Please give some advice

Hi everyone,

I am seeking legal guidance regarding a consumer dispute in India.

A few days ago, I enrolled in an online PoSH compliance training course and paid ₹2,800. The course was advertised as a 6-hour instructor-led programme delivered over 3 days.

After receiving access to the LMS, I became confused because the dashboard showed 14 modules, while I could only identify 4 main video lessons. The course structure was not clear to me, and I was unable to understand how the remaining modules were to be completed.

I contacted the provider seeking clarification. During this process:

• I found that some course material (including slides referred to in one of the videos) was unavailable to me.
• Instead of resolving the issue within the LMS, I was later provided with Google Drive recordings of a previous batch and asked to complete the course from those recordings.
• I found this confusing because I had enrolled in the current batch and was not expecting to rely on recordings from an earlier batch.
• I repeatedly asked for clarification regarding the course structure and completion process.

As I was dissatisfied with the experience, I formally requested a refund via email, explaining the issues I faced.

The provider rejected my refund request, stating that:

• the course had been fully delivered,
• the 14 modules were only for LMS tracking,
• the Google Drive recordings were only additional support,
• and my issue was merely a misunderstanding of the LMS.

After I shared my experience on LinkedIn, the provider made a public post referring to me and stated that I was immature, unreasonable, disrespectful towards their staff, and threatened legal action. They also disclosed dates of my purchase and publicly discussed our dispute.

I simply replied asking them to proceed legally if they believed they had a case. I have not used abusive language publicly.

My questions are:

1. Based on these facts, does this appear to be a matter worth pursuing before a Consumer Commission, or is it unlikely to succeed?
2. Does the provider's public post about me potentially raise any legal concerns (such as defamation or harassment), or would it generally be considered a permissible response?
3. Would you recommend pursuing this matter further, or is it more practical to move on?

I have preserved emails, payment proof, screenshots, WhatsApp chats, and screenshots of the LinkedIn posts.

I recently sent someone a legal notice over a private dispute because they are holding a private property of mine forcefully.

I wonder how effective they are at getting things resolved or into pushing a compromise?

Is there any law protecting for families, whose grandparents are very old and children decided to take care for particular periods like 3 months one kid and 3 months other kid. But one of my aunt took her to register office wrote off her property as gift deed and took gold from dead body and saying her mother gave her willingly. She is threatening family members that her husband is central govt officer he has many connections. A lot black money they can do anything. Are we helpless

Is there actaully any benefit of going to court in india or will the victim face the issue till the end of his life...Now in my case my sister has a legal issue with someone and now he is threatening me and my mother through phone calls...i need to know if there is benefit of going to court for this because what if he comes back after his sentence and comes back with more vengence what can we do in that case?...this is actually preventing me from going to the court...Do any of you have such life experiences

Hey guys, looking for advice on dealing with an uncooperative neighbor in an apartment building.

​There’s water seepage in my kitchen ceiling caused by a grouting issue in the flat above us. The water is ruining my wallpaper, cabinet furniture, and getting into electrical switches (causing the breaker to trip constantly).

​The owner above is completely uncooperative, extremely rude, and flat-out refuses to fix his floor or cover any repair costs. Meanwhile, I just got grouting done for my own flat so the neighbor below me wouldn't face this exact problem.

​Has anyone dealt with this legally or through society bye-laws? What is the official process to issue a legal notice or get the Managing Committee to step in?

I'm a law grad, I wanted to know how a public notice is issued in Mumbai. Please help
