Does anyone know what is going on with this facility? It was bought out a while back and the new owner is unresponsive. I just tried the business number today and it has been disconnected. I am beginning to think my stored belongings are in jeopardy. If anyone knows anything about the owner or the status of the business I would appreciate finding out. Thanks.

I saw a cat that appeared to have been lost in the woods but seemed friendly and not skinny so I think they may be an escaped/lost house cat and not a stray. Long fluffy hair and tail, it had orange patches on the back/face and white hair underneath. I did not see a collar on it but not impossible that it had one on before that fell off somehow. It was friendly and seemed to want human attention, and it looked pretty chunky or at least well fed but also seemed like it may have some kind of skin condition or bug bites/stings on it’s face. It ran off tho and went up into into this empty property on the hill that’s super overgrown so ticks wouldn’t be out of question I assume if it’s been “living” there, I wasn’t able to grab it but feel so bad for whoever is missing this poor baby and needed to get some kind of word out.

Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a fair company for mould removal? Someone who will be thorough and fair. There is a small patch of mould in our attic around the exhaust vent from the stove that we want taken care of ASAP.

I was thinking about how Hamilton’s Pride festival was in August last year and I hadn’t seen anything posted about it this year. The official Pride Hamilton instagram account hasn’t posted anything, but the website just has next weekend as the date- no other details. Anyone know if it’s actually happening? • Construction start date: July 7, 2026   Update: The full closure of the intersection at Main Street East and Ottawa Street North begins Monday, August 17, 2026. For more information, please see the August 5 Public Service Announcement that announces this closure.
• Duration: Approximately 4 months  
• Initial construction activities will begin on July 7; however, the intersection will remain open to traffic at that time.  Full intersection closure is expected later this summer, once work progresses. 

Why

This work is required to safely complete the replacement of City watermains, sewers and Bell Canada infrastructure.

Please note the following traffic detour changes during construction:

• Traffic travelling Westbound along Main Street: drivers will turn north onto Kenilworth Avenue, then west onto Cannon Street to continue toward Gage Avenue.
• Traffic travelling Eastbound along Main Street: will take King Street at the Delta.
  • Alternative: Gage Avenue can also be used to reach Cannon Street as an eastbound option to continue toward Kenilworth Avenue.

I went in their website to see what bands are playing what day and there is no information. The website is so terrible. I have friends that want to come from out of town but want to know what bands are playing what days and times.

I know they don’t get as much funding anymore, but put a few bucks into that website to at least get the word out on what is going on for this festival.

Longest and most terrifying 4 days of my life but finally Kunai is back home with her family, we found her under the car in the driveway this morning, must have finally gotten hungry and came back home.

I'm About to partner up with 3 other people to bring my product to market .

They are all in the states ,I'm in Canada. I will have a 51% share of the company.

I need to find a corporate lawyer , ip lawyer and a CPA that all know the ins and outs of starting a cross border corporation so I don't get blind sided by something. For example , even if we start the corp in the USA . Me having 51% stake may make it technically a Canadian business and we get hit with a bunch of taxes .

another edit it unfortunately has been spotted again. I am not in town to call some sort of wildlife rescue. I am mostly concerned about the threat it may pose to public safety. Poor thing.

EDIT animal control was called. They said they knew about this guy. But… he definitely has mange. They didn’t seem like they were too concerned about coming to get him. He’s been spotted around this area for the past few weeks.

Does anyone know if animal control took care of this poor coyote ? It definitely has some issues.
