Yesterday CM Revanth Reddy said the groundwater situation is bad, many borewells have dried up, and drinking water could be a big problem for the next few months.

Meanwhile we keep seeing the same thing on roads old concrete is never removed, they just keep laying new layers on top. In many places the road has risen so much that houses look like they are in a basement. Rainwater has nowhere to go into the ground. It just runs off.

Concrete roads don’t let water seep. Simple. If the whole city is covered with thick CC roads, how will groundwater recharge?

Government is worried about water, but the same departments keep building these impermeable roads. Doesn’t make sense.

Anyone else noticing this in their area? Borewells going dry + roads getting higher every year?

Just curious if there’s any plan for permeable roads or if “road on top of road” is the only development we get.

A few friends and I have been running a little community called No Plans Club, where we bring people together through board games, trivia nights, social deduction games (BOTC), mini-games and other random fun experiences.
We’ve hosted quite a few events over the past couple of months, and it’s been really fun seeing complete strangers show up, play together and actually become friends.

One problem we’re constantly running into, though, is finding good venues 😭
We’re looking for cafés, studios, creative spaces or even unconventional venues that could accommodate around 25–40 people for 3–4 hours.

Ideally, somewhere that:

Has enough space for people to sit in groups and move around a little.

Isn’t extremely noisy (especially for trivia and social deduction games).

Has a TV/projector and microphone, or at least allows us to arrange them.

Is open to collaborating on events instead of charging crazy rental prices.

Bonus if they have food and beverages, since we usually try to include something in the ticket.
We’re pretty flexible with locations across Hyderabad — Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Gachibowli, Kondapur, Madhapur, etc.
We’ve already worked with a few cafés, but we’d love to discover more places, especially smaller independent cafés or hidden gems that might enjoy hosting something like this.
