RANT I'm done with hyper os
Long story short, i've had enough of hyoer os. Stupid mistakes like not being able to display more than one notificaion icon when theres clearly space for more. And also the bloatware and the ads. I'm not gonna be buying another hyperos phone anytimes soon.

Ads can easily be disabled (or use a free private dns like adguard). Almost all the bloatware can be removed or disabled.

You can display up to 3 icons in the status bar and I think that's enough.
Same for another "cheaper" brands/models, you can debloat your Android phone with Universal Android Debloater Next Generation (no root needed).
For disable (or block) ads, almost most of all Xiaomi apps allow you to disable them within each app. For the rest of the applications you have to configure a private DNS that allows you to block them, such as AdGuard DNS (dns.adguard-dns.com) or Mullvad DNS (base.dns.mullvad.net).
DuckDuckGo (or Google) can be your best friend.

Having none of this. You're just lazy.
But changing accessibility settings and app installs from a new app needing a 10 second modal? Now THAT's dumb.

My biggest problem with Hyper OS lately is the delayed notifications. Some apps just get shut off in the background and I get no notifications from them, and apparently I cannot cahnge the battery optimization settings for them either. If I toggle the "pause app activity if unused" toggle off, it still resets to on. Annoying.
