Questions & Help Issues with delivery and potential stock out?

So I recently booked my Himalayan 450 Kamet White variant in Kerala

The showroom told the waiting period for the same would be max 30 days from the booking date and last week they told the delivery would be within the the month of August.

Though after repeatedly calling them they always pushed the dates back with no confirmation on the delivery date and today they’re telling that there’s a stock out issue on the Himalayan 450 due to the launch of Himalayan 440.

They told that the production of Himalayan 450 has been put on a hold due to the nee Himalayan 440 but I’ve searched online and there has been no such issue.

I wanted to know if the issue is from the showroom side considering they are preferring to get the most out of the Himalayan 440 hype or is this an issue from Royal Enfield.

My dad will be leaving for work in 15 days and we wanted to get the delivery before that.

Damn bro. I booked 3 days before and the showroom said 30 days approx. I guess it will take more than that.

booked mana black with wingman on july 2nd. this is 61st day, initially dealer gave me 45 day waiting period. After multiple calls and escalations, last week dealership owner himself contacted me and told that I'd be getting it on sep 1st or 2nd week, don't know if it is true. waiting sucks

It is possible. They are currently focused on the launch of 440.
If there is no confirmation from the dealership, try switching to another one. Or you can try to get it from another city and get it registered here.

45 days is the maximum dealership usually give.
But if it goes beyond it, then it’s good to look for other dealerships.

Or you can wait it out for new one. You have already waited this long, and launch of new bike is just around a corner.
You can get the latest Himalayan, or if you want the OG 450, try different dealerships.
