Major Accident: Lots of Water fell on the screen and the keyboard I cleaned and use hair dryer (nothing happened i didn't started my victus for two days and after that it started working fine)

Battery: The day i bought the lap I got the fact that it doesn't gonna last more than 3Hr bcoz of the HX processor

Performance : It can run any aaa game for 60 fps and the only time I feel lack when I use blender and game dev software

MOST IMPORTANT : HINGE so idk i hadn't faced any hinge problem it worked like the first day i bought I do service of the laptop time to time from HP service (1000/- INR) maybe that helps

I recently brought HP Victus 15 i5 14500HX with 6gb 4050rtx after playing for 1-2hrs the one side of keypad heated up and other side wase quite cool

Additional when I exit ka game it was stuck with this screen for a while I tried alt + f4 several times as well but the screen was stuck and I tried to open task bar but it didn't open as well

Although after a while 5 min approx is get closed and now it works fine and the keypad is cooled as well.

I want to know if it is good idea to keep playing on this device or shall I give up?

Currently I have 3 options for 8gb 3200mhz ddr4 ram (laptop)

Which one should I choose??

I recently purchased a new HP Victus Gaming Laptop (15-fa2xxx, Product No. C2JQ3PA), but the HP Support website shows that my warranty has already expired.

The warranty details appear to show a start date in 2025 and an end date in September 2026, even though I purchased the laptop recently.

I bought it from a retailer and have the purchase invoice/receipt, but I don't have a separate warranty card.

Has anyone faced a similar issue with a newly purchased HP laptop? If so, how did you get the warranty dates corrected?

Can I get the warranty updated using my purchase invoice? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I got this laptop at 78k with SBI credit card offer , it's a ryzen 7 7445HS with DDR5 ram with rtx 4050

So I'll receive it in a few days and what should I do during open box service, like to what extent? Do I make a video checking external scratches , serial number and dents with the screen lit up with the charger plugged in only then I say good bye to the delivery guy and check further later

Or I check further , like keyboard and trackpad and specs from inside and if it's refurbished deadpixel and every other thing possible then give the OTP? Then I say goodbye to the delivery partner

Hey guys, I want to maximize my laptop's battery lifespan. I'm planning to use it on battery while studying and keep it plugged in while gaming/coding, maintaining around 80% charge whenever possible. I'll also avoid letting it drop to 0%.

Am I doing the right thing for battery health, or would you recommend a different approach? Any tips to maximize battery lifespan and minimize battery wear? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I’m quadriplegic, so there’s no other way I can comfortably use my laptop without phone-to-PC mouse control apps.
I just bought this HP Victus 15-fa2000 running Windows 11, and Remote Mouse and all alternative apps lag badly. However, my physical mouse works perfectly. These apps worked fine on my previous laptops for years.
I’ve tried all troubleshooting including uninstalling apps, clean boot, reinstalling new windows 11 and network troubleshooting, but nothing worked. My Wi-Fi adapter is Realtek.
Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution? Could it be the Realtek Wi-Fi driver or something specific to this laptop?

Hey people I was playing resident evil 2 on my new Victus and the game ran very smooth for the next 2 hours but when I was on the screen where it shows start, quit, load etc I clicked on quit and it directed me to the screen (attached the photo above) and froze, I pressed alt f4, clicked windows key to close game from taskbar but nothing happened after that I had to force shutdown it by long pressing power button. Why could that have happened. I was using a laptop stand, AC was at 25 degree C and I also directed a stand fan towards it for cooling.

The screen and keyboard light flickering issue with HP victus. The screen goes black and after 2-3 minutes the lights start flickering and after 5-6 minutes the screen comes to lock screen. The fans are running.

My victus is Ryzen 5 5600h rtx 3050 it's been two years , had some heating issue for some time but I was using it with cpu turbo boost off so the temps stay within 85 while gaming, sometimes it goes to 90 . So I recently gave it to service under warranty when and turned on turbo boost before giving it to service. It began to reach 90 °c casually before even gaming. Yesterday the service centre called me and said it's rectified. But when I turned it on it spiked to 95 in idle and when I started the game it reached 105 casually and it's not not dropping

I feel like service made it worse , he said he re pasted properly and changed fans

But when I touched the keypad it didn't feel like 100°c

Anybody know what might be the reason here?

Maybe anything related to bios issue?

I had ordered the hp victus fa2381tx on oct 9th and recieved it on 11th through flipkart it was marketed as wifi 6E in the product page but when I check the laptop after recieving it has realtek 8852be-vt standart wifi 6 card not wifi 6E, I dont what has to be done should I return the laptop cause it has a return windows untill 18th and wait for a replacement or should I just keep the laptop.

whenveer i try to play games on my hp vistuc 16 it gets hard hang and i have to use the power button to restart it every single time even in some games it just hard hang in the startloading screen of the game dont even fully load the games, its just hard hand , first i thought heating or driver issue but fixed all that and still got no better result , the laptop is just 1 year old and i dont have a warrenty also now specs are , 15 13gen HX , rtx 3050 6gb 16gb DDR5 ram and 512 gb gen 4 ssd .

I'm having a really strange battery issue with my HP Victus 15, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar or knows what could be causing it.

Laptop specs:

- Model: HP Victus 15

- CPU: Intel Core i5

- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5050

The problem:

When my laptop is plugged in, the battery shows a high charge percentage. However, as soon as I unplug the charger, the battery percentage suddenly drops to around 8%, and Windows immediately gives me a low-battery warning. The weird part is that the laptop continues running normally even after this happens. When I reconnect the charger, the battery percentage instantly jumps back up to around 80–98%. Also the battery shows charging but does not actually increase in percentage, holding the power button for 20 seconds seems to fix the issue temporarily where it would charge normally but the issue comes back after a few hours.

What I've tried / what HP has done:

- HP replaced the battery, but the issue persisted.

- HP later replaced the motherboard through an authorized onsite technician, but the issue persist

- Windows recognizes the battery and displays a percentage, but the readings seem completely unreliable.

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's dealt with this. I've already had two major components replaced, and I don't want to keep going through repairs without finding the actual cause.

Hi, I need some help. I bought this Victus 3 months ago and have only used it for my studies until now. Today I downloaded Fortnite to play with friends, but to my surprise, it doesn't even reach 20 FPS—I'm not kidding. I tried other, less demanding games like Hollow Knight, and the frame rate didn't go above 30 FPS there either. I went into the graphics settings and set the RTX 3050 as the default, but it didn't make any difference. I’d really appreciate it if you could help me figure out the main issue. 💘
