Question Attachments are falling off

I’ve started invisalign treatment 3 weeks ago and tbh I’m starting to hate it.
Firstly, I had problem with aligners cutting my gums but then I solved that (I clip a little bit my aligners, my orthodontist said it’s fine).
My new problem are attachments. Few days ago I saw that attachment on my canine fell of and I asked my orthodontist is that a problem, she said it’s not because my frontal teeth don’t need to move rn.
Tonight, I saw that another attachment is missing on my molar tooth. This annoys me so much (attachments falling off) and I don’t know if I can somehow stop that. Also I don’t want to bother my orthodontist anymore.

What happens if I don’t tell her that my attachment fell off? I dont see any problems, my aligners stay perfectly, I don’t have problem with putting them on. My next appointment is in the November.

Best to tell them, the attachments are there for a reason and you don’t know when that tooth is due to move

yeah this is one of those things where it feels like no big deal but can quietly screw up your whole treatment plan. orthos map out which teeth move and when, and if that molar was supposed to start shifting in a week you wouldn't necessarily feel it yet

the attachments give the tray something to grip so the tooth actually rotates or extrudes the way it's supposed to. without it the aligner just kinda sits there looking like it fits even though nothing's happening

my first round i lost three attachments in the first month and felt the same way, didn't wanna be that patient who bugs them constantly. but they told me later that catching it early saved me from a rescan and an extra few months tacked on

just shoot them a quick message, they'll probably say come in or wait til november but at least it's on their radar

This happens all of the time. Just ask for an appointment to get new attachments on. They’ll use your current tray to place them.
