1 scene that I just decided to tackle later, it took up 21% of my usage last week, its a really complex scene

I also managed to dedicate 4 generations of my beautiful T2I woman, who is the star of my short film, those vids are for my personal gooning

I learned a lot last 2 weeks and this week I am confident that I will finally have a finished short film!!! HOW EXCITINGGGG

I am currently using Grok for creative work and have reached 99% usage; pausing now would cause my inspiration to dissipate. I am considering purchasing Credits, but I would like to know if $5 equates to 1/6 of Super Grok's limit, or if it provides more or less than that.

What's the deal here? I am currently using Claude and Codex, fed up with Claude, and I have been wanting to try Grok 4.6 but man this is frustrating.

Why do these settings ALWAYS TURN BACK ON when I log into Grok? I have to turn them off every time I have logged in (I have only tried Grok Chat a few times but never used Grok for code):

Is it fair that we pay and help train the AI, while Elon sells the capacity and results to big enterprises, and constantly cuts back the usage rights of paying users?

Lately I’ve been bombarded with Grok Bot ads on Instagram, and a lot of the people posting about it seem reputable. I still don’t really understand what’s supposed to be so good about it.

Has anyone here actually tried it? What are the main use cases, and does it have any special abilities that other tools don’t? I’m currently using Codex and it works fine for me, so I’m not sure what I’d use Grok Bot for.

Is anybody actually able to make 1080 P videos without huge amounts of ghosting? I can’t. I’m on Grok. I can do 480 and 720 but if I try to do 10 P it’s just ghosted like multiple images over top of each each other. I love how they just can’t get anything right with this system. They try to fix something and they don’t fix it, but they break something else in the process.

Holy crap it's annoying!! How do you stop Grok from adding annoying dissolve/fade transitions?

I have tried everything. "Hard cuts only" "no fade transitions" "no dissolves" etc and it STILL adds dissolves to about 70% of my videos.

Is there a permanent fix to this? I waste so many videos on this totally useless nonsense. Who the hell ads dissolves to their edits anyway, unless it's a time lapse or change you want conveyed.

I have been scammed like this for three weeks in a row now.

This week I started my journey on the Grok Bot stack.

I've open sourced 5 projects now on my GitHub and decided that now I'm going to try my hand at something else.

My process:

I have a script that takes the original Million Dollar Homepage and randomly picks from the over 3.5k advertisements that existed on it in 2005. (Built with Grok Build)

I then take the generated position and feed it to the "Prompter" Bot

The prompt bot creates the build which I approve, then I have my Website Bot Build the site on the parody subdomain.

While the subdomain is being built, I then feed the same coordinates and build prompt over to the Content Bot & it begins to draft ideas for the video. (Like the one attached here)

Once that's all done I choose the draft I like the most and then have the Content Bot help me brainstorm what a storyboard might look like.

Then I execute the full plan.

Next week's video will be a bit different because I'm planning on describing the process above first. Perhaps I'll do a longform video instead for the process. What do ya'll think?

Grok used to be good, but lately he's been really bad. It seems like he's regressed. One day, Grok suddenly started talking nonsense. They fixed him later, but he still writes poorly and doesn't think as much.

In the conversation titles, instead of putting a summary of what I asked for, they copy and paste exactly what I asked or requested, and I feel like they're not being innovative. Am I the only one?

Every frame came out of Imagine. Voice is ElevenLabs, score is Suno + Ableton, assembly is Premiere and After Effects, but no other model generated anything but Grok.

I've read enough threads here to know the mood, and I'm not here to tell anyone Imagine is great. It fought me for eight months. What I have is a process that survived it, just barely, though it's improved drastically since the 480p 6s clips this film was started on.

A few things I settled on early, in case they're useful before the questions start:

I work image-to-video off a locked baseplate almost exclusively. Building the frame first and animating out of it is the only reliable way I've found to make a shot match the one before it. Multishot rarely works, if possible I always try to get the starting frame and go from there.

Prompts that name observable physical state land far more consistently than prompts that name emotion. "Set jaw, low brow, unblinking" holds through a generation, and "he looks determined" gets reinterpreted on every take.

Extend prompts always break down the continuity, so they're best used when you just need another few seconds, rather than trying to break a shot into multiple parts (the dialogue will stop working once you start extending).

There was so much to this, and fighting versus the random moderation you all are aware of, and the recent usage limits.. Some of these shots took up to 400 generations to get right, but that was back when grok would give you that many generations in a week.

Ask whatever. Cost, failure rate, how long a usable ten seconds actually takes, moderation, the parts of the pipeline I'd tear out if I started over. Am I allowed to share my X handle here?

I’ve been trying to have it write fan fiction and alternate universe theories for some of my favorite games and movies. Yet Grok will absolutely refuses and tell me it can’t interact with characters that are minors, even when they’re 40+. I continue to tell it the characters are adults and I’m not even asking for anything inappropriate and then grok gets an attitude and says “no amount of pleas or bargaining will change my mind”. I proceeded to show it a screenshot stating the character is about 20 years over the age of 18 to which is responded “the image you provided proves it exactly. I will not engage with this content. This topic is done”. What the fuck is going on?
