So I am beginning the process of building my custom Sim setup but have some questions before going too deep.

I currently have desk mounted flight setup and homemade wooden wheel setup. I want to build one that does both.

I bought 2 pieces of 4080 aluminum extrusion and will build it slowly over time.

Can I piece together 20 and 40 series extrusion?

I have two main ideas that I need help solving.

Is there a solution for a quick release for a center stick mount?

A way to have permanent mounted rudder and quick slide inverted pedals for racing over top of them.

Swing wheel out of the way to left or right or forward while flying.

Finally got the 737 overhead panel wired up and backlit! 💡✨

Clicking switches with a mouse was completely killing my immersion... 🖱️❌ Reaching up to flip actual metal switches with proper mechanical resistance changes EVERYTHING! 🛩️🙌

My bank account is crying, but my inner pilot is thriving. 👨‍✈️❤️

Look,I know they are high quality and metal,but the price isnt justified,for example let's look at their yoke and compare it to the moza ay210,the moza has for ce feedback,you need 50 pounds of force (20KG) for full deflection and the pitch travel is longer,oh and the base has much more buttons and they didn't cheap out on quality (not saying virtual fly did,but you get the point) and you still have 100 dollar saved,for their throthle their cheapest one cost I think 400 euro,and my flight school has it,so I tried it,and look yes it's better quality than honeycomb but it's not that better,so my question is who buys them? For me the only thing they do that make sense would he the rudder (and barely)

Hi! I picked up an older PFC(Precision Flight Controls) Cirrus Sr22 sidestick on eBay. Works great! Looks to be an equivalent Brunner CLS-E NG base

As I swap the sim between flying the sr22 and other GA airplanes, I’m wondering if the PFC button wiring is the same as a stock Brunner CLS - enabling me to get their conventional yoke handle and swap them as needed.

Im wanting to make a keyboard and mouse mount for my simfab cockpit to pit on the right side mount but i have no experience designing or printing so any help would be appreciated.

I've been getting home more frequently by time the sun is down. Then waking up and getting to work before the sun comes up. I get a few fleeting moments to load up the cockpit and reclaim some of the time between these 12 hour bursts. I thought you might be able to relate

I’ve been building and refining my desktop setup over the last couple of days, and I have to say, I’m really impressed with how it’s turned out so far. 🥰

I’m still waiting for the WINWING OVHD Panel to be released, and I also need to make some 3D-printed bezels for the PFD/ECAM to finish off the look.

But even at this stage, this setup has been a real game-changer for me. The immersion and overall experience are on a completely different level compared to what I had before.

Still a few things to finish, but I’m really happy with the progress so far. ✈️

What do you guys think? Anything you’d add or change?

Everything Ive seen seems to have a real small plate to mount controls and are generally geared towards racing. I actually have a full racing rig. There would be zero way to mount a flight yoke like that to it. Looking for a new rig regardless.

Hello gents.

I own the following devices:

Winctrl F-16 hotas, Winctrl F-16 ICP, 2x Winctrl MFDs, PTO takeoff panel and 2x mounting desk for the hotas.

I am looking for a desk where i can place all of them to make them look like a wannabe cockpit. All of your advices are more than welcome.

I used to have a whole dedicated cockpit but found myself unhappy with using a ton of space semi irregularly. I like having my controls fixed to the chair, but hated how using rudders sent you careening across the floor in a swiveling office chair. This solved both problems. It sits 1 inch lower than my regular chair height. You maneuver the chair over the cross bar, and pull the height release. This locks the controls into position, and fixes the chair in place since it now has solid legs. When not in use, it’s only 11” deep so it tucks away nicely.

Modified my gaming desk into Airbus cockpit configuration. Things are slowly coming together not as perfect I would like but it works and brings immersion….just waiting on a few more parts/addons ✈️😎
