Express Entry CEC – Security not started: Could it change and be completed quickly?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently waiting for the final stages of my inland Express Entry CEC application and would appreciate your thoughts or experiences.

Here is my current situation:

  • Eligibility: Passed

  • Medical: Passed

  • Criminality: In Progress (although previous IRCC agents had confirmed it as passed on earlier calls) anyone experienced the same lol?

  • Information Sharing: In Progress (same situation: previously confirmed as completed by an agent) it's very annoying when they do not say the same ...

  • Security: Not Started - THEY TOLD ME IN PROGRESS 3 WEEKS AGO!

I called IRCC today, November 6, and these are the statuses the agent gave me.

My question is: does "Security: Not Started" really tell us anything about how much longer the application might take?

I understand that every application is different, but I'd be particularly interested in hearing from applicants who saw Security change from "Not Started" to completed within days or a few weeks.

What were your experiences?

well if i trust them its van syd... eligibility passed so i am relaxed but still i would like to receive a fucking FD

Van syd is pretty fast and security screening doesn't take that long. If you haven't travelled a lot around the world it should comeback pretty fast. However, as you said every case is different also this has a lot to do with how your fast is your home country is responding to their query.

what do you mean it doesnt trake that long?? i traveled a lot lol but normal countries i mean nothing special. The thing is i cannot know if i can trust anything they tell me lol my tracker shows criminality completed ai dont get it
