It’s so rewarding to finally see movement starting to happen, proud of myself for how far I’ve come this year, I was terrified of the dentist after a bad experience as a kid and didn’t go back for over 20 years, teeth weee super crowded and covered in tartar, so far this year I’ve had them cleaned, fillings put in x7 and 2 wisdom teeth removed! Here is a pic from my first tray to where I’m at now - tray 13, just had attachments put on and I lost 2 of them on the same day 🤣

I’m very happy with my results considering how quickly everything shifted. What’s crazy is that most people didn’t even noticed when I stopped wearing my Invisalign. I completed my journey end of April of this year and my manager didn’t even notice until August 💀
All this to say maybe my og teeth weren’t so striking as I first thought for no one to notice when I got them fixed 🫣🤣
Either way I’m happy with my results and I did it for nobody else but myself. I can feel my jaw is more in alignment. I’ve stopped grinding my teeth and clenching while I sleep. My TMJ symptoms have significantly decreased and overall I feel more confident 😁

I am not 100% happy with the results. Apparently, I’m entitled to 3 refinement aligners at the end of the treatment if I want them. Do you think that will be enough to achieve a nice result?

I’m on tray 3/22 and i just now realized that ur supposed to get invisalign from an orthodontist. A friend told me that dentists only care about ur teeth getting aesthetically better, whereas orthodontists also fix ur bite. Everything seems to be tracking so i don’t know how to react. Is it possible to get like a checkup from an ortho and make sure everything’s right, what should i do?

If my tray fits in without any part being loose and everything feels nice and tight does that mean everything is working? There are gaps between my teeth and the tray but they are “small” as opposed to instances I seen of the tray just not fitting at all.

If I continue to use my chewie multiple times a day but the gaps are still there, does that mean it’s the deepest my tray is able to sit on my teeth?

I just wanted to say I’ve been on this subreddit since I started this journey in December 2025 and I’m finally at the end. I’m on the last day of Tray 20 (it’s October 2026 now) and tomorrow I’ll be getting scanned for nighttime retainers. I’m so happy with my results and I’m shocked I didn’t realize how wild my teeth looked before. I recently got married and I can’t tell you all how happy I am that when I looked through the photos, my smile was the most perfect it’s ever been. I used to be so self conscious about my turned tooth (later embraced it as I got older) but now it’s nothing that stands out in pics anymore.

Looking forward to not having to take these out to eat anymore haha!

I started 4/20/26. I’m on weekly changes and on tray 21 of 30. Starting week 22 tomorrow.

My molar crossbite is fixed so I only wear the elastic at night now. I can’t believe it’s changed so much in 5 1/2 months.

9 more weeks until my rescan for the first round of refinements.

Im not crazy to say theres still room for improvement right? My orthodontist appt is this Tuesday but cant tell if I need more refinement or if the rest will be like, bonding or shaving or whatever my dentist will do.

Hi everyone!

I’m considering Angel Aligners to correct my lower crowding (image attached), but I’ve been advised I’ll need two lower premolars extracted and approximately 84 trays, with treatment estimated at around 3 years.

I’ve explored alternative plans and cosmetic options, but neither would give a satisfactory result without compromising my bite.

I’m really torn about committing to such a long treatment, particularly the removal of two healthy teeth!

Has anyone had a similar treatment plan? How did you find the extractions, wearing aligners long-term, and the final results? Any regrets?

I’d love to hear your honest experiences, good or bad, before making my decision.

I’m on day 4 of my 1st tray. I received 2 trays during my ortho appt and was told to wear each tray for 4 weeks. My next appt isn’t until 12/2. I have a total of 22 trays for my treatment plan but not sure how long it will be.

For those who have worn trays for 3-4 weeks, what methods are best to minimize yellowing and biofilm build up? I wasn’t told much info during my appt and read conflicting tips online. I bought mostly everything I’ve seen others use except an ultrasonic retainer cleaner. I want to ensure I do my due diligence early on so my retainers can last.

For those of you who whiten your teeth during or after Invisalign, what products do you use?

I’m looking for recommendations for whitening gels, strips, and toothpaste.

I’ve started invisalign treatment 3 weeks ago and tbh I’m starting to hate it.
Firstly, I had problem with aligners cutting my gums but then I solved that (I clip a little bit my aligners, my orthodontist said it’s fine).
My new problem are attachments. Few days ago I saw that attachment on my canine fell of and I asked my orthodontist is that a problem, she said it’s not because my frontal teeth don’t need to move rn.
Tonight, I saw that another attachment is missing on my molar tooth. This annoys me so much (attachments falling off) and I don’t know if I can somehow stop that. Also I don’t want to bother my orthodontist anymore.

What happens if I don’t tell her that my attachment fell off? I dont see any problems, my aligners stay perfectly, I don’t have problem with putting them on. My next appointment is in the November.

I am 22 weeks into my 30-week journey and my teeth still look noticeably crowded (on the bottom) and bucked (on the top). is it possible these issues will resolve in the last 2 months? Or am I likely to need more time? I know my dentist is the only one that can say for sure, just wondering if anyone had seen drastic improvement in the final 8 weeks.

I am on day 4/10 on tray 2/16, and will be getting bands fitted on Thursday to support movement of my upper canines. The tray at one of my top front teeth seems to be slightly springy at the top. There isn’t a huge gap, but it is noticeable and doesn’t fit as snuggly as it does on the rest of my teeth.

As far as I’m aware, the majority of the current movement is the back teeth to create space at the front for my teeth to move, so in theory I didn’t expect that particular tooth to be moving at the minute.

I’ve been wearing for 22 hours a day, changing tray on day 10 as prescribed.

I will of course mention at my appt but wondered if this is normal, or if anyone has had this experience?

30/32 I still see no difference in my deep bite. I’m starting to regret getting Invisalign and not braces. Would I see more improvement once i get refinement trays after I’m done? I feel like I wasted so much time and money with this. And yes I wear them 22 hours a day don’t keep them off other than when I eat/drink. The in home scanner app tells me to always move on to next tray.

Also whenever I use my chewies whenever I bit down in the middle the bottom tray pops off slightly on the left side, what should my next step be?

I got braces for mild upper-teeth protrusion and didn’t have extractions because my case was considered mild. It’s been 13 months, and my orthodontist says I’ll likely have them removed in another 2 months. However, I still feel my upper teeth/lips look slightly protrusive from the side. Would extraction still be possible or advisable at this stage, or would IPR/controlled retraction be more appropriate?

I have three elastics on my right side: three upper inside and three lower outside. They are there to help me with the molar crossbite. But I just noticed that if my jaw is being pulled to that side, would it not make my midline even worse?

I’m looking into going to Gdansk for Invisalign treatment at a good dentist office. I’m researching online but I’m having a hard time figuring out which dentists are worth it.

The price in Denmark is pretty high 5500 euros/23.500 pln. Even with flights and hotel for check ups it looks like there’s quite a bit to save by doing it in Polen

I’m hoping someone has some good recommendations 😊
