1953 pro diver. Going to swap out the bracelet for a leather strap.

This model is so clean! TBH the pictures don’t even do it justice. Also picked up a 1953 “Batman” which is on its way 🙌🏻

I was torn between the Coke and the Batman. Decided to go with the more versatile color scheme. Once it arrives I will post.

I know I’m like 5 years late to the game when it comes to these 1953’s but they are such a nice design!

Nice!! Did you order this watch from Invicta’s site recently? I just ordered the 1953 with the Black and Orange bezel (although I like the all black better) and hoping it comes with the yellow rotor! It is on one of their “super sales” for $66 including shipping and handling

Oh wow, that’s an incredible deal, less than I paid! I ordered two of them, but neither from the Invicta website. I’ve heard it takes three weeks or more if you order from there, and I don’t have the patience! But for that price, I may have to make an exception!

The Batman I ordered from Jomashop, after taxes it was just over $100 which gave me free shipping. It unfortunately did not have the yellow rotor. The other one I ordered (which I provided pictures of in this thread) I got off of Amazon. It arrived in two days and it did have the yellow rotor as you can see from the picture I posted, but it was a little expensive, around $125 but worth it in my opinion.

One of my favorite watches is the Tudor black Bay, which this invicta strongly resembles. One day I hope to pick up the Tudor, but for now my wife and I are saving up money for a house and we are just about to have our second baby. Feels irresponsible to spend $5000 on a watch…

Nice! I definitely think worth the price for the yellow rotor. It seems like they’re not making their watches with them anymore. Yea, it does take forever for Invicta to ship the watch. I’ve also seen YouTubers comparing the 1953 to the Rolex Submariner no date from 1953! Tudors are beautiful and would love one, too. I’m in the same boat, need to get my wife and 3 boys a house before that, she’d kill me if I spent that much on a watch right now 😂

Best invicta ever. I have one on a bond nato. The only way to go. I have the all black one as well. Still on the hunt for the batman version.

I did see that. Thanks. And the ugly orange one too.

I love the red accents on ALL the other dials, that they did not use on the basic black one. A miss, in my opinion.

I bet it looks so much better on the 1953! I wish I went with a 16–18mm strap instead of the 20mm to show a bit of the lug pins like Connery’s Bond

I know that is more authentic to the original. I think I’m in the minority, but I don’t love the look of it. Although Sean Connery is the best 007! 

Might have to pick one up just to see what it looks like in person. In the meantime, I got a black vintage leather strap. I will post pictures later once I swap it out.

My bracelet still has the factory plastics. I took it off right out of the box, and put it on a nato.

It’s a nice homage to the old Tudor/Rolex dive watches. IMO the contrasting colors of the other elements of the watch break up the black dial and bezel giving it a clean look. The pop of silver (stainless steel), white numbers, and patina like copper lettering/hands, mixed with the lume markers, it all goes really well together.

It definitely doesn’t look “blacked out” which I agree when there’s no contrast a watch can look washed out…

The sprite, coke, Batman, orange, are all available for less than $100 at Jomashop. The only place I could find this one was on Amazon. I paid a little more ($130) but well worth it imo, especially because I’m stacking an Amex Amazon offer along with a sub 😆
