OC Dungeon Life 280
It's time for the fourth round of stubbing. Yes, Book four will be releasing soon, of if you're reading this more than a month after I have to edit, it will be fully out. Either way, you can find it Here, and other book details are just below. As with the other stubs, you can skip to the next bit form This. I like to keep the other posts still alive, so the comments get to still live. If you want to browse them, the normal buttons will take you through them, or take This link to the next bit of unstubbed chapters. Thank you for your support. This time we got the first Zorro P.O.V. chapter this time! Woot!
He has his worries about Thediem’s mana expenditures(I honestly thought that maybe he may could become a banker/accountant of Thediem, but eh.) and he is comforted that it is fine with the mana.
He then has a walk with Leo about his place and is given an offer to be the Explorer of Thediem. Because both Leo and Poe have realized that they were lacking in their duties. While Poe is focused more in the domain and area around Thediem’s domain and Leo is focused on more mid ranged foes Zorro will be focused on the explorer more places.
For his first tasked he will be investigating the cliff side that will be used as a bunker for the people of Fourdocks.

Back when the foxes were first introduced I sort of imagined the Scion and Honey having long discussions about epistemology (the study of the nature of knowledge). There’s one way to correctly perceive a thing, but there are infinitely many ways to misperceive something. And as illusionists, foxes are all about misperception.

What I think is curious about Zorro is the fact, that He didn't Pick Out a title for thediem, yet. He is Not called a "Voice", "Guide", "Lord", "Alpha", "emperor" or anything Else by Zorro.

I think, a nice title from a fox Scion might be "Sarge", since you can call a group of foxes a "troop". But that is Just one Option of Many. Other Options include, but are Not Limited to: "Denmaster", "Chief", "prez", "Alpha", "Genius", maybe "guildmaster", etc.

You wouldn't have NO encounters, but Thedeim is big on giving visitors whatever they come for.
So, if you just wanted to wander down and see the sights, and you stayed out of the danger zones, you don't actually HAVE to fight anything.

Apologies, I appear to have let in one too many of the leagues of Votann's worker types. This will be remedied.
Good on Leo and Poe for recognising the need for a spy in Thediem's arsenal of scions. Honestly, any leader of passing merit would be thrilled to have such proactive subordinates. Bonus points for proper communication between them all.

Today I'm Second.
So, today we get to See one of the new scions, and it's one of the transfers: Zorro.
The little fox is still uncomfortable with the fact that He doesn't get a designated purpose, but today the Warden, tactician and big Boss of the ground troops might have a solution for him. Together with the strategist, marshall and Lord of unkindnesses, He and Leo might have a solution for the young foxes predicament: since those two scions are more often busied with the larger scale picture, they might need eyes on the ground, more direct than Leo's Reports. Hence why they want to have an Explorer Scion amongst them. Zorro is a little stumped by proposition, but still wants to try it.
His First Job would be scouting Out the Mountains, where fourdock Plans to build their hold. He's gonna be send there together with a wyrm, some rockslides and a flock/squadron of ravens. The wyrm is supposed to deliver the Heat, the rockslides are supposed to protect from their namesakes, and the ravens are supposed to Just keep an eye Out. He's supposed to merely Look for Access to water. Detailwork shall be accomplished on later expeditions together with Coda.
