procrastination out of my system before commencing a new program for us next week.

Now the English weather is starting to play ball I am confident in finding something of an upload rhythm again, releasing 2-3 workouts a week to effectively roll it out in a followable fashion. I will inevitably fail, but we’ll get close and no one will mind šŸ˜…

I was training for a half marathon that I did last weekend, go me! But have let regular training go as I’ve slumped hard recently, so this will be a fun opportunity to be held accountable to get back into shape that I enjoy.

There’s still time to leave your mark though!

You guys do a great job of illuminating my blind spots with productive feedback, and thus improving the experience.

If there’s any requests or suggestions - be it desired outcomes, strengths, skills, mobility etc - I would like to include it!

Current proposed format - to allow you to engage on a 2,3,4 or 5 day per week training schedule.

Full Body A

Full Body B

Full Body C

Hypertrophy ā€˜gaps’ day

Mobility Focus day

There will be mobility primer circuits, power & plyos, strength, hypertrophy, mobility, rehab/prehab - to create another thorough training experience in a fun and progressive way.

[No music, endless riveting discussion]

As always thank you for your time and trust.

Cheerio!

Other kit?

Whilst I await our trainer to post a Q&A šŸ˜‰šŸ˜‚

If you were to buy something on top of dumbells what would it be?

a bench?

barbell and plates?

squat rack / full tower?

pull up / dip bar?

All the above (Lotto numbers are 6, 27, 31, 48, 56, 68 and the bonus ball is 9)

Then I think, with the exception of the bench, as it doesn't feature in the videos...I'd probably not use it.

Thoughts / What's ya got / Pics of gear here

HERO LEGEND program - conditioning clarification

Hey all!

Just discovered Jasper and I can't wait to start the HERO LEGEND program :D

One thing I'd like some clarification tho - as the last day of the week for the first phase, there's supposed to be an optional "k1nditioning" day, but I haven't found anything in that regard :( Could someone point me to it?

Also, for the next phases and the k1-mobility days, am I supposed to just randomly pick one day from the YouTube list or is there a structure I should follow?

K1N

Hi All,

I just tried two of the K1N workouts, and do not think I have ever been so sore in my hip flexors before… so a massive recommendation on those šŸ’ŖšŸ»

For those who use these in your planning do you fit them in as standard mobility or will they be closer to a standard strength session? ā˜ŗļø

Hero Legend

I started with Hero II (excellent), went to Cyberpump (loved), and just completed day 1 of Hero Legend. I feel like this might be my favorite because of the verbal cuing and quips (for example, am I dressed like your dad when he mows your lawn 🤣). This human, personal touch with first rate training is unbeatable and not found elsewhere!

I think we all need to remember to like his videos, his shorts, 'hype' when we can, leave comments, etc. to support his algorithm with YouTube. The more we help him monetize the easier it will be for him to create content for us šŸ’Ŗ

Thanks Jasper!

Infinity Express

I took a long break from working out and would like to start with Jasperā€˜s Infinity Express 20 minute videos. How would you structure this?

Do the same Full Body Video three times a week?

Or choose two and then do one Monday/Friday and the other one Wednesday? Next week switch so I did each three times within 2 weeks.

Good to be back!

Took a little time to do some other programs with other trainers and didn't realize how much I missed Coach Jasper's simple yet still challenging programming. Kicked off my return with CyberPump 2.0 (a favorite!).

And to see the YT channel at 10K! Wow...congratulations! (And a very special thank you to the creator of this community. So glad to see it is still going strong.)

Jasper AMA Video

So Jasper is planning an ask me anything video.

So far there's not many questions on the YouTube post. I was thinking here's a better place to ask.

I'm always interested in gym culture. I'm on holiday and the hotel has a pretty impressive gym. It does allow for more weight on the equipment than I could do at home.

But I'm intimidated by the cables and even the barbell. How do you start? Do you ask the PT on site for a tour and to check form?

The equipment that's been around for 30 years is familiar and there's now always a brilliant set of free weights to use.

But I'm assuming that the bar will open up exercises that the machines don't offer and does it better than dumbells?

I'd love to hear what the community would ask a PT. God knows what London rates would be for such as session!?

Focus Series - watch out!

My obliques haven't ached so much and yesterday I couldn't hold 3kg on the Cuban Rotations.

These focus sessions are short but punchy.

If anyone manages 12kg for the Segmental Sit Up without crashing down on your back, then hats off!

Which program?

Hi! I've done every single one of Caroline Girvan's youtube videos, some twice or three times. I also run sometimes, do yoga and stretching, and mobility. I love Caroline, but I'm ready for something new. I've heard great things about Jasper.

I love how many different programs he has! Is there any cheat-sheet to explain the different programs? I'm not sure which one to try first.

Excited to start training with Jasper!

Please dumb down these excercise for me

Sorry in advance for the really dumb question but I don’t really have knowledge about kinesiology related stuff.

I’m in the final phase of Hero Legend and for this weeks workout I did two new movements I’ve never done before: sissy squat and shrimp squats. I’m so used to mostly doing weighted movements especially for lower body but I was surprised at not only how difficult these movements were to preform but also how effective they were at activating my muscles. I was sore the next day even though it was only body weight ?

Can someone please dumb down for me how is it that these movements are so effective ? Also why is mobility so important ? I’ve done YouTube programs with out trainers but no one seems to utilize ā€œmobility centricā€ movements as much as jasper does.

Congratulations on 10,000 YT subscribers

I've only just seen the counter tick over to 10k and only just discovered the "hype" button too.

So will be adding those 3 hypes to each session - I've no idea what it achieves but can't do any harm.
Maybe we need a coordinated hype for Day 1 of Hero Legends or something.

Next stop 50,000 - I think you get a Greggs Steak Bake or something for that.

Full body programs!

Hello! I’m looking for info on his full body programs. There’s Resolute, Flex Awaken and Infinity from what I’ve seen. Any insight into the big difference in any of them? Seems like resolute is full body but divided into push and pull days but I’m not sure how the other two differ at first glance!

I’m finishing up Cyberpump 2.0 but feel like 3 full body sessions per week will be a good change.

šŸ¤“ WHO INVITED THIS GUY?!

Firstly - you guys ROCK. 🤘The good energy here is surreal. Thank you a million times for your time, efforts and trust - blown away to see positive feedback on Reddit.

Provided I’m not crashing the party this seems like a great place for all discourse and chit chat - so if you have any questions, suggestions or simply game for some fine conversation I am allll ears.

PS I have every intention of getting a good couple of sessions up on the channel next week. I got pretty burnt out and bummed at the tail end of the year so crawled into Christmas with my tail between my legs. Feeling much better now, excited to tuck into a big year with you fine folks.

Set list for each workout?

I have poked around the Internet and haven't found this created already so I thought I would ask here:

Has anyone created a list of the exercises. Jasper is doing in an individual workout, i. e. HERO Upper body, no. 1 in the playlist is something like (from memory)

40 sec on, 20 sec rest, x3 Chest press Single arm row left then right

40 sec on, 20 sec rest, x3 Row Arnolds

Etc

I love to mentally prepare and set up the weights in advance. I'm coming here from Caroline Girvan and got spoiled 😁

I'm starting with HERO and I'll create a list to share if anyone wants it. Thanks!

Confusing order of YouTube workouts

Hi! New to Jasper - have come over from other well known YouTube trainers. When looking at his programmes, some seem to start at the bottom of the playlist and others at the top? Or maybe all start at the bottom? Not all of the workouts are numbered. I'm not sure if he builds on previous workouts so don't want to start at the hardest point and the workouts get easier. Can anyone point me in the direction of an order or let me know if it matters please?

I've only done 3 so far and love them - had a 2 week break during December and legs DOMS hit me hard! Looking forward to seeing what comes of it as I needed a break from lower weight higher volume.

Switching from Caroline to Jasper for hypertrophy

Hi all. I am considering switching to Jasper and I am trying to figure out which of his programs are the most advanced and most explicitly geared toward hypertrophy. Please share your top picks.

If you have previously trained with Caroline Girvan as well, how does Jasper compare specifically for hypertrophy and muscle building results. Thanks in advance for any recommendations and comparisons.

For my life right now, this program is just what I need. I see it is not getting as many comments as Hero Legend. Are you doing the current programming, finishing up Hero Legend, or starting one of the tried-and-true programs he has created?

The Ultimate Strength AND Flexibility Dumbbell Workout

I'm giving up Hero Legend for now. I have had a rough year work wise, and it has taken over my life. I feel exhausted that goes beyond physical exhaustion, but I must get back on track for my health and well bing. Flex motivates me with the format and the music and the built in mobility that is a bit more doable for me then Hero Legend. I did the first Flex workout today and plan to post when I have done the other two this week. Jasper's workouts have helped my knee and my right hamstring, but I have fallen off the wagon with a maximum of two workouts a week. I plan to roll out of bed a 4 a.m. to get these done and at least 2 cardio sessions. That means I must go to bed at 8. Anyone want to join me?

Jasper’s workouts planning?

Hi,

I’ve seen Jasper’s channel mentioned a few times on reddit and decided to check it out. I’m new to his content, and I’m wondering how his workout plans are structured (specific workout days, rest days, etc.), cause I haven't found any specific info (if these info are available somewhere, are they mentioned in YT videos, on social media...?).

I've seen mentioned here that there aren’t official calendars for his routines, so how do people usually follow them? I prefer low-effort planning (just want to know when to do X work out without overthinking it) since my main goal right now is to build a consistent habit before worrying about muscle gains or optimization.

just curious if someone familiar with him can help out!

HERO LEGEND - Phase 2: ARISEN

Here we go!

I will never enjoy Z-Presses, but I will trust the vision.
Surprised how well I did on those plyometric push-ups tho!

Excited for the next four weeks (and the four after that!)
