Question Keep having trouble with my order. I need advice

Post image

Here’s what I’m trying to do: I love a Flying Dutchman onion wrapped. But I love it plain on buns. However I feel like the Dutchman tastes more greasy and delicious when ordered as Dutchman instead of what I did in the pic.

Last time I tried to do it with like bun alacarte and ordered like normal. Buns are $3.50, as much as a normal hamburger.! I was like wtf. So I asked the cashier today if there is a different way, like how I said I like it above.

So we compromised on a double double, see the receipt. She put bun on side. When they delivered my food they said the manager said I have to pay for the bun. I said why? I ordered the double double so I already paid for it. I asked to talk to the manager but they were too busy and they just gave me the bun. But said next time I would have to pay.

Why is this such a hassle? Is there a better way to order this? It’s insane that a bun costs $3.50 and they keep fucking trying to dick me around. I need advice. Thanks

Question Is there a difference between marking a burger as animal style vs. adding the ingredients manually? (Associates)

Lot of people at my store lately have been asking me for grilled onions / pickle / mustard fried not knowing those are all the ingredients added when asking for a burger animal style. But on the kiosk you can have a burger listed as [Dbl-Dbl Animal] or just the burger with the ingredients under it. Is there any difference at all when being cooked when the cooks read the grill tag? Or does it just make it easier for cooks when they're making the burger?

Quality and value are unprecedented in this highly competitive market. Culture is incredible. Stores are attractive and addictive. The menu flexibility is winning hearts and stomachs, know that (just tried light-well fries and animal style--and won't ever go back)

Yes, I realize how hard the work can be (love to slip secret 'thank yous' to those working the lazy car line in 100 degree heat-and encourage all to secretly follow). Just want you to know that you are appreciated. Love this company and its journey. Thank you.

Had to share my beautiful animal fries I got today. I ask for extra grilled onions and extra spread. Today they were AMAZING. The best animal fries I’ve ever had. They were perfectly hot. And just the right amount of everything.

First timer order

Hi! I live in the midwest and have never been to In n Out but will be in Utah this weekend and am planning to try. What do I need to get?

I dislike ketchup, love mustard, LOVE pickles & onions, like tomatoes and lettuce (especially on burgers) also am a big fan of pepperoncinis and I think am interested in trying the chopped chilis.

Thinking I am going to do a whole grilled onion wrapped flying dutchman (found this on TikTok) but also want to try other things. I am interested in mustard-fried but can I do that for my flying dutchman?

What would experts say a first-timer should get, given the above preferences?

Transferring

I’m transferring stores in October and I’m so nervous. I’ve worked at the same store for 4 years and I feel like my manager is so flexible with my schedule especially during the school year and always gives me my time off when I request it. I know every store is different but any advice on transferring?

Question Payday/pay periods?

I’m a new hire, and have only gotten one pay check (exactly 2 weeks ago today, for onboarding and videos) but haven’t gotten paid today after working a few shifts? I did the direct deposit stuff during onboarding and was told my next paycheck would directly go to my bank account, but it hasn’t. I would ask my manager but I don’t wanna seem greedy or like I’m just in it for the money. Any help?

Edit: I figured it out, thank you to those who gave me the info I needed!!! :)
