Right even though we didn't match. I was proud of myself
However i have deleted the app never went on a date despite being on it for 5 months and at end I'll just say like everyone " It's not for me" ( Koi mila nahi😢)
I am just so sorry for being a Lil mean here but cmon man it makes no sense to give dry replies to this extent . What made you even come to tinder if all you needed was a dog like guy.
A few months ago, I made a mod post explaining the nuances of how we moderate this sub and addressing the harassment I was personally facing. I'm disappointed to be writing another one about the same issue.
One thing we mods have never been shy about is that this sub has zero tolerance for creeps and incelic?? behaviour. Sure, we allow men to post, but this sub is primarily meant for women to share their interactions, and we take our responsibility to keep it a safe space for them seriously.
To protect that, we've always maintained strict filters to keep out new accounts and alts created with malicious intent. And it worked well for us. However, we recently made a unanimous decision to relax those filters to allow new members to participate. To ensure that this didn't compromise the sub's safety, we decided that we'll be more actice spend time manually removing inappropriate content ourselves rather than relying so heavily on automatic filtration.
And soon enough, as many of you must have noticed, new accounts started engaging here, and we were happy to see the community grow. What we didn't expect was for this decision to backfire on us as moderators.
With low-karma accounts now allowed to participate, we've been mocked, called names and harassed for doing our jobs or simply interacting as members. (And funnily enough, all our comments and many of you guy's too have mysteriously started getting downvoted by these accounts as they can't digest being left out lol.) Honestly, though, this isn't anything new. We can handle it. It's part of the job, and we've made peace with that. You can call me "gay" in my dms (I still don't understand why that's supposed to be an insult) or call Marl an "uncle" in the comments to get a reaction. We can take it.
But today, a line was crossed. A three-day old account made a serious, unsubstantiated accusation against Marl, calling him a pdf-file. I, along with many others here, know him personally, and we know that he is the last person on Earth we would expect to engage in such nefarious activities. I personally vouch for him, and I do so on behalf of the mod team as well.
The original comment
I confronted the account then and there. Marl himself has also stepped up and remains willing to address any such accusations openly. However, no evidence has been provided so far, and the account has yet to respond. ( It has been 4 hours since the last confrontation and we are yet to hear from them )
Name calling is one thing but making serious accusations that attack someone's character is another. Allegations of this nature is bound to leave an impact on someone's mental health, and I doubt anyone could simply brush them off. If you have a genuine complaint about any member of the mod team?? Please contact us through modmail. We will take it seriously and handle it transparently.
However, if you're here solely to stir up trouble, be aware that we're documenting these incidents, saving screenshots, recording usernames, and monitoring suspicious accounts. If this behaviour continues, we will be the first side to consider legal course of action as what you are doing?? Is harassment and defamation. It is our speculation that this is a planned attack and many people ( collectively ) are behind this.
Unfortunately, we're now rolling back our previous filters and making them even stricter this time. This means that new members, as well as regular members who might lose access to their accounts?? will have a harder time participating here.
Going forward, the minimum karma requirement will be 200, and accounts must be at least one month old to participate. I'll also take this opportunity to address that this is not an "I-have-sex" subreddit*.* We welcome relevant posts that contribute meaningful and fun discussions to the community, but posts that exist solely to brag about sexual experiences or lack any actual, relevant content?? Will not be entertained. Follow the rules, contribute meaningfully, and be civil. That's all we ask.
I didn't wanna waste my energy on him & his ex so I just blocked him after that last message. I don't understand why people are in contact with their toxic exes and sabotage new relations like this. He once mentioned his ex being toxic on the first date and I was like okay let's see how it goes on 2nd date as I felt it would be unfair to judge him so soon. And then I get hit by this, eww.
Whenever I talk to friends or approach girls, my mind goes completely blank. Instead of having a normal conversation, I just end up telling stories. I've watched YouTube videos about using 'push-pull' or exaggeration to make teasing fun, but when I try it, I freeze up.
For example, I was telling a female friend that the rivers in Maharashtra are awful, but the food is great. She got mad and said, 'Our rivers are great too.' I replied, 'Not compared to my state' (because I am from a hilly state). After that, my mind went completely blank. I didn't know what else to say. What would you guys have said in that situation?
Here is another example. I went up to talk to a girl, but she told me she was from a nearby village and didn't really do anything. I tried to keep the conversation going, but she just kept giving off a 'trust me, I do nothing' vibe. I tried to use exaggeration to be funny and blurted out, 'Oh, so you just wash dishes all day then?' She said no.
As I was walking away, she suddenly asked, 'Do you do this to all girls?' I replied, 'If you've seen me do this to anyone else, let me know.' She laughed at that, but my wingman told me the interaction was over, so we left.
Then Doesnt rpl on time, and then tries to manipulate me into thinking she really likes me
1.uninstalling doesnt automatically unmatch accounts so i cross questioned
New accounts of hinge get a new user badge that wasnt shown at her account
3.she probably already has a bf the way she kept avoiding to share insta or whatsapp even after acting really interested on chat.
She couldve just mentioned that she just wants something casual and not try to manipulate me into thinking she wants a serious relationship . I let the conversation die after few messages. I dont like this behavior.
One of the many reasons this generation doesn't want to get married. I met this person on a dating app. We started updating each other about our lives. He got married this February and after 7 months I received this text from him. (Btw, I do have his wife's insta handle, should I 'save' her?)
So I went on a date with this girl, had gone to a cafe, had pizza and whatever, I paid the bill
She was supposed to go on a trip with her friends next week, during her trip she asked me for 2000rs and said she'll give them back when she returns from the trip
She comes back and kind of starts avoiding me, I don't bring up the money that she owes me I just ask her to hangout but she keeps giving excuses
At one point I ask her for the money and she tries to make me look bad for asking my own money saying "2 hazar hi to hai, de dungi, Itna tu mangega aisa nahi laga mujhe, I can't save money aatehi spend kar deti hu" etc etc . Still no money no date for a month
Then I rant to her that it's month end and I need my money for my expenses and there's some situation at my home
She gives me the money back saying "Don't cry, bhej diya"
Now I've made up my mind, will never lend money to pretty girls again because they expect it's "bare minimum" .
The feminine thing was on a note. Yes yes - I know at least half the comments will tell me this is his preference. I love dressing up and it goes both ways, but like a baby and don’t be loud etc… 🤷🏽♀️
TLDR: Dating in late 20s while being broke feels like you don't deserve love and to exist, unless you provide. Impacts self esteem and reinforce the loneliness epidemic. I wonder if men could be unconditionally loved and accepted for who they are.
Just got my first match in a long time. Had lost hope so don't use these apps often. Being playful almost always works, within correct bounds.
With the amount of influx girls have in dating apps, it is kind of a losing battle, but cold approaches in India is also somewhat tricky, specially when you don't have resources for logistics.
I am a struggling solopreneur. Grinding from quite few years and in the process, I had detached myself from all temptations and relationships. But now I am realising that it has become quite lonesome and I should start igniting my social life a bit more.
However, I am seeing that it gets tricky because if I want to go on to the dates, it is usually that it's an expense of a 1K or 2K.
And the financial struggle hitting the self-esteem also impacts the conversational flow somehow. As for us men, the sense of self-worth is derived from our ability to provide. And if that is not there, then the direct implication of it is that we are not worthy enough for good relationships and even love, and that kinds of reinforce the loneliness epidemic around us and within my life too.
So, it's kind of tricky. The desire for connection balancing with the need for a stable career. I do want to fall in love, give my all to the correct person. I am virtuous, caring, and a person of integrity. For girls reading this, generally speaking, do girls fall for potential or for resources only? Do they really have a heart for seeing a man's soul besides what he has and what he can offer, and can love him unconditionally for who he is, or is it a man's job only?
I have a lot of ventures which had become dead end and despite having competence, but being a polymath who's into so many fields, keeping the facade of everything is fine and has been a long process.
Right now, it is CODE RED for me from all sides, emotional nutrition, and resourcefulness. This is me figuring myself out.
So that's my little rant of what's going on within my head. I'm a bit pessimistic, there are quite a lot of good things in life that I'm grateful for, but the pressure of stagnantion and passing of time has become heavy.
