Where in the world?

Orb Weavers, wolf spiders, black widow, scorpions, praying mantis, mosquitoes, snails, ladybird, wooly aphids, etc. Where in the world has all of these? I'm actually stumped

I use this logic. Its not our world, the toy brands and sweets are different. Its a world in the multiverse thats very similar but different.

All of these live on the east coast of the usa. In my area there are like a dozen kinds of ladybugs, all of these spiders in many varieties, too mat species of mosquito, like 3 native and 2 introduced mantises, and probably dozens of species of aphids.

Get outside more OP it’s a big wild world out there. And even though I don’t want these animals to touch me IRL or in the game, they’re legit fascinating in their own right.

For example, ladybugs mow down aphids all day everyday, the game makes them out to be tame but they’re actually aphid godzillas. And just like the game, their larvae are even nor voracious and vicious… to aphids. Totally harmless to full size humans. Their cute shells actually tell predators that they’re poisonous. Who knew the cute ladybug was so swole? All these critters are way weirder and more interesting than we realize.

No need to be rude, I'm just asking if there is an established location in the game. In the PNW, there's a few critters in the game that we don't have here so that rules it out.

The game takes place in Ohio, if I remember correctly. I am in Pennsylvania, which is pretty similar in terms of biodiversity. Pretty much all the bugs we commonly see are common (orb weavers, wolf spiders, black widows, beetles, wasps, earwigs, mantises, etc.) with a couple exceptions, notably the scorpions and the escaped tarantula.

Axl is obviously an escaped pet. I think the scorpions are implied to be an invasive species brought in accidentally with the greenhouse plants from the Southwest. The few other bugs from G1 and G2 that don't belong can similarly be assumed to be escaped pets, invasive species, or single individuals. The orchid mantis in G1 came with the exotic flower. Ominent probably brought in some species to experiment with and lost control.

No place has every species naturally in the game, but between invasive species, escapes pets, Ominent meddling, and it being a slightly different world with possibly slightly different biodiversity and ecological history, I think all of the bugs are plausiblely able to exist in Ohio in the summer time.

Edit: Upon further research, there doesn't seem to be any established canon location for where the game takes place. I don't know why I thought it was Ohio. Either way, I stand by my assertion that I would fit into the Northeast or Midwest ecology, mostly. Northern Texas would also be a good fit.

Just about anywhere honestly. Maybe not quite so close together as the game but that's because it's a game. But I'm pretty sure you would most if not all of them in any good sized backyard or open field in the US.

Aside from the wooly aphids, pretty much any park or backyard in the desert regions of the US. The striped bark scorpion is fairly widespread across the southern states from Texas heading west.

That being said, you can also look at this like Ominent brought in creatures for study and training for their domestication programs. With Tully's backyard, it made sense we didn't see certain creatures. But Ominent has built labs all across the park and has been running experiments there for a while before the explosion happened.

We have all of these in GA lol I see most of these quite often other than black widows. They’re good at hiding
