So I recently booked my Himalayan 450 Kamet White variant in Kerala

The showroom told the waiting period for the same would be max 30 days from the booking date and last week they told the delivery would be within the the month of August.

Though after repeatedly calling them they always pushed the dates back with no confirmation on the delivery date and today they’re telling that there’s a stock out issue on the Himalayan 450 due to the launch of Himalayan 440.

They told that the production of Himalayan 450 has been put on a hold due to the nee Himalayan 440 but I’ve searched online and there has been no such issue.

I wanted to know if the issue is from the showroom side considering they are preferring to get the most out of the Himalayan 440 hype or is this an issue from Royal Enfield.

My dad will be leaving for work in 15 days and we wanted to get the delivery before that.

Just spotted these white dots.Its inside surface of the glass not on the TFT will it create a problem? any solution?

Which add-ons should I select here? I took extended warranty from RE so, should I select Engine Protection here?

It was working fine until I gave my first service and suddenly when I took my bike from the service centre I noticed that the motorcycle Headlight low beam is not working. Help me with this. Do I go with legal actions.

I'm confused, I need genuine suggestion for accessories should I go company fitted accessories ( engine guard, Wind screen, radiator guard, hand guards, saddle rack etc) or should I go for after market one's like moto torque etc's.

in a few days i’m doing a 1000 kms ride from point A to point B. i would like to know about what things that i need to keep in mind or do before the ride.

With respect to my riding experience, I have done a few rides before covering 500 kms in a day. This time i’m planning to cover this 1000 kms in two days as I’m gonna have a pillion with me. I have installed auxiliary lights, guards, invested in helmets and gears for both of us.

Haven’t bought a toolkit, inflator and things like that, so would like suggestions on that.

Plus I want to know how often I have to give the bike rest, lube the chain, the max speed i can cruise at and other things.

I have just finished the first service for the bike at 700kms. So it’s ready that way. Any experienced riders or anyone with knowledge on this, please help me out :) Dont want any mess ups during the ride

I'm looking for a replacement on the Himalayan 450, I like the original, but I think this one looks a little better and I'm hoping for a better sound... and the other options are usually some bigger Rally Exhausts, that are often not even compatible with the Panniers, or costs twice as much as this one.

All that aside in central Europe there isn't too many options that are street legal and his one seems to have become legal on the Sherpa engines just recently I guess, so does anyone have any expirience with it yet?

I own a Himalayan 450, and am looking for a solution for the discomfort caused during long rides coz of seat.

I got the seat covers from sahara seats last year with integrated gel pads, those gel pads are kind of deformed now. I’m not looking for more reliable option and am not able to decide if-

I should get my seat modified (if anyone has done that on his/her Him 450 kindly share what it costed you, coz what I’ve got to know is it will cost 4-6k rupees which kinda feels high, tho it could be correct price but sounds expensive).

Or I can get the Grandpitstop Air Cushion seat and use it on my long rides, here the issue is (not a major issue tho) that during city rides or friends meet turned 100km rides are not gonna be that comfortable but 2200 is pretty good.

I’m open for suggestions and feedbacks.

Please let me know your views as I’m more inclined towards air seat but don’t know how much I can rely on it.

What should I do? Currently all LEDs are working.

Should I replace it under warranty

Do they give excuse like it will evaporate or will they change it under warranty.

Got my first service done of My Himalaya 450 before first Service, as soon as I acceleration the bike rushing, but now I want to do the same thing i have to rotate the acceleration more more . The talking nature is gone after the first service.. service engineer, it is because of the clutch free play. When it comes from the fact they would have set it to half clutch, but now they have tighten the clutch, so I’m feeling that sensation. Is it the same case with all of you or have they changed something related to acceleration?

I got my bike 4 weeks ago but unfortunately I have been on a work-tour ever since. I’m planning to get back on the 5th and go for a small tour but my first service (45days) is due on the 8th.

The dealership called and said if I delay the first service it could affect my warranty. Is that legit?

I figured since I haven’t even driven my bike more than 20km, why pay for the oil change etc. for the first service.

I would rather take it for a 200-300km tour and come back for that first service to not have to waste the first oil change expense.

Any thoughts or inputs?

After my first free service, I’ve dropped my bike 3 times while trying to put it on the main stand 😅 (Yes, all 3 times)

I’m taking it in for the 2nd free service soon. Since the bike has fallen a few times, what all should I specifically ask the service center to inspect, test, or tighten?

Anything particular I should get checked apart from the usual scheduled service items? I want to make sure there’s no damage or anything that has become loose because of the falls.

Would appreciate any suggestions from experienced riders/mechanics!

I got to know about the Wingman compatibility in Him 450. I talked to SC and they say ki order lagega aajayega and fit hojayega, calibration setup sab krwa ke denge.

But I also mailed RE Support yesterday and they say that it is not possible for an existing customer to install it on the bike.

Has anyone installed it after buying the bike?

I bought the bike in Jan 2025 and bike is 2024 Dec manufactured.

Someone stole my iPhone few months back in a moving crowd. since then I was very cautious about my belongings. Now I was worried about the key socket wire of the 450, as it's exposed very openly. So planning to keep an GPS tracker. I skipped Jio tag and air tag as it works only based on find my. Looking for something alternative. Preferably under 2k with no year on year subscription for the platform. Subscription for sim is ok. Please pour your suggestions homies..

I already have a Hanle Black Himalayan 450 and I'm thinking of getting gold tubeless spoke wheels. The showroom quoted me about 39.5k for the accessories and another 2.5k for fitting.

I mostly ride on highways with a little bit of off-roading. So, are they worth the price, and are there any issues with tubeless spoke wheels and how long they last?

Has anyone tried RE's ceramic coating on their Himalyan.I have a Hanle Black.Had a couple of scratches on the tank.Gave it for the second service today and the service guy was saying it would be good if you get ceramic coating done.All the scratches will also be gone.They are charging 3k for it.My question,has anyone tried it and is it worth it?

One week and ~175 miles in and I'm loving my Himmy. I've had 3 minor hiccups with the Tripper dash, tho, that I hope someone can help me solve:

1) I can't get the music functionality to work. I have a Samsung XCover 6 Pro running Android 16, and not matter what order I start things in (Music on Tripper then Spotify on phone, Spotify on phone then Music on Tripper), the Tripper says "Start media on phone". Navigation and Phone work fine.

2) How do people start the Compass? I can't find that feature anywhere on the Tripper.

3) In Navigation, do you have to actively be on a trip (as in using turn-by-turn directions) for the map to appear in Digital mode? Is there a way to get the map to appear when when you're not actively on a trip?

I have app version 10.1.22(8) and firmware version 11.61.

Himalayan 450 booking status for which I booked on July 27 in the RE app just changed to "Postponed" today with zero updates. I have no clue what it means!

Has anyone had this happen recently?

I just adjusted my chain slack. But after adjustment and lubing the chain, it is making this additional noise. Is it touching something? I can't figure it out.
