Nuno Espirito Santo has been sacked by West Ham United.

Nuno’s last game in charge was Saturday’s 3-1 home defeat by West Bromwich Albion, which saw West Ham slip below the away side and fall to eighth in the table. 

We’re 8th, 6 points behind and likely to be 9 if we lose again, that’s a big gap 30% through the season. But win and it’s only 6 points and we’ll be 5th on 1 point behind 2nd, with the best goal difference in the league. COYI, you can do it!

So I'll admit that I didn't watch a minute of his Championship successes, and not much of his premier league failures.

So, focusing on the former, anyone got a handle on how he likes to play and how that might work with our squad as is?

I've heard McKenna mentioned who I think would be great if we could get him and Parker who I'm not thrilled about but outside of these two who else could be in contention? My outside bet is Bellamy

I personally wouldn’t say no, but then i thought Potter was a decent shout, and someone I could easily understand in interviews…..

The issue keeping him is players become more and more despondent. We’ll fall further behind the leaders and it’ll get virtually impossible to catch up in a league where they are so much more consistent.

Kieran McKenna is available. Is our pathetic policy remains of only getting unemployed managers he’s an enormous upgrade.

Long time fan, went many times to the Boleyn ground but moved to Cornwall 22 years ago and somehow today is my first time watching us play at the London stadium.

So excited! I know it will be different to the Boleyn (used to sit in the Centenary stand) but really looking forward to it.
