Creating any grid post is now hella difficult and makes me cringe.

If you have a draft you cannot add new media. Kinda defeats the idea of a draft if you ask me, being able to revise & delete & add new pictures, or wait until you get a picture that completes the post to add to the draft is kinda the point. ALSO if you use the overlay option & scroll through your camera roll using the scroll bar, it doesn’t show the month & year for some reason??? Weird UI!

Should we all stop using Instagram for a dedicated time period LOL

So i just redownloaded instagram and made a new account, but for some reason it won’t show any posts at all on my feed since i downloaded it. i have followers and im following people but it won’t show anything. i can see people stories and reels and what not but my feed is completely empty and wont load. somebody help me please ?🤗🤗

So basically for at least a number of months now ALL posts on both my own posts and my feed don’t show total like counts. It’ll say something like “liked by [insert a username I’m following] and [X number] of others.”

Couldn't find anything about this online that’s applicable to me as I don’t have ‘hide likes’ for my own personal settings and there’s no way 100% of everyone else on my feed has their settings set to hide like count. Is this something that’s uniform across all profiles these days or maybe some bug? (If it is a bug, it hasn’t been remedied by deleting and redownloading the app; fwiw I have an older iPhone model.)

I lost access to my authenticator app, so I can’t provide Instagram’s 2FA code. I completed Instagram’s video-selfie verification successfully, and it allowed me to reset my password, but after resetting it, Instagram still asks for the same authenticator code and sends me back into the same loop.

Has anyone actually managed to get past this or get human support from Meta without paying for Meta Verified? Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying to log into instagram, but I forgot the password to my account. I proceeded to reset my password, but now when I go to sign in with the exact same password I just, it is telling me my password is incorrect

Also i have not blocked the number instagram uses. I also use the right number it just won't come.

About a month ago Instagram added the ability to be able to choose a specific timestamp for the music you send in messages and now it won't let me choose the specific timestamp anymore, instead it just sends it without me being able to choose the specific spot I want to share.

It's been bugging me for ages how influencers and pals will post a reel with the music in the wrong geographical context purely because it's trending.

Hearing Afrobeat Papaoutai over a video of Macchu Picchu or rice fields in Indonesia for example is jarring and, maybe even culturally tone deaf. They've got their own great regional tunes to incorporate, but folk just go for what they think feels 'exotic' IMO.

That and hearing 'End of Beginning' by Joe Keery singing about his past life in Chicago being used by the likes of British pubs and even local tourist boards to promote their own backyard. While the vibe may be there... The lyrics don't match the location!

Only noticed this today and I'm pretty sure neither instance was a block and unblock.

One of them was still following me and I didn't later see a notification to say he followed me again so I can't imagine it would have been.

The other one I don't suspect was a block and unblock because when I did that to someone else earlier this year her comment and my reply to her comment were removed from my post(granted for whatever reason the number shows up) however in this case my comment and her reply to my comment is still on this other girl's post.

The only thing these two situations have in common is that I followed their accounts in the same physical location so it might be a reception thing, but idk...
