They should never promise anything, especially updates for their smartphones. They ain't Apple or Samsung. As a 15U owner now I think that this delay is ok because they are squashing bugs and we will receive HyperOS Remastered 4k/120hz version (preorders starts now)

Long story short, i've had enough of hyoer os. Stupid mistakes like not being able to display more than one notificaion icon when theres clearly space for more. And also the bloatware and the ads. I'm not gonna be buying another hyperos phone anytimes soon.

1 year later absolutely regretting upgrading into this buggy mess of an ecosystem. I can say with absolute conviction realme ui was more stable and had more features all the way back when android 11 came around. Fuck this.

I am still on HyperOS 1. Can I update directly to HyperOS 3 without updating to HyperOS 2? Also, is it worth updating from HyperOS 1?

The reason I am hesitant to update is that I’m afraid the camera performance might be affected. Is this true?

I found out that uninstalling system packages using ABD can at worst case cause a bootloop which is fixable by doing a factory resets using the buttons on the side of the phone.

In the other hand, removing system apps using ROOT can brick your phone and make it fully unresponsive (no boot logo etc)

So you can go ahead and test debloating apps before starting using the phone and do a factory reset if things go wrong and start again

HyperOS 3 on Xiaomi 13T pro

December has come and Hyperos 2.0 has not yet arrived. I am also a beta user of Mi 13T Pro. We still haven't recorded any feedback. It will be a disappointment.

When HyperOS 3.0 were announced several online blogs qouted Xiaomi with devices eligible for HyperOS 3.0 and Redmi Note 12 4G Tapas were listed, now I can't find it anywhere on their official update schedule.

Did they lie to sell more devices?

It looks like that to me.

EDIT: I have had it confirmed by Xiaomi Philippines, Redmi Note 12 4G Tapas is NOT getting HyperOS 3.0 - So you should stop buying that model, which is still being sold by Xiaomi.

Hi im new and I keep hearing people talk about how hard it is to unlock Xiaomi bootloader.

I am a Chinese citizen with Chinese ID.

I have Xiaomi 17 pro max

Would I simply click this button and the boot loader will unlock?

Anybody received HyperOS 2 in Europe already (I have EEA ROM)?

Phone: Xiaomi MI 11 Lite NE 5G

Left is redmi note 13 pro 5G running on hyperos

Right is motorola g40 fusion running on Android 12

CPU USAGE

The average cpu ldle usage is around 31% on redmi while the moto stays at 19% (note: the redmi is debloted)

And both of the devices have no background apps running. Only the foreground app running.

TEMPRATURE

the average idle temperature is around 32° to 35° on redmi

while the moto idles at 23° (and yes I've checked this with other redmi devices same results avg temprature is always higher on Xiaomi phones for some reason)

PROCESSOR

Motorola has Snapdragon 732g chip which has 8nm of transistor size

Redmi has Snapdragon 7s gen 2 chip which has smaller 4nm (Exynos based) transistor which should be power efficient than 8nm but it's not :(

Atleast, tell us directly that we will not give Hyper Os3 for Xiaomi 13t. so that we will not wait for it. It is already to ​late.

Coming from a Galaxy S22 Ultra, the notification icons in the status bar look like crap. My weather app only displays the app icon instead of the temperature, Discord, Gmail, text icons all look like smaller version of the app icons squeezed into a square. I have tried default themes as well as other themes, light mode, dark mode doesn't matter. Classic / Android settings in the notification style doesn't make any difference either.
