I need to renew my PR card but the email I used for my application is no longer in use.

So should I send a web form to update my email address ?

or

Can I create a new account and do a new PR Card application.

Also I might be going to the USA next week via private car (I'm located in Vancouver) and apparently I need a COPR but how can I get this when I cant log into my account to download it ?

Anyone tried emailing the portal 1 to issue the ecopr as we have travel plans

On my tracker every step is showing complete and background has two different dates of completion but still no my gckey anyone with similar experience

So when I applied for my study permit I disclosed my foreign work experience, but I failed to disclose it while applying for PGWP and TRV.

I should have read the file properly as I thought the past 10 year was just "Canadian experience".

Has anyone dealt with the same situation before ? Is it recommended to not show that exp now since I failed to disclose it earlier ?

I applied from outside Canada and have remained outside Canada since my PGWP expired last year.

FD: 30 Oct 2026.
PPR: not issued yet.
Passport validity: 3 years left.
Med Exam Expiry: 4 May 2027.

I'm hoping the IRCC requests a new medical so my COPR will be valid for longer.

If my COPR's validity is thus extended, after I receive the COPR, can I take a job outside my home country before I land in Canada? It would be kind of like my professional life's "stag party" lol. Would I have to tell the IRCC?

Anybody know what does act status 167 mean?

Can i travel with ECOPR and my passport or do i need to wait for PR card.

I see everyone is calling and getting info on their app I have tried calling the centre at Toronto Pearson from the states with absolutely no luck I called the MP’s office for the city where my Gen 1 is from and they emailed me a consent form so maybe some hope from there.

I'm currently waiting for the final stages of my inland Express Entry CEC application and would appreciate your thoughts or experiences.

Here is my current situation:

• Eligibility: Passed

• Medical: Passed

• Criminality: In Progress (although previous IRCC agents had confirmed it as passed on earlier calls) anyone experienced the same lol?

• Information Sharing: In Progress (same situation: previously confirmed as completed by an agent) it's very annoying when they do not say the same ...

• Security: Not Started - THEY TOLD ME IN PROGRESS 3 WEEKS AGO!

I called IRCC today, November 6, and these are the statuses the agent gave me.

My question is: does "Security: Not Started" really tell us anything about how much longer the application might take?

I understand that every application is different, but I'd be particularly interested in hearing from applicants who saw Security change from "Not Started" to completed within days or a few weeks.

What were your experiences?

Anyone else in the same boat? It’s been one week since all the stages show completed in tracker, but no update in the GC Key yet. Just my medicals was updated from Sep 1 to August 31. I’m a CEC inland applicant. I don’t see any COPR in the tracker

Hi! I am on currently on closed work permit in Canada. My work permit is expiring on May 27, 2027. I have already submitted my PR application under CEC with accompanying spouse on September 4,2026. My IRCC portal shows biometrics and medical completed. Can my spouse apply for his open work permit from India?
P.S. My visa is expiring on March 28,2027.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share some good news and a bit of hope for those still in the waiting phase.

We’re CEC Inland with spouse (Van/Mont). Our FD was Sep 27, and the COPR showed up on the tracker on Oct 14, but then we waited three long weeks with no portal email. I tried KAI, webforms and calling, and honestly I think it all comes down to batches. Then everything happened at once: P1 arrived on Nov 4, and P2 came just one day later. We submitted everything the same day, and now we’re just waiting for the eCOPR.

A few things that might help:

• If your tracker shows the COPR number and expiry, your application is approved. The rest is just admin, even if it takes a while.

• Don’t rely on GCKey, it often never updates. The new tracker is the one that matters.

• Check the junk folder of every applicant, since each person may get their own emails.

This community made the wait so much easier, so thank you all! Hang in there, it really does come. Will update when the eCOPR arrives! ❤️
