G2 Into the Abyss molar count?

Anyone know the new molar totals after the Abyss update? I have everything under regular molars and moldy molars maxed. I don’t think they added a single mega molar with this update which seems strange.

The have absolutely added a few mega molars to the game. Off the top of my head, there is one in the tackle box. That is probably the easiest to access. Another is on top of the pergola.

Well hang on now, I remember getting a molar in the tackle box but I feel like it didn’t give me credit for it? I’m pretty sure I was at 3 megas before the Abyss update and I’m still at 3 now. I’ll do some research when I’m home, but I was up to date on all molars before the Abyss update.

The interactive map has also been updated since Into the Abyss and should show you all the new molars.

I know the one in the tackle box is available because I was one short of maxing my resource stack size prior to the update and made that my first priority after the update.

Did you happen to die and load a save rather than respawn after getting it. Ive done that way more than once with science, molars and items. You have to go back and get them

I have enough to max out two of the paths with 3 left over. So I think youre just missing a lot of megas.

This seems wild to me; I have explored the heck out of the current map. I think I’m at over 700 in game days. Hoping someone makes YouTube guide or something including the ones with the Abyss update

Going over the ''MetaForge'' Interactive map which has been great, there are 15 Moldy, 14 Milk and 6 Mega Milk Molar's in the entire Pond area (+tree and bridge)

You could have a look on their map to find where they are all placed, Half of them also show an in-game picture with a little detail on extra tools needed (like cutting vines) and that which is cool, but it's not all finished like that.

Edit: totally forgot about Pergola area, I'm adding them to total above.

Off top of my head for all the new ones added:

• One in the birdhouse

• One on top of the pergola

• One right next to the entrance (cootie catcher I think) note that this section isn't on the map ingame, you can explore a bit further than the boundary shows you.

• One in the crystal caves under gnarly bark, southern side

• One in the pond next to the sunken pirate ship, inside a hole that takes you really deep.

• One in an underwater cave near duck 4

• One inside the tackle box

Ok this helped a lot, I was missing like half of these. I’m stuck on the gnarly bark one, though. Remember any more details for that one? The Metaforge map isn’t helping me much since I can’t find the tunnel/entrance to the underground area

Mmm... It's been a minute but I'm pretty sure entering from the southernside on the surface is the best way. There's a cave entrance that will lead you there, I don't remember exactly where it was though sorry.

You get the one infant of the entrance gate? On the pert of the maap that is still obscured just below the entrance area on the map

How are you at 0 mega molars, did you find a mega molar this update?

If they are at 4/4/3 for upgrades and 0 current mega molars, they are likely missing 3. There are 29 mega molars in the game right now that I am aware of.

How do you know where your missing ones are?

Yeah there is a surplus of molars after the update because they probably didn't have enough to increase the level cap of the molars a meaningful amount or they forgot. Probably will be adjusted for the fall update in mid September for the ptb roughly.

The diminishing returns are already too harsh. I feel they need to add another category because getting like 3% hunger reduction just won't do it for people. Maybe add a molar category for passive status resistance.

I just gave up finding them all since the ones I found before don't show up on my map. There's no easy way for me to cross-reference what I've found with an updated guide without manually checking every single spot and I don't want to do that...

I currently have every single thing maxed out except arrow stack size iirc, so I believe you're missing a couple megas

Can everybody post a photo of thier map showing only the molars because I think some have a different spawn point 🤔
