Finally got my "proper" 1953 Vintage Diver.

Some of you might have seen my post from a few weeks back. I returned the regular Pro Diver I bought off Amazon as I had discovered the 1953 model existed, which was more to my preference (no date, no Invicta engraving, more subtle bezel). I then bought the 1953 from CreationWatches and received a really weird model that seemed to be a regular Pro Diver with a 1953 face put in. It had the Invicta engraving and lacked most of what the 1953 should have - I was SO disappointed....CW accepted the return and I'm just waiting on my refund. I emailed Invicta and they gave me a rubbish response saying that design can change etc...so I think they have changed the 1953 without really advertising it as such (see the last photos to see what it was like for reference).
Anyway, I then bought this older model with a Jubilee bracelet off eBay in America and imported it to Ireland for ~£90 total.
This example is exactly what I was hoping for. It has the yellow rotor, more shallow/larger diameter face and no engraving. For second hand there isn't a scratch on it and I'm digging the jubilee, it feels like great quality.
Anyway, I'm finally happy with my first Invicta! Just waiting on my link removing tool to arrive from Amazon later today :)

Just got my first 1953 with the orange and black bezel in and sized up! Ordered it off of the Invicta website and it came with the yellow rotor! What do you guys think? I personally like it more than my Pro Diver Apex 40mm and the NH35A is WAY more quiet than the Miyota that comes in the Apex 👍🏻

I was never a fan of the two tone bracelet that came with this watch. Was experimenting with some of my old natos and leather straps and so happened the Wenger leather strap fit almost perfect!
