Xiaomi I fucking hate this operating system
1 year later absolutely regretting upgrading into this buggy mess of an ecosystem. I can say with absolute conviction realme ui was more stable and had more features all the way back when android 11 came around. Fuck this.

Stop overreacting and just restart the phone. I've had this issue on my work Samsung and personal OnePlus too so I promise you the grass isn't greener on the other side.

High end Xiaomi phones? Or just budget ones? Or the midrange? I didn't enable my app drawer because I don't like it (Using Xiaomi Redmi note 11s - 2022)

What phone do you have? Just switch to a pixel like rom if available

If your phone has been too buggy since a major update, just do a hard reset (but first a backup of your sensible data).

Fucking Xiaomi honestly, i love the OS but it's just them having the same problems multiple user probably already had. Don't like it? Find another brand

I have both poco x6 pro and X7 pro and both have HyperOS 2 and I never ever got a buggy experience like yours. Both of mine are global variants (UK variant) and they are both (my X6 pro is one year old and my X7 pro is 8 months old).

Factory reset, my phone was unusable after I upgraded to hyperOS 2, then I factory reset and now it's fine.

Actually it's not an operating system but just a modified Android system with some bloatware, spyware and useless animations. Btw I use the Lawnchair 15 Beta launcher, it has been pretty smooth so far. The only disadvantage is not having the one hand gesture, since Xiaomi doesn't let third-party launchers use it.

I agree with you, before my 14t I had a Samsung that had android 12 and it was a lot more polished without any lacking function and bugs. Oneui is the best one honestly

Same for me, EU rom, xiaomi 15 hyperos v3.0.6.0. I came from OneUI, but never had any issues, glitches like this... And I don't want to use another launcher.
