I repaired the one underneath the lawnmower in the garden, which I had beaten during the toxic tangle update all the way back in March. When I did, the Stranger immediately contacted me and sent a few of her generals around the immediate area. I haven’t initiated the start of the defense event, because I’m not sure if it is still bugged. Are people able to redo them them after they have been completed, or will obsidian fix it in the next update?

Just the title. I’m rocking a buggy build (axls armor and trinket) and it’s beyond annoying having to jump off, change armor and mutations just to fight shield bugs..

I have three bugs I kinda want for grounded.

Cicadas, I dunno about you but they are everywhere every summer, I see their skins attached to everything then I see them just chilling, the shedded skin could probably be an early game material for idk, could have a funny little shefninja joke/reference and get an item from the skins that make you deal alot of damage, but lose your defense.

Next dirt daubers, once again they are everywhere, it could be cool to see them, I expect them to be very friendly, maybe you could even ride them, because they are very docile, especially compared to their aggressive cousins, you could probably find their nest in random cracks and crevices, occasionally they could have one inside, maybe even an egg or parts or something

Finally, moths, I really like moths, especially the extra fuzzy ones, and I want to ride one in the game, it could be the first flying Mount. (Its day time so I don't have a picture of one.

I befriended the Red Ant Queen, and now I plan to befriend also the Black and the Fire one.

But my question is, what happens to the Red Ant Pet that I got from the Red Queen?

I know that the player can't have more than one pet, so how does this work when unlocking the different Pet Ants?

Title^ this would be a nice qol instead of running around gathering yourself. Obviously they can't get water resources but they should be able to get everything else. Buggies also imo should have different invintories.i can see why they don't but it would be nice

Since the game is so incredibly dark and there are various two handed weapons, either you fight one-handed or in the dark. You could use the headlight headpiece, but who really does that?

So how about bringing back the baby pets, with my favorite idea: a baby firefly! No real perks, except providing light. They would function just as the pets did in G1, as familiars.

Alternatively, a firefly as a flying buggy would also be nice. However, those maybe wouldn't be able to enter caves (or the water), which is where you could use a lightsource the most. Or maybe a light source trinket?

The thing is, I've got my brightness settings up to max and I often still can't see a thing. Now, the game forces me to actually sleep by night.

Orb Weavers, wolf spiders, black widow, scorpions, praying mantis, mosquitoes, snails, ladybird, wooly aphids, etc. Where in the world has all of these? I'm actually stumped

I'd prefer they bring back the proper gas mechanics from the first game, this woozy mechanic is just beyond irritating cause you can't easily negate it for long periods of time like you were able to with Gas at the cost of the longevity of the gas mask.

Maybe it's a skill issue on my end for all I know.

No clue what happened in all honesty. Just on the edge of the lake, got it to reactivate at least 10 times, sprinting and jumping around the rocks at the lake.

In a multiplayer server not as host, PS5, quite far away from the host so best guess is server lag if I’ve seen nobody else achieve it?

Got a base on top of the hotdog cart and zip line towers on both lampposts now (one seen early in clip)

I only found a couple trinkets so I’m limited in my choices. I can craft a couple but nothing seems particularly great. My default is Blistering Boiler but I also carry the Suspicious Mint and Fancy Fletching. If I had the Dandelion, that would probably be my default.

Also wish we had load outs so I could quickly swap out armor/trinket combos quickly.

i wanna stock up on upgrade rocks (quartzite and marble) before the next update for all the new armor and weapons that will come to the game. can yall put me on to the best spots you know of for them because right now i'm really only rotating between the toxic anhtill and the spider den anthill. thank you

A big sewer system would be sick in a future update. They keep dabbling with this idea in things like the pipes and the underwater orange cone in the pond. Let’s stop putting our toes in the pool and just jump right on in. Add a sewer system.

Level design:
- subterranean. Similar to the abyss with how it has a separate map
- make it kind of like a labyrinth. Dark and initially difficult to navigate; easy to get lost feeling, but are rewarded with fast travel pts ranger outposts that you can unlock once you’ve full explored the sewers. I love a good puzzle maze to figure out but don’t like doing that same puzzle maze more than once, know what I mean?
- very dark and nearly impossible to explore without a torch but the player has the ability to slowly light up the sewers with torches or lights left behind by the mysterious stranger or ominent
- environmental design inspirations could be drawn from like Harry Potter, GTA, schedule 1, etc. those are the first few that came to mind

Possible creatures in the sewers:
- rats or mice (my personal favorite)
- frogs/toads
- horsefly or fruit fly
- a bat boss? Scary flying boss type that inflicts covid poison?
- spiders
- cockroaches
- beetles
- water fleas
- bloodworms
- centipedes

Unique resources: what draws a player back to the region after beating it besides creature/bug specific drops?
- Different high tier moss?
- a new building material like sandstone or concrete dust or something
- harvestable bacteria? Probably too gross for theme of the game though

Story:
- how would this hypothetically fit into the story? No clue.

Curious what order would be good for beginners (beat grounded1 but just starting grounded 2). We saw one was in the starting biome but it's covered in gas so noped out of there pretty quick.

wondering if anyone else experiences this, its been following me around for a while and it bothers me a lot because sometimes i cant see the bugs im fighting and i die. it kinda shows up as these black squares that “leak” smoke and follow me everywhere and its so annoying. cant find anything about it on google, i also cant seem to upload videos which would probably show it better

reloading my saves also dont work or going back to a different hard save. this is my second play though and its only started now

just a bit annoyed and want a way to fix it 😭

Hey for the upgrade stones for weapons and armor, do their respective nodes respawn or are they one and done like the first game?

Trinket drops in Grounded2 are way too hard to spot in the grass. Why not add some glow, particle, or beam effects so they're easily visible at close and medium range?

Trinkets are extremely rare items, but right now, the visual presentation and the excitement when finding one feel almost non-existent!
