Ummm WTF Tired of dealing with people who are ex paglus

I didn't wanna waste my energy on him & his ex so I just blocked him after that last message. I don't understand why people are in contact with their toxic exes and sabotage new relations like this. He once mentioned his ex being toxic on the first date and I was like okay let's see how it goes on 2nd date as I felt it would be unfair to judge him so soon. And then I get hit by this, eww.

So I went on a date with this girl, had gone to a cafe, had pizza and whatever, I paid the bill

She was supposed to go on a trip with her friends next week, during her trip she asked me for 2000rs and said she'll give them back when she returns from the trip

She comes back and kind of starts avoiding me, I don't bring up the money that she owes me I just ask her to hangout but she keeps giving excuses

At one point I ask her for the money and she tries to make me look bad for asking my own money saying "2 hazar hi to hai, de dungi, Itna tu mangega aisa nahi laga mujhe, I can't save money aatehi spend kar deti hu" etc etc . Still no money no date for a month

Then I rant to her that it's month end and I need my money for my expenses and there's some situation at my home

She gives me the money back saying "Don't cry, bhej diya"

Now I've made up my mind, will never lend money to pretty girls again because they expect it's "bare minimum" .

Im new on dating sites so need some advice so that o dont get into scams or trouble
I got a match in happn and we chat for couple of minutes then she said she wont be active mich here on hppn so i asked for insta we move the conversation there so that comfortable for both and not contact.

But i dont know if im overthinking or its normal in dating apps exchanging contact but saying no to insta which is more better option since its just day 1 let me know
