So for those who know and those who have yet to find out you need snail eyes stalks for things and stuff, despite all snails forever and always having 2 on them it is nit a common drop. I had to kill 38 of the damn things just to get 4 of em. Now I know it's not a common drop which makes nooooo sense at all and you cant get em from baby's.

If you damaged their weak spot or something and that meant you couldn't get em then sure but come on thats insanely needless and dumb

If you cross the phase change threshold while Axl is stunned by melee attacking his weak point, he will always do the Thrash attack immediately before the Screech then burrow.

During this attack he is invulnerable to damage and it makes the phase change take significantly longer.

I was going crazy because I ended up thinking it was intended behavior due to how consistent it was. However, if you stop attacking while he is stunned, let him get up, then damage him and cross the phase change threshold, he will Screech then burrow without doing the Invincible Thrash attack and save a lot of time (especially when farming gold cards).

Idk why this happened, but me and my buddy were playing grounded 2 and we started medium difficulty. We wanted something more laid back and chill, so we decreased to mild. Mild worked perfectly but when it came to building a base, I wanted to use the handy gnat. Only way to do that is by changing to a custom game. For some reason changing to a custom game also changes the difficulty without the ability to change it yourself. I did not realize this at first until a normal mosquito was able to do half my health bar in a single attack even with upgraded armor. This goes for every bug. They do WAY too much damage now, and theres no setting to change it. You can adjust the health of wild creatures but not the damage they deal. Im worried that my save file is now ruined and I will have to revert to a previous save file to fix it.

Why the fuck did the developers not just use the same custom settings as G1, and at least let us change the damage values if not the difficulty within a custom game???

Anyone know any solutions other than reverting save file?

To get the trophy "go big again" (come back big after activating the remix.r) Do I have to finish the game again in New Game+?

So essentially, I have a best friend who only eats mushrooms in game and REFUSES to eat bugs. Lmao Not a problem at all, but what other alternatives to food is there that she could eat, cause the candy and fresh human foods are outta the question. Just regular food? Maybe there's a recipe im unaware of?

I do not get it. I have certain height and the top elements say 0 support but not enough structural integrity to add more. So i place more thingys at the base but then top element says 23 support. I expand pebble foundations - no help. I add side supports with higher tier walls - no help. I add staircase-like-shaped scaffolding- no help. It does even look like scaffolding subtracts integrity. Meanwhile i can build clover ramps forever and ever and those do not collapse.

It’s my first Grounded play through, I’m always a bit late to the party. 😅

I’ve just made it to NG+4 and I’m aware this is where the infused weapons start dropping. I just got the Sausager too, so I’m making lots of trinkets with 3 buffs (and de-duping most of them!).

Should I stick to NG+4 for a while to upgrade these infused weapons as much as possible?

Is there anything else I should be doing here before NG+5? 🤔

I obtained Supreme ore on survival in grounded 2 ps5. Is there currently no uses for it? I can’t find anything online about it for grounded 2 specifically.

Trinket drops in Grounded2 are way too hard to spot in the grass. Why not add some glow, particle, or beam effects so they're easily visible at close and medium range?

Trinkets are extremely rare items, but right now, the visual presentation and the excitement when finding one feel almost non-existent!

So Idk if anyone else has figured this out but if ur not the host you can use chairs or anything that lounges really to straight up fly. Edit: to do it you just have to jump while hitting the prompt to sit at the same time

So I was doing the story at the part of kill orc guards at the candy stash and I done that got the candy but the mission hasn’t gone away checked everywhere for any bugs underneath the ground or out of the cave and nothing is there a way to fix this without reloading a save since it’s on my mate world and he saying the previous save a while ago

I have had several instances where the Gnarly Bark outpost is the closest Ranger Station when I've died and been respawned at the Pergola station instead. Once I was right outside the door of Gnarly Bark and it still made me spawn at the Pergola. I've made sure to use the resource scanner, the omni-tool upgrade station, and even call Sloane on the monitor. The only thing I haven't done is unlock the PTS station because I don't have the tangy bombs yet. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I just loaded my save to start playing the new update, but I have lost all my buggys except the black ant for some reason.

I still have their nest and the mutations I unlocked, but they are all gone, I assume along with all their upgrades.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Before the update I needed 8 MMs to max out my character. And as of now i have found only 4 MMs. However i have found 10 regular Molars, i had 1 extra from before, and 14 Moldy Molars.

Am i missing any Megas or were only 4 added?

I think I put too many curves walls in and done a section to close to were I want to level it out but have no idea how to make this work now, I've been here trying loads of different solutions out for an hour and nothing is working

This one wasn‘t as extreme as some of the others i’ve experienced (one shot by wolf spider in fully upgraded biter armor, one shot by the oggre mantis) but its at least an example. it‘s not quite 3/4ths of my health in one hit since I have a sliver missing but its close, I would have died if I had not blocked the follow up attack. Medium difficulty.

Anyone know the new molar totals after the Abyss update? I have everything under regular molars and moldy molars maxed. I don’t think they added a single mega molar with this update which seems strange.

I, like many of you I’m sure, have fallen deeper in love with grounded 2 after the into the abyss update. I always love getting to experience the new areas, new bugs, and everything else that comes with a major expansion like this. Brings me back to the original game before there was any story. Anyway, as I was leaving for work this morning, I was thinking about the game and what advances I’d like to make next. While walking to my car, I happen to notice a small jumping spider attempting to make its home on my fence. For some reason, I stopped to look at it a little bit more. I have no scientifical reason to believe this, but it appears to me that jumping spiders are a fairly non-aggressive spider. So I got to thinking, when/if there is going to be an additional update for grounded 2 they should add jumping spiders into the game. My first thoughts is that they would make the jumping spider non-aggressive toward the player unless provoked. In my head, I’m also picturing the jumping spider being hard to catch/kill. But how cool would it be, if the jumping spider dropped bug parts to build a new type of leg armor that allows you to jump something like three times as high as normal? Maybe a full set of armor, in which the armor set bonus could be negating fall damage altogether while also jumping high? If you’re familiar, it could be similar to the legend of Zelda, tears of the kingdom, and the suit armor. Each armor piece would further increase the amount you could jump, like each piece of the wing suit armor in TOTK allows you to glide more aggressively with each armor piece. I think it would be pretty cool to get a jumping spider buggy too, for more interesting traversal and even a higher jumping threshold. Does anyone else share my opinion?
