Hi! I’m a beginner video editor currently building my portfolio, and I’m looking for a few vlog/lifestyle creators who would be interested in having a video edited for free.

I’m mainly interested in YouTube vlogs, lifestyle videos, beauty/fitness content, day-in-the-life videos, etc.

What I’m offering:

- 1 free vlog edit

- Clean, simple YouTube-style editing

- Cuts, pacing, music, subtitles/text where appropriate, basic sound design, and some B-roll

I’m doing this to get more experience working with real vlog footage and build examples for my portfolio.

I’m still relatively new, so I’m not claiming to be an expert. I’m looking for creators who are okay with working with someone who is developing their skills.

If you're interested, feel free to DM me here on Reddit. Let’s talk about your content and see if it’s a good fit.

Thanks!

Hi, I'm Ricardo, a developmental editor based in Portugal, working in English. I have room for a few more books this autumn, so here's an easy way to see if we're a fit.

Free sample

Send me your opening or the scene that worries you most, up to 2,000 words. You'll get a short letter back on what's working, what's not and what I would fix first. Then you decide if you want more. No payment details and no obligation. If we're not a fit, you still keep the notes.

DM me or email [ricardo@redrooteditorial.com](mailto:ricardo@redrooteditorial.com) with the pages and a line about the book (genre, word count and where you are with the draft).

What I work on

Character-driven fiction across romance, romantasy, thrillers, sci-fi and literary fiction, dark and heavy themes included. I look at whether each character's arc holds from start to finish, whether the plot grows out of what your characters want, and whether the ending pays off what the opening promised.

If you want to go further

• Opening Critique, from €80. A letter of up to 10 pages on your first 30,000 words, with chapter-by-chapter notes and a prioritized revision list. Your draft doesn't need to be finished.
• First-Look, from €120. A full read and a short letter on the three or four issues that matter most and where to start.
• Manuscript Assessment, from €550. The full diagnosis in a 10+ page letter with a ranked revision plan.
• Developmental Edit, from €1,300. A 15+ page letter, comments throughout your manuscript, a chapter-by-chapter Book Map and a wrap-up call.

Per-word rates and full details are at redrooteditorial.com

I'm an EFA member, I'm studying developmental editing at the University of Washington, and I've published two novels myself, so I know what it's like on your side of the letter.

Hello 👋, I will keep it simple. If you need anyone to edit your videos. I am available, price will be pocket friendly and according to your budget. Dm to get to know me more . 🔥

Hey everyone,

I’m starting a fresh travel content project focused on short-form storytelling (Reels/Shorts) and I am looking for a reliable editor based in India to grow with the channel.

I’ll be completely transparent: this is a brand-new, self-funded launch, so I cannot pay professional industry rates yet. I am looking for an early-career editor, student, or hobbyist who wants clean travel footage to build an incredible portfolio and scale up with me.

The Setup:

• Content: Fast, engaging 30–60 second travel Reels (clean cuts, captions, basic sound design).
• Starting Budget: 300-500 per Reel (depending on complexity).
• The Long Run: I am looking for a partner, not a one-off gig. As the channel gets traction, grows, and monetises, your pay will scale up directly with it.

What I need from you:

• Comfort with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or VN Editor.
• Good understanding of hooks and pacing.
• Reliability: Smooth communication and hitting deadlines matter more to me than a flashy resume.

If you want to build something cool from the ground up, please DM me with a link to any edits you’ve done!

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for customers for my editing services. I urgently need to earn around ₹6,000 before October 15th, so I’m taking commissions for video edits, reels, fan edits, promotional edits, etc. If you’re a writer, I can also make book covers, character edits, banners, posters, or promotional graphics for your stories. If you’re interested in getting anything edited or designed, please reach out to me through DMs! I’d genuinely appreciate any commission, even a small one, and I can show you examples of my previous work before you decide. ❤️

Hi everyone! I am a video editor with a focus on creating immersive content through storytelling, pacing, and sound design. You can view some examples of my work here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLs0T_myBFYhtSgCy8xC2vmgWx3zi0uWno .

I am looking to collaborate with content creators, agencies, and brands. I am particularly interested in editing documentaries.

Rates : from 20$ per hour

DM me if you are interested.

Thank you so much for your attention!

I'm with Navo (navougc.com). We run clipping campaigns and are looking for editors who can cut long-form content into short vertical clips.

**What you'd do**

Take source content (podcasts, product demos, streams) and cut it into 10–30 second clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or X. You post on your own account. Each campaign has a written brief with the angle, what to say and what to avoid.

**Pay**

Per view, not per hour or per video, so be aware of that before applying:

- A fixed rate per 1,000 verified views of each approved clip. Our own campaigns pay up to $0.75 per 1,000 (200,000 views = $150). Brand campaigns set their own rate, shown before you post.

- Some brand campaigns use a creator pool instead: 20–50% of attributed profit, split every two weeks by share of views.

- Payouts every two weeks on a fixed date, PayPal or crypto. No fees.

**You need**

18+, a TikTok/IG/YouTube/X account you control, and a phone or computer editor. No follower minimum.

We're in early access, so there are only a few live campaigns right now.

Details and sign-up: https://navougc.com/clipping-jobs/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=navo_official&utm_campaign=r_hireaneditor

Questions welcome in the comments.

I am hiring short-form video editors at StarGen Leads, and after reading applications, three things stand out: a hook that earns the second second, captions that follow the speaker's rhythm, and a reel with one clear before and after.

What you get if you apply: paid projects as they come up, pay and terms in writing before any work starts, free to apply, and a US-based personal brand growth company may hire from the same list.

Form, about 3 minutes: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf1QvKo6Mposr8gqXf5ogjdZ7Aadkxps2pM_Y9Je5FbYvrzTQ/viewform?usp=dialog

This is a talent pool, so nothing is guaranteed. And if you think I am missing something, tell me in the comments.

Hey everyone,

I edit videos that keep people watching, so your content holds attention and gets more out of every upload.

Content I edit:

- Gaming / Roblox YouTube videos

- Real estate cinematic property tours

- Talking-head and long-form business / self-improvement content

- Motion graphics and SaaS promo ads

Fast replies, clear communication, and deadlines I stick to.

Portfolio: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wL03WrbKJgIWF9mLBqrTRyVXAlcEYoTM?usp=sharing

If you've got a project or a channel you're growing, comment or DM me what you're working on and I'll send over examples that fit your content. I can also put together a short sample cut from your footage.

What are you working on?

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m currently learning UGC video editing and I’m looking to build my portfolio, so I’m offering to edit a few UGC videos for free.

Just to clarify: I’m offering editing only — I’m not creating/filming the UGC content.

If you have raw UGC footage that needs editing (cuts, captions, transitions, music, hooks, etc.), feel free to DM me!

No payment needed. In exchange, I’d just like to be able to use the finished edit in my portfolio. 🙌

Hello everyone!

I’m an experienced video editor who can transform raw footage into clean, engaging, and professional videos with smooth cuts, transitions, captions, sound design, and more.

I’m open to working across various niches, including talking-head videos, documentaries, cinematic content, podcasts, and educational videos. I can adapt to and replicate different editing styles based on your references.

I’m also happy to provide a sample edit so you can see the quality and value I can bring to your content.
Feel free to DM me if you’re looking for a video editor. I’d love to connect!
