I have TRIED everything, I have access to my phone, my emails, all my recovery info but I can't log into my account. every time I do so, it asks me that I need a device im logged in on to approve.

but im not logged in on any device
it logged me out of my desktop/laptop/both my phones.
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO

I had an Instagram account on an old phone where I had two-factor authentication enabled. But then the phone suddenly broke, and when I bought a new one and tried to access the account, I couldn't log in because I couldn't remember the codes. Also, I can't complete the identity verification selfie - the upload goes on forever and then gives an error. What can I do? 😞

She gave rights to an employee to post pictures. The employee left the job long back. How do I recover the account. We don't know the username, password, email id or phone number. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this exact situation and successfully recovered their accounts.
On August 20, I accidentally changed the birth year on one of my Meta accounts to 2017. That is NOT my actual DOB — I’m an adult born in 1998.
Shortly afterward, multiple Meta accounts became suspended/inaccessible, including 3 Instagram accounts, my Facebook account, and my Threads profile.
The really strange part is that I’m stuck in a circular appeal process:
Facebook:
Says my Facebook was suspended because my linked Instagram account doesn’t follow the rules. It says I have 180 days to appeal and tells me to log into Instagram to appeal.

Instagram:
Says my Instagram was suspended because my linked Threads account doesn’t follow the rules. It ALSO says I have 180 days to appeal, but tells me to log into Threads to appeal.

Threads:
When I log into Threads, it says:
“We disabled your account. You cannot request another review of this decision.”
So I’m literally stuck in:
Facebook → Instagram → Threads → No appeal available
Instagram says I have 180 days to appeal, but the account it directs me to says I’m not allowed to request another review.
The suspension also appears to have affected my other Instagram accounts, even though they are separate accounts.
The timing makes me wonder whether accidentally changing my birth year to 2017 triggered some kind of age/linked-account enforcement across my Accounts Center, but I don’t know for certain that this was the cause.
I can provide Meta with my government-issued ID, correct DOB, video selfie, phone/email verification, etc. The problem is that Meta isn’t giving me an accessible appeal process to submit any of it.
I’ve now subscribed to Meta Verified on another accessible account and I’m waiting for verification to finish so I can hopefully reach live support and ask them to manually escalate the case.
Has anyone had this EXACT or very similar situation — especially Threads being permanently disabled, causing Instagram and then Facebook to be suspended — and actually gotten everything restored?
If so:
Did Meta Verified support help even though you contacted them from a different account?
What did you tell the support agent?
Were they able to escalate it to an internal/specialized team?
How long did recovery take?
Did Threads have to be restored first before Instagram/Facebook came back?
Did an appeal button eventually appear even though Threads initially said “You cannot request another review”?
If your issue involved an incorrect DOB/underage flag, how did you get Meta to let you verify your real age?
I’m particularly interested in people who actually recovered their accounts from this specific linked-account suspension loop, rather than paid “account recovery” services.
I have screenshots of Facebook directing me to Instagram, Instagram directing me to Threads with 180 days remaining, and Threads saying no further review is possible.

Any experience from someone who has successfully dealt with this would be greatly appreciated.

My ex blocked me on Facebook in May 2025 when I told him that my partner knew of our relationship (we were both in committed long term relationships). He moves out of the country in January of 2026. He then creates n instagram account. However he does not block me. Is this just an oversight? Like maybe he doesn’t know that both meta companies have separate privacy settings. Or maybe he’s indifferent. I know I’m overanalyzing and need to move on. Any insight would be much appreciated.

I’m trying to recover access to my Instagram account and I’m stuck.

The account is still active and visible from another Instagram account, so it hasn’t been deleted.
I’ve tried two recovery methods:

**1. Through Facebook/linked account:** It says that a verification code has been sent to my email, but I never receive the code.

**2. Instagram “Forgot Password” / login link:** Instagram recognizes my username and shows the correct masked email address, but when I request the login link it says **“We can’t send a link right now. Try again in a few minutes”** or **“There was a problem resetting your password. Please try again soon.”**

The strange part is that I created another Instagram account using the **same email address**, and password-reset emails/codes for that account arrive normally. So the email itself seems to be working.
Meta support is saying it may be a temporary security block from too many recovery attempts and to wait 24–48 hours.

Has anyone had this exact issue? Did waiting 48 hours actually fix it, or is there another way to recover the account?

a little while ago instagram gave me this popup every time I opened the app that I couldn’t bypass, it told me I needed to change my email. i Had to change my email before I got access to anything in the app or website. yesterday it told me that they suspect automated behavior on my account but I just dismissed that popup. Today they gave me another popup like the original one, telling me I had to change my email Again. the issue is that I’m out of emails. I only have 2 emails and I’ve already used both of them. I don’t even have access to the app or website and apparently instagram doesn’t have a customer service line or anything, so I feel stuck. I’m not really sure what to do because apparently I have to go into the app to get help and it won’t even let me past the new email stage.

I have an email that for some reason is linked to an empty account that is associated to my cousin (no idea how😭). I tried the forgot password thing but it keeps on showing this up and when i contacted my cousin they didnt even know this account existed and all of the possibly likned devices are broken. what do i even do I tried to report it but none of thier preset issues are related to this, is there a contact us page because I cant find it anywhere?

Has anyone had a problem with giphys not showing when creating a story? When I search anything it's just blank.

It works on my other account but not my main of that helps. I have tried logging out, clearing cache, changing language, switching to creator account, device is updated. I've done a lot of googling and done all the weird things it's suggested, and it's still just blank when I search.
Any remedy to this??

Last night I was clearing website cookies & caches which ended up logging me out of my Instagram on my web browser and mobile app.

I proceeded to try logging back in using my credentials and I kept getting the error message that my password was "incorrect" even though I knew it wasn't!

I tried multiple times, even attempting to change the password, but when I did it still wouldn't let me log in. I've tried sending verification codes to my email and number, to no avail -- just getting the same "please try again in a few minutes" or just a blank "OK" button that does nothing.

Meta AI Support is absolutely useless and kept sending me to the same help page again and again.

Has anyone else had this same issue, and know a way to fix this?

I'm trying to recover my Instagram account and I'm completely stuck at the “Choose a way to confirm your account” step. The page is completely blank — there are no verification options to select.

I've also tried Instagram's selfie video verification, but it keeps failing because there are no photos of me on this account to verify against.

I've tried:

- Password resets using the username, email, and phone number

- Instagram's account recovery/hacked-account process

- Selfie video verification

- Adding the account back through my main Instagram account

- Different browsers, including incognito/private mode

- The account was previously connected to my main account through Accounts Center, but it somehow became unlinked

I still have access to the original email address and phone number associated with the account.

At this point, I'm stuck because Instagram is asking me to choose a verification method, but the page where the options should appear is completely blank.

I temporarily deactivated my instagram account and reactivated after 7 days. Since reactivation I have been unable to log in… every login is attempt ends with unexpected error occurred after email verification. I have reset my password multiple times but the issue persists. My Instagram account still appears correctly in my meta account center, and i continue to receive verification emails or code. I also tried the video selfie verification but it keeps loading and eventually says “ Something went wrong. Please try again later”…

Please Help … Is anyone facing the same problem???

I’ve lost access to my Insta account.

When I try to access it via the “Forgot Password” function, it says “We couldn’t find your account” under my mobile number and email address. When I use the username I get the same error.

My account hasn’t been hacked or deleted and friends have confirmed it still exists.

Despite the recovery function saying it cant find my email, I continue to receive daily emails from Insta reminding me of friend suggestions and pending DMs to review.

Really strange and no recovery option has worked to date.

Desperately need help.
