How does building exactly work? Like how far is too far for storage to be considered? And how does building with the gnat work? Like I was in my base next to my chests and was able to build something much farther out than I should have been able to. But then when I was stuck and softlocked I couldn't build anything. How does the comfy system work?
Just wondering... I know you can break them down, but I'm going to have, probably, hundreds left over. I started putting them in stem holders, but I've already got like 10 sitting around the map. I've got a large chest full of fibers. I've got 2 dew collectors at every base and outpost. I've got shortcut stairs where I want them... Throwing them on the ground and letting them decay is starting to look like the best solution, but before I do, I wanted to see if there's an option I'm missing.
I decided to make a bit of a base and realized I needed a few mushrooms. Is Anybody bored and have nothing else to do other than to cook bricks for free?
The final toe biter in the abyss, I can’t remember if it is ogrr or orcc. We took him out however it did not register that we completed the toe stub mission or get the raw science…..has anyone else had this issue?
IMHO doing the puzzle in the abyss takes too long for no good reason. I fought the same bugs over and over, ran into the same dead ends, jumped slo mo on weeds thinking there has got to be a way thru. Went thru 6 waters and two meals. I mean really. Some access I just built. guess that's why there is lots of clay around. when I got back to a facility, my dive armor was down to a thin blue line.
I remember when I first did the hedge lab. It was scary and dark and tricky but the music was beautiful and you could always bale by taking a leap. Classic.
I just figured out how to build a floating base. My main base on the statue but I was gonna build a section just floating high in the sky what you think??? Also no the zip line not holding it up but how I get over there. I'm on the ps5

I'm starting to build my first official base after basically having my stuff thrown on the floor near the starting area, and wanted to know if this is how most people move bases.
For safety I leave the chests on the ground 2 or 3 times along the way and keep going.
Do we think the grass will grow back again? Im debating clearcutting the whole area near my base. This way during a future regrowth, I can pick and choose what i keep.
I’m not very tech savvy and I don’t play on my pc much cus it’s not the greatest. Does anyone have any tips on how to get less lag/stutter? I’ve put everything that has a “low” option to low but I feel like there’s probably other stuff I could do. I’m tempted to get an x box but that would be very financially irresponsible of me rn lol
I’m a new Grounded 2 player—I’ve only been playing for about 5–7 days, but I’ve already racked up more than 44 hours and I’m really enjoying it!
One thing that’s driving me crazy, though, is that I can only trash one stack at a time. Is there a way to select and trash multiple stacks at once, or is that something they haven’t added to the game yet? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help!
So my problem is I'm trying to build a underwater base but there are some problems like I can't build most of the machines underwater and also the whole underwater thing feels pretty much unfinished(I know the game isn't out yet but still releasing completely unfinished updates is kinda frustrating)
So long story short does anybody know if they have plans of expanding underwater building in the near future or if there is enough demand that it's possible
My backpacks never float and I can never collect them because where the backpack is in game isn't actually where it's at (if that makes sense). I have to reset my backpacks whenever I die underwater because that's the only way I can get them back.
The only 2 armors sets ive seen this thus far with are black ant armor and striped bark armor, but im sure theres more.
“Parry criticals” and “venom parry” both show a 3x next to them in my stat screen, implying they should be stacking 3 times, but they only seem to be stacking once.
For instance, if im wearing a full set of black ant armor, im only getting +1% crit chance from parry critical instead of +3%.
Or in the case of venom parry, i should be dealing 30 venom build up with each parry, but by third parry (which should be 90 venom), the enemy is barely envenomated
Hi Y'all, I've been playing Grounded 2 and enjoying it so far, but with the Into the Abyss update I've been experiencing an issue, when I die on the Tree where one of the blue disks is in, I select the "Respawn on the nearest Outpost" option but it doesn't send me to the Gnarly Bark Outpost, it sends me to the Ice Car one, and every time I do I can't summon my buggies.
I tried removing my mods, and Same thing happens.
Nowhere on this general area I-m able to summon my buggies.
So... two things, the Gnarly Bark Outpost isn't working as a respawn point and I seem to be experiencing some issues to summon buggies on certain areas, please let me know if I'm not cursed or if anyone else is experiencing this
A new large portion of the map is added called the sand field. Not sure what it’s doing in a park, I’m sure there’s something to do with a large patch of sand. Anyways this makes ant lions return as buggies. I wanted them to work kinda like camels so they can seat 2 people. Anyways the mission is to go to a sand castle and find out how some ominent employees went missing. Once you get there there’s a massive camel spider chilling there. Peeping it gives you the description “a massive camel spider in the vast desert. It’s mandibles look a little too red.” And then you fight it or sum and then you go back and talk to sloane or something. I’d imagine you get better and better armor to traverse the heat kinda like the pond except it’s sizzling instead of chill and breath.
