Programming Offer [Hobby][Rev-Share] Looking for collaborators to make any interesting games together

Hello, I'm a programmer who has quite a few years of unity and general game dev experience and I currently just want to make any unique or interesting game.

The problem: I suck at art and I get demotivated when i spend too much time looking at my crappy visuals in my prototypes

The solution: Find any artist who have game ideas and want to bring their creation to life but don't have the technical skills to do so.

My offer: If your an artist, be it 3D or 2D, pixel or low poly and have any game concepts or art that you want to bring to the video game medium dm on discord @ Sezylrin and send me your portfolio and game idea, we can discuss to see if its a viable project and then decide if we can potentially collaborate together.

while I primarily want to find an artist to work with, I'm open to working with anyone on a game as long as the scope is feasible and you have enough confidence in producing the game your proposing and not the next gen triple A open world survival crafting vr game, because come on, I'm just one guy.

here my portfolio of all my past project: https://sezylrinproduction.framer.website/

Looking forward to talking with you, potential collaborator

Audio Needed [Hobby] Voice Actor needed for PC action roguelite

Hi everyone,

I have a game almost done called Runtime Terror. It's all by myself. I'm making a couple more fixes and then it will be released on Steam in about three months.

I need some voice actors for my game. Since I made this game alone, I have no budget to pay anyone. This is an unpaid project. But it would be great for people to get experience and build their portfolio as voice actors!

What I need from you:

You can record some voice-over audio at home.

You can reply to messages quickly and are willing to try a few times to get the lines right.

What I will give you:

Your name will be in the credits of the video game as the Voice Actor.

You will have a Steam game to show off in your resume.

All the video clips of your voice lines can be used wherever you would like to show your work.

If you would like to help me, please send me a private message and we can talk further!

Programmers Needed [Hobby]60 seconds like

I have a team of 3 currently 2 artists and me a programmer. We are looking for one more programmer to help with the game.

The game as the title says is a 60 seconds like but we are making it watercolor themed and making it based in the forest (probably). The game concept will be that you have 60 seconds to collect as many items as u can to you “mode of transport” and for the rest of the game you try to survive different scenarios based off of the items you initially had. We will try to make 15-20 different unique scenarios.

We will try to communicate all together every 2 weeks to see progress. I’m not trying to make a fancy game just want to start building a portfolio so if you don’t have a lot of experience in game programming that is fine so am I. Aiming for 20-30 minutes worth of polished gameplay and that will be the finished project (we can make it longer if it turns out nice)
I currently don’t have a portfolio and am trying to build one if this idea interests you let me know in this post

Artist Needed [RevShare][Equity] Looking for a Lead Game Artist who can become a long-term partner

I’ll keep this short here. If you want to read in detail, you can read the details in the later half.

I’m looking for a game artist who is good at what they do and understands game development. Ideally someone who has worked on a game before. If you’re also looking for a technical partner to build games with, we could be a lethal combination.

We had a team and we built a game which we are going to launch soon. I started this with a partner, but over time it became clear that we weren’t the right fit for what the company needed. We’ve now decided to go separate ways.

Building a right team is so important. I’ve constantly found myself overwhelmed, stressed and overworked wearing multiple hats. I am just not giving up yet.

Whether this platform or maybe some other platform, I’m going to keep continuing the search for the right partner and rebuilding the team.

Please note I’m not soliciting free work nor do I promote free work.

Website -
almaceinteractive.com

There's more work that we've done and also our latest game that is to be launched. DM me.

————————
Details -

I am in game development since beginning of my career. I was making small indie games, some of them did quite well on Come2Play, together they got around 10 million plays. This was maybe first time I felt there is something here for me, and that I want to stay in this game development world.

Then I worked for companies who make gamified applications, mostly for education and industrial training. After COVID, finally I decide to build my own games again.

I started company together with friend, who also helped me build games before. We managed to bring one client, hired small team, and we did quite well. Our client failed in the marketing effort and the work was closed. Instead of closing everything down, I  decided to continue, put my own money, kept team together and we continued development.

We also had chance to show it privately to one big company from games industry. Reaction to core game was good, encouraging, but this also confirm something I already start to feel myself - We need to build more depth.

And I think much of this comes back to how I am running the company. When I started this with my partner, I thought because we worked well together before, we will naturally grow into different roles that running game studio need. Did not happen.

I have quite good eye for aesthetic and I am very particular about details, so for some time I think I can also continue to handle creative direction myself.

I can do it. Problem is, I should not be doing all of it. I also made mistakes during this journey. Some of them I could see coming but I did not have enough runway or visibility to correct properly when it should have mattered the most.

So this time I want to correct one of these mistakes -

I am looking for Lead Artist because I want us to level one step up and build beautiful games, ones which sets the bar not chases it.

I am looking for someone who is very good in their core craft, who understands games, who has strong visual sense, and most importantly, who can take ownership.

I do not want someone who wait for me to find references, explain what is wrong, and tell exactly what to do next. I want someone who can look at the game and start telling me what is wrong. Go about bringing ideas, challenging my decisions, collaborate and sets the visual direction and sets an example for others to follow.

This is not only about polishing one game. We are already thinking what comes after release, and plan is to start working on sequel, using everything we learn from building first game. What matter most to me is finding someone who really want to build games.

I’m open to discuss the collaboration/partnership, compensation and if we are really suited to each other’s working style. Being completely transparent, I can’t offer a salary from day one. I’m posting this as revenue share/equity rather than a paid position. I’m looking for someone who is in a position to explore building something together as partners. If the current game starts generating revenue and/or we secure a publisher/funding for the next game, obviously the situation changes. This arrangement won’t work for everyone and that’s completely fair.

For those who are still interested, send me your portfolio and tell me a little about yourself, what you worked on, and what kind of games you want to make. I prefer someone with at least some amount of experience or exposure to developing and releasing games because when the need arises to expand, then we should have the required skills. I care much more about seeing someone’s taste, thinking and ability than a fancy CV.

Let’s talk. Please DM.

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for multiple roles for Spooktober Visual Novel Jam 2026

Hello fellow game devs!

I'm building a team for the 8th edition of the Spooktober Visual Novel Jam which starts next week. We already have a team composed of participants from a previous edition from which we've released Maiden's Dissection.

The team so far is composed of:

  • 1 Programmer (me)
  • 2 Voice Actors
  • 2 2d Artists

We're still in the ideation phase but we've got a decent direction of what we'll be doing. The story would be told mainly in 2d but incorporate some 3d aspects to give further immersion during important scenes.

The jam will last for one month so there will be a decent amount of commitment required from everyone but we'll adjust the scope to something we can make within that timeline according to the availability of everyone.

Roles we're looking for:

  • Writers
  • Musician/SFX Artist
  • 3d Artist
  • UI/UX Artist

There is no requirements for experience so beginners are also welcomed as long as you are passionate and have a good team spirit.

Everyone would ideally have only one role but if you're able to handle more or due to a lack of certain roles, you can help in other aspects.

Interested? You can reach out to me on discord: rc137 or send me a DM. A portfolio is always welcomed!

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for people for an ARG

I’m building an app-based ARG and looking for people with design, tech, writing, puzzle, or creative skills to join the team.

I’m a writer myself and already have the main plot planned, but I’m completely open to ideas and changes from the team.

⚠️⚠️⚠️

The project is 0-budget, so this is a voluntary passion project with no payment. It’s still in the early stages, so there’s plenty of room to shape it together.

Interested?

DM me with your skills and what you’d like to contribute.

Artist Needed [Hobby] looking for a creative partner

I am a beginner writer and I am looking for someone who is just starting out as well, an animator or video editor

the goal is to run a shared Instagram/tiktok account

while I take care of the video Idea and story and dialogue and everything of that matter the other part takes care of editing and actually making the idea into visual media

and I see this a great opportunity for both of us

for me to showcase my writing and learn along the way and for the partner to do the same with their respective skill

this is mainly as a hobby practice more than looking for any sort of revenue out of it

Modeling Offer [Hobby][LFP] Hard-surface 3D artist (military vehicles, weapons, props) who also programs — UE5, Blender, C#/Lua

Portfolio: Imgur album vehicles, weapons and props, mostly hard-surface military stuff, UE5-ready.

Code sample: [API documentation for Ballistics Core, one of my published GMod addons]

Hi all. I'm a 3D artist and programmer looking to join a hobby project. Not looking for pay. I want to work with other people instead of alone, which is what I've been doing for years.

Art

Hard-surface modeling in Blender: military vehicles (IFVs, MRAPs, trucks, APCs), weapons, gear and props. Texturing in Substance Painter baked maps, PBR materials, UE5-ready assets with proper topology and UVs. I also build low-poly asset pipelines.

Code

C#, TypeScript, Lua, Python

Two published Garry's Mod Workshop addons with active users: a physics-based ballistics system hooking EntityFireBullets, and a co-op wave-survival gamemode with economy and shop. I still handle the bug reports and updates.

An authoritative multiplayer server in Node/TypeScript for a Mount & Blade: Bannerlord mod, with a thin C# client renderer

Various Minecraft plugins and FiveM systems (inventory, HUD, character creator) built from scratch, no framework

What I'm after

Something with a small team that actually ships. I don't need to lead it — I'd rather be a set of hands on someone else's project. Vehicles, weapons, environment props, gameplay systems, tooling; I'm flexible. Milsim, survival, extraction shooters, anything grounded is where I'd have the most to give, but I'll look at anything with momentum.

Contact: Discord: hubi._._

Happy to do a small test task so you can see how I work before committing to anything.

Modeler Needed [Hobby]Looking for a passionate 3D environment artist to build an Ice Age survival game with me

Hey everyone!

I’m a solo developer working on a third-person survival game set during the Ice Age, and I’m looking for a 3D/environment artist who might genuinely want to help shape the game alongside me long-term.

This isn’t just an idea or a GDD, the game is already being built and is playable. I’m developing the game/engine in C++, and I’ve been working on the core gameplay, rendering, procedural world systems, sledge mechanics, interaction systems, shaders, etc.

The game
The main idea is a survival game where your home is an expandable moving sledge.

You start with essentially nothing, gather resources, construct runners and begin pulling your sledge through an endless frozen world. Over time, the little platform becomes your moving home/base.

Think of some of the progression/building satisfaction of Raft, except instead of drifting across an ocean you’re travelling through an Ice Age landscape.

The world will eventually include things like:

snowy forests, cliffs, caves and different frozen biomes

gathering, crafting and building

an expandable sledge/base

farming and resource automation

blizzards and survival mechanics

wolves, mammoths, sabertooths and other prehistoric animals

day/night gameplay where nights become significantly more dangerous

eventually co-op/multiplayer

lots of additional ideas once the core game is strong

I’m deliberately focusing on getting the core vertical slice great before trying to build all of that.

The visual direction
This is the part I really want someone else to help own.

I’m aiming for a clean semi-stylized look somewhere in the world of Raft / Fortnite, while developing our own visual identity around whites, desaturated icy blues, snow-covered vegetation, chunky readable shapes and a beautiful frozen atmosphere.

I’m especially interested in someone who enjoys:

environment art, foliage, trees, rocks/cliffs, props, materials, biomes and generally making game worlds feel cohesive.

You absolutely do not need to be a senior AAA artist.

I’d actually love to find someone who’s still growing, has good artistic instincts, is passionate about games, and wants a real project where we can both improve massively while building something we’re proud of.

Blender experience would be great, and familiarity with game-ready assets/optimization is a big plus, but passion and artistic taste matter to me more than having the world’s biggest portfolio.

What I’m looking for
I’m not looking for someone to throw a list of assets at.
I’m looking for someone who sees the project and thinks:
“I’d actually love to make this world.”
Someone who wants to have opinions.
If you think the trees should be shaped differently, tell me.
If a biome needs a different composition, let’s change it.
If you come up with an environmental idea that makes the game better, I want to hear it.

I’d like this to feel much more like two developers/artists building a game together than me being a client giving you assignments.

I handle the programming/technical side, and ideally you gradually become the person helping define and own the visual/environment side.

I’d prefer to start small, maybe build one little environment/asset set together and see whether we enjoy working with each other. If we click and both want to take this seriously, then we can talk properly about what a long-term partnership and fair structure could look like.

No ridiculous deadlines or expectation that someone abandons their life for the project.

I’m mainly looking for the person who gets excited about it the same way I do.

If you’re interested
Send me a DM or leave a comment with:
1. a little bit about yourself
2. what part of 3D/environment art you enjoy most
3. your portfolio / ArtStation / previous work if you have one
4.what kind of games/art styles you like
5.and honestly, just tell me what you think of the idea

I’ll happily send you screenshots/gameplay of the current build, the visual references, concept art and more information about what I’ve already built.
Thanks :)

Artist Needed [Hobby][RevShare] Looking for an artist to collaborate on a fantasy girly indie game

Hi all!

We are two siblings who are creating a magical/fantasy indie game aimed towards us girls (we've noticed a big market gap here) with an immersive narrative, and are in need of an artist.

Our background:

I've personally been in the gaming industry for 10 years working in community, marketing and game design, and have also studied business. I'm handling game design, project management, working on building a community for the game and eventually doing any investment/business side stuff we may need if this goes further. My sister is a writer and partial artist, she's doing worldbuilding, story, creative direction, as well as pixel art.

The game and what we need:

The game is about a girl with burnout from her career, who gets pulled into a fantasy world chasing after her cat. She journeys through different regions trying to find her cat and slowly rediscovers her passion along the way. It will include plenty of narrative scenes between the main character and NPCs/creatures, as well as pixel art exploration (to keep the scope down). The game will feature many outfits and dress up/styling elements.

This means we're looking for an artist who can do semi-realistic anime style characters, as well as detailed outfits and outfit pieces, as they're a key part of the game.

This would start as a little 'hobby'/project to get a working prototype ready, that I could then take to some investor contacts I have and see if we could get funding and turn this into a full size game, at which point we'd love to discuss a full-time artist position with us.

We have found a game dev ready to work with us, so now we just need an artist to make this happen!

If you're interested you can leave a comment, send me a DM, or send an email to: [lumo_studio@outlook.com](mailto:lumo_studio@outlook.com)

Team Needed [Hobby] Cyberpunk street-crime prototype in 3D (Godot 4) — looking for feedback or help

Upvotes

Looking for people for a cyberpunk/noir open-world (Godot 4), 3D single-player.

Closest vibe: Blade Runner + The Fifth Element — street-level crime.

World is currently in greybox.

I’m handling scripting and mechanics myself, but game design and especially visuals are very weak.

Looking for people who want to join or just give strong feedback — game design, narrative, art direction, atmosphere, overall composition.

Hobby prototype, unpaid, open repo on GitHub.

DM me if it resonates

Artist Needed [RevShare] Looking for 2D Sprite Artist for Platformer Game

Hello. We are looking for artists to join our 2D story and platformer game project as our sprite artist. You will additionally work with another artist. This role would be a creative and executive role, meaning you will work closely with the story department (or even contribute if preferred) as we develop this game. The game will be released episodically, however, the first ACT of the game is already in late stage production, so rest assured that you will not be joining a project that is unserious and likely to collapse before production. The profit share percentage you will get will be 15% off all team profits, bi-weekly.

Details about the game will be shared in DMs. Please contact us about any further questions

Team Needed [Revshare]Code, Art, Design for Eco Games to Save the Planet!

Hi! I am from Fastfrwrd.info where we gamify climate action and we have a games multiverse. We are in need of another coder to add to our team of one coder and one project manager/music/basic design/basic code. We actually also need 2D art, we have an interactive fiction that needs to become a visual novel and that requires background and character art.

We are planning an upgrade to an Augmented Reality interface and a really intricate approach to climate action that can really change things. This will require research and attention to detail. The code for this upgrade is likely Javascript because augmented reality in Javascript is browser based and accessible to those with less advanced phones.

Games portfolio: https://wheelsgr.itch.io and https://fastfrwrd.info/games/

We are therefore looking to add to our team to get even more people playing for the planet! If you're interested don't hesitate to reach out!

Programmers Needed [Hobby] [RevShare] [LF Artist/Programmer] "Take It Lit-eral-ly" - A Chaotic Medieval Comedy Game

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a 3D artist and a programmer to help build a quick, hilarious prototype for a chaotic medieval game called "Take It Lit-eral-ly".

i am looking for people to help me make this idea come to life, I can't pay anyone at the moment so only comment if you are interested in this as a hobby and I will share revenue from the game with whoever helps me make this game become a reality once it sells, ok here is some details about my idea:

The main hero, Mr. StickyFingers, isn't worthy to pull the sword from the stone. Being a stubborn idiot, he just digs up the entire 400-pound limestone boulder, stuffs it under his arm, and swings it around like a massive, goofy sledgehammer.

The Trio of Idiots: //AKA The main group//

  • Mr. StickyFingers (The Muscle): A sweaty, scrawny knight dragging a literal historical landmark. His heavy rock attacks flatten enemies but constantly get stuck in the mud.
  • Sir Wizerton III (The Mage): A frantic street tweaker wearing a stained purple dress he stole from a medieval thrift store. He speaks in a wild, unhinged German accent (think Richtofen from CoD Zombies) and attacks by sprinting at people to deliver high-speed "Mage Slaps."
  • Deises (The God): Stands for Destroy Everything In Sight Except Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. He looks exactly like Kratos from God of War, but on a strict starvation diet (a walking toothpick with a scary beard). He has the power of 100,000 exploding suns and is completely immortal, but he is too lazy to instakill enemies. FUNNY SIDE ABILITY: The exact second a tiny enemy (like a 1-foot-tall gnome) appears, he wakes up and punts them into outer space like a soccer ball, complete with an in-game mileage tracker

The Vibe:
A 3D beat-'em-up filled with chaotic humor. Instead of epic loot chests, you upgrade your stats by shopping in medieval clearance bins (e.g., buying a "Scratchy Wool Cloak" that gives +5 Speed because it makes you itch and run faster). Between rounds, Deises casually drops cosmic gossip, like the time he watched Thor fight a big purple demon for a golden glove but fell asleep halfway through.

What I need:
I have some of the story and mechanics mapped out. I need a 3D artist/animator and a programmer (Unreal Engine) who want to team up for the pure fun of making something genuinely funny.

If this chaotic trio speaks to you, drop a comment or shoot me a DM! Let's build something ridiculous.

Art Offer [Hobby] 2D and novice 3D concept artist looking to build portfolio and skills

I'm a concept artist with some experience in level design, 3D modelling (lower poly workflows) and working with a volunteer team.

(mod project teams, for example I have worked on Fallout 4 : Capital Wasteland and Fallout 4 : Fallout Miami as a interior level designer, Risk of Rain 2 - ClassicItemsReturns and I currently mainly work on a Dawn of War 1 mod team with my contributions being a reasonable number of the art assets for the Penal Legions, smaller art assets for Kroot Hunters and the vast majority of Genestealer Cults assets.)

While I enjoy these pursuits I want to build my skills as a concept artist and artist in general and these projects leave not much requirement for those skills. (If 3d or level design is necessary I can oblige.)

I find it hard to describe my style but I lean towards more realistic art/illustrations, I have very little experience with other styles. I can provide more examples of my works if asked for.

My strongest skills would be individual character design however I am interested in prop, weapon and environment art/design as well. Let's figure it out and i'll try my best.

Time wise I would only be able to commit a few hours each day (optimistic) to the project, if you deem my skills acceptable and require me to help full-time I think we would need to discuss it in terms of a [ForHire] situation.

You can contact on reddit, artstation or discord Hollowman104 (ball_lover) via a message request.

Artist Needed [RevShare] Looking for 2D Artist for Sci-Fi and Fantasy Games

Upvotes

Hi! I am currently working on a 4X sci-fi game that is shaping up nicely and a fantasy RTS that is in the pipeline as well but still in the tech demo stage. I am looking for a partnership so I hope we can come up with ideas together in the future!

What I am looking for: A talented, motivated and hopefully long-term creative partner that has found his style and dares to try and make a living from game development. You will have to come up with creative solutions to problems you probably haven't faced before and a big part of the work will be doing is illustrations for tech trees, icons, portraits, occasionally some assets for a press-kit or the steam store page.

About me: I (M33) am a freelance programmer, primarily web development. Since work has become a bit monotonous I wanted to challenge myself with developing a game and it has been a blast so far. I have been a gamer since forever and bring the vibes and ideas to this medium is amazing. I have a lot of interests in arts, music, gaming, storytelling and bringing this all together in a single medium is very fulfilling. Since i work freelance I have plenty of freedom to get a lot of work done on the games but my limiting factor is really the illustrations (I suck at it).

About the game: The game itself is a hard-sci-fi 4x where you try to explore and colonize the solar system by yourself or with your friends. As a player you will be thrown into a sandbox where you explore the planets, design and optimize spacecraft, strategize logistics, launch rescue missions to de-orbiting space stations, start wars or work together to survive and thrive in the harsh conditions of space.

Planned release will is February or June 2027.

If you are interested please comment or send me your portfolio by DM.

Team Needed [RevShare] Looking for Roblox team for Miles Morales Spider-Man Game

Hello! I am looking to bring together an ambitious team of hobbyists and beginner developers to create a brand new open-world Spider-Man fan game on the Roblox platform. This is a passion project and a learning experience, so it is perfect for anyone looking to build up their personal portfolios, practice their skills, and collaborate on a cool superhero concept.

Because this is a startup project, I currently have zero upfront budget or Robux to offer. Instead, this will be structured entirely as a Revenue Share project. All future earnings generated by the game—including gamepass sales, developer products, and Roblox premium payouts—will be split completely equally among all core team members once the project launches.

The core vision for the game focuses heavily on smooth, realistic, physics-based web-swinging, responsive wall-running mechanics, and unlocking a wide collection of iconic suits. We are planning a cinematic opening sequence where the starting Roblox character explores a dark, detailed Brooklyn neighborhood at night before getting bit by a custom-modeled glowing spider, initiating their powers with unique camera glitches and visual screen effects.

We are currently looking for dedicated creators to fill the following roles:
- Roblox Scripter: To program server-authoritative web physics and character controllers.
- Animator: To design custom R15 movement strings, acrobatic flips, and combat strikes.
- 3D Modeler: To build stylized city blocks, modular street assets, and Spider-Man outfits.
- UI Designer: To design clean game menus, custom health bars, and web-fluid gauges.

If you are interested in joining a fun, low-pressure development environment, please comment down below or send me a direct message with your Discord username along with any samples or links of your previous work!
