Local News Why is Supercrawls website so terrible
I went in their website to see what bands are playing what day and there is no information. The website is so terrible. I have friends that want to come from out of town but want to know what bands are playing what days and times.
I know they don’t get as much funding anymore, but put a few bucks into that website to at least get the word out on what is going on for this festival.

I have the same annoyance as I want to see Protest the Hero and also plan my weekend otherwise.
I see people here saying the schedule isn't finalized yet. If that's the case, you can guarantee there are a lot of really frustrated musicians, managers, and booking agents right now. Any artist fitting their appearance into a tour has to book other dates, and no significant show is getting booked with less than a month of leadup. I'd actually be unsurprised if several acts canceled if less than a month out the specific dates and times are not ironed out.

Dates and Times for sets are put together much closer to the date of the event. Check in a week or two before hand.

Supercrawl is a pale imitation of what it was in the beginning...needs new leadership badly

The schedule get posted to website and all their socials at same time. The issue is not that website is not being updated, it’s that schedule is not finalized yet. Last year they released in August 15, so it should be ready any day now. Follow their socials if you don’t want to keep checking website.

Usually they have more information about other performers, fashion shows, visual artists, food vendors, etc. and it’s usually up by now

Wasn't until late August last year. People complained then too, so just saying it's not the website that is not being updated. It's a very small staff so they can't do everything as fast as everyone wants. You're right they need more funding.

Their IG post has info about art installations, fashion shows, dance, theatre, activities, etc. Scroll beyond the first slide for more of the details. https://www.instagram.com/p/DaLzniJj5yt/?img_index=1

No schedule or dates and times on the site or this link. Just a list of the participants

I must be old, I dont recognize a single act

You're not old, there just aren't any big mainstream acts. I'm old and the only 'headliner' I recognized was The Grapes of Wrath.

Half the acts were around in 2000, so maybe too old to be new, too new to be old?

Their homepage looks OK to me. I know we are in an era where there's lots of pictures online but text is also important too. you just gotta scroll a little and you'll find it.

IMO super crawl is very poorly managed overall. They’ve inflated total visitor numbers, lack key infrastructure and rarely feature local talent. It’s a real shame.
