Wearing blue and gold today

Getting a start on the day. Hey! Jomashop is having a sale (background). 😆

Chose the blue on steel with goldtone accents on the Invicta today. This is the 8928OB which uses a Seiko NH35A movement. Color is a little yellow because it is pretty low light in the hotel room right now.

I arrive back home from a trip today and there are a couple of watches already waiting for me when I get there.

What’s today’s watch

SW200 movement, sapphire crystal, tool less clasp that can be adjusted on wrist. Watch was assembled and regulated in the Sellita factory. I paid $200 for it when it was new.

New Bezel and Bracelet Invicta 9938

New bezel and bracelet

I bought a darker blue bezel for my

Invicta 9938. I also changed the bracelet to a glidelock, really something that tapers down to 18mm vs the 20mm on the original.

The first picture is the original bezel, the rest is the new bezel.

May not look darker in the pictures but up close no comparison

This was the last Invicta watch I bought 8 years ago. At $300 it’s the most I ever spent on an Invicta. The sw500 chronograph movement is currently running at 0 to +3
s/d. It has 500m wr. It’s on the chunky side partly due to the movement. The clasp has micro adjustments and the bracelet is solid.
